Detailed Reviews
My son and I Just recently stayed at the hotel for spring break.
The hotel could use an update and a better cleaning of the rooms and common areas other than that its in a good location to all of the events we went to in the area. My son enjoyed the trains that went pass our window daily as he is really into the hobby of trains so that was a nice treat for him.
Leana was very welcoming upon check in she mentioned that the pool was under repair and gave us the name of a community pool in the area that we should try and she was great with multi-tasking.
Ranada was very kind and checked us out of the hotel very smoothly we even noticed we had on the same nail polish color we had a good laugh.
In the mornings there was two women that was handling the breakfast bar I didn't catch there names but they were both very nice, they kept the area well stocked and was very clean.

This hotel had some nice features. It's all suites with a kitchenette & includes a complimentary hot breakfast. The staff was nice! There were negatives though. This hotel with 6 floors only had one elevator out of two working throughout our 3 day (2 night) stay, meaning you had to wait longer to get onto a an elevator. While we were glad we had air conditioning during an unusually hot weekend, our air conditioining unit was quite loud. As the top drawer in the chest in our bedroom was broken, we only used 2 of the 3 drawers. This hotel also is right next to the railraod tracks. We heard the trains passing by as well as their loud horn blasts. Lastly, I felt there was an odd bathroom design. The room containing both a toilet & tub/shower had a door. The alcove area, next to this though, that contained a sink opposite a closet, was open to the bedroom. That means when you turned on the light, washed your hands, or used the hair dryer, you could wake the person still in bed. A simple pocket door between the alcove & bedroom would have solved this problem. Heads up that the lobby where you can choose to check-in in person, if you'd like, is on the 2nd floor!

The residence inn Conshohocken is located minutes from I-76 , 476 , 202 and the PA turnpike, close to many great restaurants. The hotel itself was great, unfortunately the gentleman working the front desk wasn't very friendly and our room was not ready in time for the 3pm check in and we didn't get into the room till about 6pm. I was not offered a credit or any other compensation for the delay, which would have been acceptable, the hotel also made no attempt to notify guests of the delay. The room itself was clean , comfortable and very spacious, although I did notice water stains on the ceiling.

I've used the Residence Inn Philadelphia Conshohocken for many years because it is convenient for visits with family living in the area. Over this time, I have seen a slow but steady deterioration of the hotel facilities, and the current, post-quarantine version of the hotel is the worst yet. The lower lobby area, first seen when entering the hotel, was littered with uninstalled equipment, its packaging sloppily strewn about the floor. The room I was assigned had visibly worn carpeting and furniture, and the bathroom door looked as if someone had tried to kick it in. The air conditioning unit was one of the loudest I've ever heard, and only cycled on AFTER the room had already become uncomfortably humid. Worst of all, the mattress was old and the fitted sheet's elastic so worn that it wouldn't stay on the mattress. Twice I awoke to find that I was sleeping on the bare mattress. SEPTA trains operate in front of the hotel, but the noise they create was not nearly so disruptive to sleep as the long-abused mattress and noisy air conditioning. Marriott seems to be the main game in town, and it's obvious from this property's poor upkeep that competition is sorely needed.

Just returned from my worst stay in a hotel in my life. The hotel has clearly still not recovered from the fall flood as there is a stench and the pool remains closed. We checked into our king room and we’re greeted by an air conditioner that struggled to stay at 75 degrees and a dripping ceiling in our bathroom. We were moved to a furniture handicapped accessible room with and air conditioner that worked but sounded like a helicopter every time it kicked on. < 1 hour of sleep last night … will not return. This hotel is not worthy of wearing the Marriott badge. As a lifetime titanium member … I’ve never been more disappointed in Marriott than I was this weekend. That said … the front desk staff was cheery and worked hard. They are undermanned and unfortunately are not playing with a full deck. I recommend you avoid at all cost!

This hotel is an absolute embarrassment. Perfectly located over the wrong side of the tracks with the musky smell of creosote mixed with a hint of diesel you are well primed to stand for a long while in front of a well dented elevator stack with only one elevator working. In about a half hour when you finally make it to the cost effective single manned reception desk you are told of the hidden pet charges to be added to your bill then handed the keys to your kingdom for the weekend.
Upon entering your popcorn painted room you are magically transported to a rural motel. You might want to take a nap on the shabby not-so-chic furnishings but first take one of those thin towels from the gloomy bathroom to keep your DNA separate from what is embedded in the couch.

Worst hotel stay in a long time. Hotel was overbooked upon our arrival. Our room was not ready until 7 pm. Only dressed one bed.
By 10:30 pm, they were still unable to accommodate additional bedding, so we went out to buy our own!! Garbage was not collected from our room upon our request. Did get additional rolls of toilet paper upon request, but found them thrown on our floor when we entered the room. Towels came in a variety of colors, not just white (where did they pull these from?). Addressed the concerns with staff members, but they were disinterested. Seemed they had more interest in their phone. Avoid this hotel!

First thing you need to know is that the SEPTA line runs right in front of this hotel complete with two road crossings at either end of the property. So be prepared for late night and early morning train horns as they roll by all day, every day. Secondly, for a hotel that was recently renovated, our room was in need of repairs. There was only 1 sliding door on the closet and it wouldn't slide completely from one end to the other. It got stuck on the left side which hindered access to the iron and ironing board. They do not clean the rooms every day, but every 3 days. The problem is that for an all suite hotel that has full kitchens in each room, the trash piles up after a day or so. We had to buy garbage bags to handle the trash that wouldn't fit in the way too small trash bins. The free breakfast was about what you would expect. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Next time we are in the area, we will stay elsewhere.

Response from PHLCN Guest Services, General Manager at Residence Inn Philadelphia Conshohocken

Thank you for your review. We are pleased that the staff was friendly and accommodating. Yes, the SEPTA Regional Rail is nearby providing easy access to Philadelphia, which unfortunately disrupted your tranquility. In regard to housekeeping, our standard frequency as posted is every other day beginning on day 3. Additional services such as trash pickup can be coordinated at the front desk to meet your needs. We will be certain to review your feedback and look for ways to improve. Best regards.

So this is probably the worst RI in which we've stayed...and we stay in a lot of RIs because of the availability of 2BRs. That said it wasn't bad...just OK. If we had to stay in the immediate area and needed a 2BR I would stay here again without a qualm. But if I just wanted to stay 'near Philly' I would choose a different RI.
From our what it's worth COVID department, they did not provide coffee packs in the rooms. And 'breakfast' was coffee - regular or dark, no decaf - and packaged banana nut muffins. Again, not up to the standards other RIs have managed to maintain during COVID.

When arriving we met the most delightful host - Sade. She couldn’t do enough to make our stay special. She gave my granddaughter a “goodie bag’ and welcomed us to the town. Our room was a bit warm and my husband asked Sade to check it out for us. She concluded that the air was not working and proceeded to give us another room. Each step of the way she was helpful. Noticing the pullout couch was missing pillows, she had housekeeping bring the to us in a timely fashion. The maintenance crew was sent for to clear a clogged sink (Sade called them and they showed up within 5 minutes). they were pleasant and left us with a note and a chocolate hammer to let us know they were there if needed. Having all this speedy attention made us feel “taken care of.
The Inn thought of many things - fruit and bars available for all to savor. Games in the dining room for all. The free breakfast was a plus, with pleasant servers. Cudos to the manager for her creativity.
A special thank you to Sade!

Yes, it was flooded in Sep 2021, and it hasn't recovered. I stayed in Feb 2022 after it had been closed for months and it still had no amenities - no elevator, no pool, no bar, no breakfast. From more recent reviews, it doesn't seem like the situation has improved much.
Not that I could see.
