Stayed for Easter weekend. Rooms etc are getting a little older however they were clean and everything was functioning properly and rooms are big with separate mini fridge, microwave, coffee and sink.. Staff is excellent as always. some people complain about no daily maid service but I request no daily service ( we don't do it in our home so why do it when away). Pool was decent and thankfully no kids while I went. Exercise room is basic. Noise level on my floor was minimal and no running kids like some places so I was very pleased with that. Breakfast is decent with usual hotel eggs, sausage, pancakes or biscuits (depending on day). also some apples, bananas, yoghurt, bagels or English muffins with toaster available. Good and plenty of parking in safe area. Good Value for the money paid.

We really liked this hotel. The clean, practically sparkling room had a separate toilet - shower "closet," the mirrors were brightly lit, the TV was big enough and had a good variety of channels. The sitting area had a fridge and bar sink. Beds were comfortable.

A few times a year I will go to Steelers games, and this Cranberry location is a perfect way to avoid the over inflated hotel rates of the downtown hotels closer to the stadium. Easy to get there though, as you hop on the highway and are at the stadium in 20 minutes. Of course, the hotel is awesome, close to a lot of restaurants and stores. What more can I say? Just stay here!

We made our reservation for the Hyatt Place back in August for a 5-night stay in October. We wanted a hotel that was pet friendly and offered a good hot breakfast each morning. Two weeks before our trip, we received an email letting us know that the hotel was under a new name. We called the hotel just to make sure that our reservation would be honored and that there were no changes. We found out that the new name was Extended Stay and we were assured that everything would be the same. Upon arrival from our long drive from NH, my wife was greeted by a less than enthusiastic person at the front desk and the nightmare began. She was told that the pet fee was no longer $75.00 for the 5 nights, but it was now $150.00 and there was nothing he could do about it. When she came out to the car to let me know, I went in and informed the young man that this was unacceptable and if he didn’t honor the original quoted price, we were moving on. He then said that he would honor the price. The next morning, my wife went down to get coffee and check out the breakfast. Not only was there no regular creamer for the coffee (just 2 containers of flavored creamer) there was no hot breakfast. The so-called healthy breakfast listed on the website consists of; little containers of oatmeal, granola bars, 5 lb. muffins, and coffee. No fruit, no juices, no milk, nothing. Not even a toaster to make a piece of toast. Pitiful! It’s all setup to be a grab and go. When she asked about it, she was informed that they don’t do the hot breakfast anymore because they would be renovating in a few months and all the rooms will have full kitchens so people will have to make their own breakfast. As the saga continued, we were then informed that they didn’t have housekeeping to make-up your room each day. You need to stay at least 6 nights before that kicks in. So needless to say, we had to ask for clean towels and various toiletries along the way. On the fourth night of our stay, we were locked out of our room. The key card reader didn’t work. After some interaction with the young man at the front desk (same person that checked us in) he came up and had to change the battery on the unit. We finally checked out and made our way back to NH vowing never to stay at an Extended Stay again. Oh, and by the way, the room constantly smelled like marijuana (coming through the bathroom vent) and there was no ice bucket in the room, we had to ask for that. To top it all off, there were no apologies by the staff for any of this. If you are planning an extended stay in this hotel don’t, stay somewhere else!!

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I have had in many years. Hotel was disgusting and we would have left if it wasn't already very late. Checked in and there was no water available in lobby or room; halls and elevators were filthy with trash and food crumbs in carpet in many places, Arrived at room to find the door ajar - someone had positioned the lock bar to keep the door from closing. After checking the room to make sure no one was inside, we decided to stay as the kids wanted to sleep immediately. The bathroom tub/shower was dirty and moldy. We soon learned that the bathroom fan & light, which was directly over the toilet, leaked cold water continuously (no idea where it was coming from)...so in order to use the toilet you had to drape a towel over your head and back to catch all the cold water dripping down. Would strongly advise you to stay away at all costs...the overall condition of the property and staff lack of engagement is a negative indicator that your experience will be any better than ours.

Upon first entering the desk clerk was busy off to the side chatting with friends, told us "Just a minute", we waited then when she was ready, she went over to the desk to check us in. There was no mention of Wi-Fi instructions, after entering our room trying to connect to Wi-Fi, was having a problem, wasn't recognizing our name, so I went to the desk and asked if she misspelled our name, her response was ohhhh that way doesn't work, we have to let you in another way and proceeded to show me how to do it, when I wasn't doing it fast enough for her she wanted to take charge of my phone, I said NO, finally made it into the Wi-Fi, went back to my room, room was ok, clean, hallways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a while and upon checking out, there was what looked like toilet paper had been stuck to someone's foot in the hallway! Will look elsewhere if we need a room in that area again!

Dried my kid off with a dirty towel the first night. It has been used and then recorded and put back on the shower rack. I was supposed to be comped my entire pet fee but the next morning they told me I could only be comped half. Nothing about this place is worth the money. Sleep in your car if you have too.

After reserving on 08/27/22, I was notified in mid September that effective 09/30 the Hyatt Cranberry would be an Extended Stay America but my reservation would remain if that was what I wanted. I agreed. Unfortunately, what was promised by Hyatt was not what I received from ESA. The breakfast consisted of highly processed packaged grab and go items, very limited. My room had visible mold and fungus on the window and a/c unit and the carpets were very worn and stained. The building was not secured, the rear doors remained unlocked 24/7 despite the card reader in place. With the change of ownership, there was no housekeeping to empty garbage or replace towels/linens during my 4 night stay. I would not recommend this facility with so many others in the area to choose from.

The room was spacious and clean. The gentleman checking us in was very gracious; however, we were NOT told we wouldn’t have turnover service for a four night stay. It was fine but this is a policy that should be posted and stated.
Breakfast was just flat out pitiful and coffee was gone by 9:30 or 10:00 daily. With no coffee makers in rooms, coffee should be available until checkout. Covid shouldn’t impact that if breakfast(ish) is being served and the pool is open and the day clerk is chatting with another employee, and she’s not wearing a mask.
We were able to get what we needed in terms of toiletries and towels but it’s really not acceptable to have trash in the hallways, which did occur.
I think all hotels are suffering from lack of staff after Covid, and I think this hotel is too. It’s disappointing to see a nice venue suffer.
The hotel is showing wear snd tear snd I’m wondering why Hyatt didn’t take time during Covid to repair the pool and fix some other things things like broken seals on windows. Things that workers could work on and be unaffected by Covid.
So what should have been an excellent stay—the potential is there, and they do have good staff, was simply average.

Terrible, when we check in we realize that no one is at front desk to help us check in, we waited for like 15 min for check in. When we are at the room, we find out that there no wifi at our room, so ask to change the room, but we are refuse to change the room. We was ask by the front desk staff to give the service provider a call to fix the issues, it’s too us 1 hour and 10 min to try to fix the hotel problem, in which we still not able to resolve the issues. Can’t believe we was ask to call the service provider to resolve the hotel problem. Please notes, we are foreign visitor which depend the wifi not only to do some work with our laptop, however, we need to connect with our family and friend. So when ask to speak the manager, no manager is available to assist our request.
