Check In was really quick and efficient. The young man at the desk was really friendly and talkative, asking questions about our plans for our stay. We went up to our room, dropped our bags, and headed to dinner & the Pennhurst Asylum for our Ghost Tour. We returned to the hotel ~2am, and there was no one to be seen in the entryway. We headed upstairs and got ready for bed! We turned out the lights within 15 minutes of opening the door...we are "old" and were exhausted! ;) We got up the next morning, to find all sorts of "red paper trash" all over the floor of our room. In this day of COVID precautions with masks everywhere, to be greeted with the fact that your hotel room wasn't fully vacuumed before you arrived...was everything fully cleaned? We do seem to be healthy, but I would think twice before booking this hotel again.

My husband and I have stayed at this location several times visiting family, and have always found it to be clean, comfortable and accommodating. There’s a nice Bistro located in the lobby with a full bar which is open in the mornings and evenings where you can get breakfast, dinner or a drink and snack. The food is quite good there and the staff could not be more friendly. On our last trip, we got to talk with one of the workers at the Bistro, Rose. She could not have been more friendly and helpful. We also watched her interact with other patrons, and she is just a universally nice and engaging person. What an asset she is to your hotel and to the customers you serve! The hotel also boasts a very nice seating area in the lobby that includes TVs and a welcoming fireplace. There is also a snack pantry to purchase food items in the afternoon or otherwise when the Bistro is closed, and a convenient computer area to print boarding passes, check emails or surf the internet. If you are traveling through or to this area, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

I called last minute and booked a room to sleep in from 8am to 5pm after working overnight at a nearby hospital. The night shift front desk agent was very accommodating to get me a room booked at 4am to be able to check in at 8am. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet enough during the day that I was able to get a good sleep in. Very clean and beautiful room. Highly recommend!

Our room was nice and the property grounds are nice. My biggest hiccup is when we checked in (we waited until the required checkin time) we were told that despite our reservation they were over booked. They told me I could look for other lodging on my own or back track 45 miles to the nearest Courtyard/Marriott property that had a vacancy on a Saturday night. I tersely explained that we had the reservation for months and that we were visiting from California on a family trip. I let them know we had just driven 3 hours to reach the hotel (an overnight stopping point to our next destination). After some hymning and hawing the desk clerk (not the friendliest) let us have our room but needless to say we were stressed while she decided IF she would be giving us our room or NOT. Put yourselves in our situation. Would you do business with a hotel that you can’t trust to honor a reservation made 4 months in advance? If I was looking to gamble I would’ve stayed in Atlantic City. Nobody wants to find themselves without a bed after a long drive.

The experience I had during my stay was very poor, to the point that I would be embarrassed if I were the manager of the facility. I was part of the wedding block and originally given a room on the second floor for my stay.

Upon entering my room, there was laundry piled on the couch, food and drink around the room, some clothes and trash still left on the floor and in the bins. Clearly this room had not been cleaned or prepped for my stay. I spoke with the front desk and was moved to the fourth floor.

The new room was clean for the most part (hair was found on the towels) but this hotel struggles to handle even the smallest of tasks or features. Coffee cups and tops don't fit, the coffee sleeves don't fit, the catering ordered through the hotel for the wedding rehearsal dinner was dry, flavorless and not enough for the number of people ordered (of which I believe the family is handling that issue), hotel room phones don't work, the ironing board in my room wouldn't stand...big or small issues there are just too many of them. I would never recommend this hotel based on my stay there but I truly hope that this feedback helps improve and fix the situation at the hotel.

The wooden furniture is also pretty worn (scratches, dings and dents) in many rooms. Again no single issue here is "the end of the world" but things add up and, for the price per night- I would expect a better hotel.

The front desk staff I did speak with and work with were very kind and did their best to fix what they could and for that, I am appreciative. It is unfortunate that my stay was so poor and many of the wedding guests shared similar sentiments with me.

I followed up with the general manager and was offered, in my opinion a generic apology.

We stayed here because the Residence Inn - located maybe 100 yards away - was full on a holiday weekend. What a difference. For basically the same price at the Residence Inn, you can get a free breakfast, and with the "executive suite", a full kitchen with a stove, pots and pans, etc. Staying here, we got a mini-fridge, not even a microwave, and the option to pay for an overpriced breakfast. A basic and comfortable hotel room, yes, and good service (The heat didn't work in our room, and when informed, the front desk staff promptly moved us into an alternate room). But for this price, you can do much better next door.

Megamyth- we do apologize that your experience was not up to your expectations. We understand the space in guestrooms as well as the free breakfast is important to you and for that we are sorry we couldn't accommodate for your recent stay. The Courtyard brand and Residence Inn brand are very different in terms of offerings, which guests typically prefer one over the other depending on their travel needs. We hope that you have an enjoyable stay at either property if you are ever back in the area and appreciate your honest opinion! Thank you!

Let’s be honest, you know what to expect when you stay at a Courtyard by Marriott, and this Courtyard by Marriott does not disappoint, my guy.

Pleasant stay for a wedding. Clean recently renovated room (shoutout to the cleaning crew for room 511), ample outlets, usb plugs right in the couch (whaa!), friendly staff, well stocked snacks, fresh coffee, fast elevators, and a surprisingly comfortable bed.

This hotel was booked for me as part of a business trip. I could not be happier. I did not use the pool or many amenities; however I did scope them out. Not only is there a pool and fitness center but also self serve laundry. The market is open 24/7 and well stocked. You’re warmly greeted upon check in and the staff is very accommodating (I’m allergic to down so they immediately changed the pillows and offered to strip the entire bed) This was in no way their fault as I didn’t book the room so my preferences didn’t update. They made sure I was able to have a later check out as well. Any communication was prompt , professional and with happy disposition. This was also the first time in a long time that I didn’t wake up with a sore neck or back! As someone with lower back and neck issues this was amazing. Lots of pillows and you can ask for more. Love that they have service where you can watch your Netflix streaming on the tv and they even have QR codes in the rooms now to leave a tip for housekeeping etc. Nice fridge and microwave along with a single serve keurig and selection of drinks. Now there were a couple negatives. The doors for the adjoining rooms do not stay open. And there’s no way to keep them open. We eventually utilized the rubbish bins to accomplish this and swapped key ?each room is given two) so that we didn’t have to keep opening doors and the accessible shower renders the entire bathroom a small lagoon and it will leak under the door onto the carpet just outside. Which is t pleasant when you get up in the middle of the night and are met with a squishy cold rug. The dining options inside and mini Starbucks are a huge bonus and there are so many restaurants including gluten free. As someone with Celiacs this was really a bonus. There’s also plenty of shopping , a zoo and other things to do all within a 5-45 ish car ride.

We stayed here for a wedding, and had an excellent time! The staff was beyond helpful, and the hotel bar stayed open for the afterparty, which made for a memorable night. There were also shuttles to and from the venue, which ran regularly so we didn't feel rushed or stressed about time. Would highly recommend!

The rooms were spacious and clean however the front desk staff were a bit unorganized. The shuttle driver was over the top rude and probably should not be working with the general public. There was no lotion in the rooms and the front desk pantry area did not stock mouthwash. These are basics that should be in any place calling itself a hotel. I stayed two nights and my room was not cleaned. I know some hotels no longer do full cleaning for short stays but at the very least my towels should have been replenished. I expected better from this brand.

Londonman1, we appreciate the time you have taken to share your experience with us, and we apologize that we fell short of your expectations! We pride our team to be well rounded, friendly and helpful, so to hear that is not what you received is disheartening. I would love the chance to hear specifically of this occurrence if you were able to contact me. In regards to lotion and mouthwash, these are complimentary amenities available by request from the front desk- we wish we would have known to provide them to you along with other toiletry amenities! You are correct that Marriott along with some other brands have switched over to every-other-day cleaning in certain hotel brands. The off day of cleaning, if you are ever in need of anything or had we known of needing fresh towels, we could have provided them at any time. Once again, we apologize these items impacted your stay the way that it did.
