Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This new location is conveniently located, for quick highway access, an unencumbered trip to a new grocery store, and also, convenient shopping. The facility is very well maintained by a pleasant, and, courteous staff. Kyan, and Wynter; Front Desk, are very welcoming. Dolly; Food/ Beverage, is absolutely a standout, as she is very attentive to the needs of guests. Additionally, Nicole Parker; House keeping Supervisor, always offers a warm greeting, I highly recommend giving this location a try, as it offers everything needed for a comfortable stay.

It was fine. The best part it was quiet, even though it seemed busy. Our room didn’t have washcloths and when we asked for some we received hand towel, the person at the desk was super busy, so not a big deal. The beds all sank in the middle making it tough to get comfortable. I was surprised to see what appeared to be the same debris on the elevator floor everyday we were there . The breakfast didn’t have fresh hot options, just pre packaged.

The Fairfield Inn in Broomall, PA is located just of I-476 aka the Blue Route and at the intersection of PA-3 aka West Chester Pike. The physical location makes it very convenient whether you need to travel East, West, North or South. The property is 20-30 minutes from the Philadelphia Airport and 20ish minutes from other major highways I-95 and I-76.

The staff at the Fairfield Inn are very friendly and super helpful. If you need more coffee or an extra towel or need room service, they will get it done for you and with a pleasant attitude.

Pro Tips - like many properties of this type, breakfast is complimentary so take advantage of it! There is something for everyone at the breakfast buffet. The property has a (small) pool, 3 to 4 feet in depth so pack a suit. Also, just up the hill from the Fairfield Inn is a Giant (brand name) grocery store which is as the name suggests a "giant" store. You can pick up snacks, etc. there to have in your room (small refrigerators in each room). Across from the Giant is Royal Farms which is a gas store/convenience store.

Plenty of parking in front of and behind the property.

Fairfield Inn is a fair value for the cost. As mentioned, the convenient location makes it a good choice whether you are driving through the Philly area, staying for a visit or there on business. 30 to 40 minutes to downtown Philly, depending on where you need to go.

Stayed here for Villanova student move-in weekend. Staff were all helpful and courteous and room was clean. Room service only occurs every three days, but towels and supplies are available upon request. A/C worked very well and we noticed only minimal outside noise despite having a room on the road side of the hotel. Complimentary buffet breakfast is offered - limited choices, but we all were satisfied. (Toast, English muffins, eggs, breakfast meat, waffle maker, yogurts, cereals...) There is a grocery store and gas station/convenience store nearby.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn, Room 226 on Nov. 23 and Nov 24. The staff at the front desk and at the breakfast were very pleasant and welcoming. The room-cleaning service was non-existant. We left our rooms at 9 am and returned at 9:30 pm. Despite the note in the bathroom that said leave dirty towels on the floor and they will be replaced, the room had clearly not been entered. ( And we made sure we did Not leave our "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door knob.) The dirty towels were still on the floor, the bed was unmade, and the dispenser for body soap in the shower was still empty. We called the front desk and were given replacement towels , but clearly the front desk staff couldn't replace the shower gel or make the bed.
It's too bad bc we'd stayed at this hotel before and had no problem. Please clean up your rooms.

As a Lifetime Platinum Elite member of the Marriott Bonvoy program I am beyond livid with the actions of this hotel today. I had a confirmed room booked here at approximately $140.00 for one night. Upon checking my app to get the address for the hotel I notice my next stay is at a Sheraton the following week and not this Fairfield. I call the hotel to verify my reservation and I am told that my reservation was cancelled, and when I queried why it was cancelled, as I most certainly had not cancelled it, I was passed off to reservations. They offered to book me a room at north of $500.00! I literally had to ask for them to repeat that as I thought I must have misheard. $500 for a Fairfield. Very simply, they sold me a room for $140 and then decided to kick my reservation so that they could resell the room for $400 more. I was left at 4:00 in the afternoon on the day of my reservation scrambling to book accommodation for the evening. I have enough on my plate during the work day without having to then worry if I’ll have a place to lay my head when the workday is done. I have five more Marriott family reservations booked this month and another 15 - 20 to book for next month. At this point I’m quite certain that Hilton will be getting my future reservations, and I’m fairly certain that I WILL be canceling the reservations I’ve already booked. Avoid this scamfest of a hotel.

As the other review I also was charged $807 for 1 night!? That is with a $310 charge 20 minutes after I left. Know I have to jump thru hoops to get it back. They actually told me they needed another credit card to pay the right charges .....SERIOUSLY?? Not to mention they also charged my girlfriend $495 on her card as well as $810 totaling $1305 for 3 nights at $149 a night. I was Flat out robbed by these people! And just for a added bonus there was bugs all over the window sill attached pics . It’s just an absolute disgrace ! my email is hdjg0317@gmail.com

I reserved suite directly on hotel website and checked in normally. Was never told that room would not be serviced by housekeeping. Next day about 12:30pm I had not seen housekeeping. Noticed a small sign on table in room that says "During your stay, we would like to offer you personalized housekeeping service upon your request.". Don't know exactly what that means so I called from desk and asked when housekeeping is coming. I was told "we only service your room every other day". Huh? I asked when was I supposed to be informed of that. No response. I then said the sign says I get personalized housekeeping. Response was "Oh, well we can empty your trash and give you towels." That is personalized housekeeping?? Really? Sounds like a pathetic attempt to cut cost by providing less service to guests and not telling them about it. AWFUL. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times before and never had that experience. Screw you Marriott.

This is a business hotel. There is a lot of road noise due to its location. I tried rooms on both sides of the building and it’s slightly quieter on the back side.

The breakfast is a typical American Continental breakfast but the scrambled eggs were better than expected. The staff were friendly and tried to make it a nice experience.

The rooms have everything one could need including iron and ironing board which many hotels don’t have anymore.

The pool is too small to be meaningful and it’s a shame that there gym doesn’t have an exercise bike as not everyone can stand to exercise (treadmill and crosstrainer). There were weights but the lowest weight was 10lbs. No mats to do Pilates or yoga.
