We loved the pool. Pool attendant was extremely friendly. Hot tub was working perfectly.
The breakfast is EXCELLENT for families. Everything you could possibly want including Belgian waffles with toppings!! 3 different kinds of juices, eggs, sausage, yogurts, fruit… I would stay here again for the breakfast alone. The Latino woman who helped put out everything was also incredibly sweet and friendly!! It’s so nice to have that kind of customer service. The complimentary coffee was also tasty and not watered down.
The only bad thing that happened during our stay was we had issues with the toilet flap (water ran and ran…) and the morning we were leaving the toilet overflowed and ruined my change of clothes. As all this happened my kids needed to use the bathroom simultaneously and we all needed to shower still, so in a panic we asked to relocate our room until checkout which thankfully they accommodated, but it was still a pain. We were offered a few thousand Marriott points but I do feel like they should have offered a little more than that for the hassle, which I was not happy about.
I would stay here again but I would make sure the toilet flushes easily as soon as we get to the room.
I've tried to find how to communicate this with management, but it simple doesn't make sense to offer an EV parking spot at a hotel that charges for idle charging overnight. I plugged the car in around 9pm, it was charged around 4am, and I got charged $5/hour it was on the charged complete (4am-7am).
Could y'all do your guests a favor and change the settings on the EV charger to make sense for a hotel parking lot?? I'm literally sleeping there, so I will mostly be parking overnight. Can you just charge a reasonable rate for the kW and eliminate the silly idle fee??
I went to another property which actually suited me much better. Not much I understanding from the staff at this property.
Breakfast was terrible and shouldn't even be offered. Again, felt like a cost cutting issue. I understand times have been difficult in the travel space, but we paid a pretty high rate for a very budget hotel.
I try to maintain platinum status with Marriott for the late check-out benefit. Requested late check-out before arriving and found out the morning of departure, this was not possible. No reason given.
There are a lot of hotels in this area and others are back to offering full amenities etc. Would chose a different non-Marriott property for my next stay.
Management should seriously consider flipping their staff and not hiring drug addicts/dealers from here on out. Stay at the Courtyard next door.
"Read the fine print on the room type you're getting so you know exactly what it is. Do not assume that because the hotel touts a certain amenity, that you would get that."Read full review
