We spent a night here to view the fall foliage in the area. We were pleased with our stay. It was only $90 so that was a plus. It was clean, roomy, and comfortable. We had a good nights sleep, and would for sure recommend a stay. They had coffee and some muffins and such in the morning. The place was extremely clean and well kept. Wifi worked pretty well, but was spotty.

The walls seemed a little thin as we could hear the neighboring rooms TV when nothing was on and we were quiet in our room. But once we turned ours on we didn't notice it again. No problems from noise while sleeping either. But did notice their TV again in the morning when we woke up and it was quiet in our room.

Would stay here again and recommend it.

Clean! Large room! Huge bathroom! Friendly people! Great bed! Intriguing "find" as it is so rough around the edges. By that, I mean the bathroom counter, for example, is made from plywood underneath. But, that does not detract from the overall comfort of the space. What I really appreciated was the fact that the room was fairly free of ads and knick-knacks, so I had room to spread out on all surfaces without having to move hotel property. Major reviewing companies would probably give this hotel a two-star rating, but I found it to be comfortble and inviting from the first phone call to reserve a space til I checked out two days later. I would definately stay here again!

The hotel is in the same category as a Hampton Inn: large, comfortable and clean rooms with an excellent mattress and top quality bed linens. A big plus is that the main building is completely non-smoking, a welcome relief. The windows also open up to let in fresh air. Now the negatives: Shirley, the general manager, is not a very friendly sort: you're greeted with a frown rather than a welcoming smile. Donna and Phares, the afternoon and night attendants, were much friendlier. The bathroom could be better supplied with soap and toiletries (only 2 tiny bars of soap were on the bathroom counter, no shampoo, lotions, shower cap, etc.). The air conditioning/ heating unit kept the room at the temp that you set but was a bit noisy. The continental breakfast was just adequate. The hotel does not have a pool or exercise room.

The staff is friendly. Rooms are clean.

No in room coffee machine, no in room microwave, TV is cable only, no smart TV where one can login to apps.

No vending machines anywhere on premises, no washing machines available for guests, absolutely no guest services. Zero frills.

One can hear conversations of all in hallways and rooms next door. Extremely poor soundproofing.

Basically, this is a place for one who just needs a clean bed to sleep in and nothing else for a cheaper price.

I stay in 40 hotels a year for the past 8 years and this was the first that did not provide shampoo. Called front desk to get some and was treated very poorly. Was made to go to front desk and get it myself even though there were two employees working. They treat like they have no competition and that they are doing you a favor. It was not dirty but way outdated. Business travelers stay way away!!!!!!

We paid $72 for a night's stay. The hotel is clean and neat. Nothing homey about it just a nights stay. Sparse breakfast but enough to get you going in the morning. Would recommend if you are traveling through.

We booked this hotel for sunday night labor day weekend not a lot to pick from in the area. Based on reviews we figured it would be a good choice. We had nine motorcycles in our group and spent the day riding the mountains and enjoying the area but the last twenty miles going to the hotel was spent in a heavy rain. We rolled in soaking wet and pretty beat parked under the canopy went in to check in. We were greeted by a friendly woman that let us know they had a covered parking area we could pull the bikes into so they would be dry over night. She also let us know the restaurant across the lot would be closing at 7 but if we made it over they would serve us no problem, so we changed quick and headed over to eat had a great meal. With it being Sunday night labor day weekend not much open and we were so glad to find a nice comfortable lounge area off the lobby we spent the evening having a few drinks and some good conversation with our group and some other guests. The rooms are roomy clean and comfortable. They have a nice little breakfast set up and the coffee was hot and kept full. I know I will book here again when we ride the mountains being so biker friendly makes it an easy choice.

The room was a nice size & clean. My view was very beautiful (I was in the annex building that allows smoking). Grounds were nice.

The breakfast was severely lacking. It was basicly some orange drink (not juice) and two types of undercooked muffins. The noise from the shower in another person's room woke me up at 7am.

Staff pleasant but blasé.. Overall décor welcoming. Coffee terrible, watched staff pour fresh into old. Stayed two nights but left one day early due to extremely uncomfortable mattresses. They actually sank into a V when you laid down ( rm 166). In 50 yrs of traveling have never experienced that before. Front desk laughed when informed- this was a $87/nt room so not dirt cheap. The main things I look for when staying away from home are comfort and cleanliness. This hotel did not meet my standards.

This is a great hotel. I stay here all the time when I am in Potter County on business. The hotel is very basic but clean and comfortable. The people who work here (front desk) are very professional and nice. The rooms have a refrigerator, comfy recliner, flat screen TV, large bathroom and I always get a King bed. They serve breakfast in the morning. There is a restaurant next door, Kaytees, which is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
In the summer there is a nice grassy area behind the hotel and a stream or river runs by the hotel. I have seen people fishing. There's a picnic area and a fish cleaning station.
There are not coffee makers in the room, so I always request one and they bring it to my room when I check in along with coffee, creamer and sugar.
I have always had a pleasant stay here and have never had a problem.
