Detailed Reviews
The Fairfield Inn, Philadelphia, Valley Forge, Great Valley, is an absolutely incredible property, located in superbly beautiful surroundings. The staff is genuinely warm, and, welcoming. This location has quickly become a “private oasis,” where I can relax, and, unwind, in incomparable peace, and, comfort.
General Manager, Nancy Hatfield-Taltoan, is the epitome of excellence, attentiveness, and, professionalism, in all areas of the “hospitality services” industry. Nancy is always a treat to encounter, with her welcoming, and, genuine concern to ensure that guests have a pleasurable experience.
From the moment that you enter the property, Nancy greets guests with a genuinely, enthusiastic, warm smile, and, kind words. She also makes every effort to exceed guests expectations. Nancy has managed to exceed perfection, in the operations, and, management, of the hotel, and, staff. Additionally, she truly leads by example, in the execution of her responsibilities, in training, and, management.
Tiera Alston, Assistant General Manager, is also a delightfully, warm, and welcoming hospitality services professional. Tierra is always a pleasure encounter, with her welcoming, and, genuine concern to ensure that guests have a pleasurable experience.
Gail, Breakfast Service Manager, never disappoints in her presentation of meals, responsiveness to requests, accommodating spirit. and, attention to detail. Gail is truly a kind hearted treasure.
Alice Garcia, and, Nicole Waters, are relatively new additions to this team of consummate professionals. Also, they never fail to greet guests with the warmest welcomes, and, genuinely huge smiles. They possess phenomenal customer relations skills, and, superior commitment to excelling, in their individual areas of expertise.
There are also various members of the housekeeping staff, as well as, other staff members, who perform above, and, beyond, superseding all expectations.
If you are in need of hotel accommodations, in the area, you would absolutely be remiss, in choosing any other location.

The areas in the immediate vicinity of the historic Tredyffrin Township have a semblance of peaceful tranquility. As you navigate the gently sloping hills giving way to Valley Forge, you find yourself in a bustling commercial district surrounding the King of Prussia mall. Nestled into a quiet office park located conveniently off the main road lies the institution, Fairfield Inn and Suites.
Arrival is a different experience in the time of coronavirus. Two friendly, slightly anxious, masked clerks greeted us warmly from behind a clear partition as though we were lone customers from the day. The precautions taken by Marriott, the parent company of Fairfield Inn and Suites, were clear from the outset. Masks must be worn in the lobby, no housekeeping services, and the closure of the hotel gym were a few of the steps this hotel was taking to ensure the safety of customers. Also, breakfast was not being served – a conspicuous omission of a customary and often taken for granted service.
The room was small, but clean and well appointed. It lacked closet space, and given we were visiting the area for a wedding, it was an annoyance but not a deal breaker. The air conditioning unit is loud.
The bathroom was very clean, and the shower products smelled good and were of acceptable quality. The lack of hooks for towels and clothing in the bathroom proved to be another annoyance, but again, not a deal breaker.
An amazing feature of this hotel is the proximity to a beautiful paved walking trail that spans for over 10 miles. To get on the trail, you simply need to walk out the back door of the hotel.
This was a very pleasant experience, and I look forward to many return visits during one of our many upcoming trips to Tredyffrin Township.

Our group of 14 senior bicyclists had a wonderful experience during our two night stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. This beautiful hotel is located on one of the Chester Valley Trail access points and is a short drive from several other trails in the King of Prussia area, including the Schuylkill River Trail and the Perkiomen Trail. It is also in close proximity to the Valley Forge Natl Historical Park.
Our group was treated royally by all of the staff at the hotel. The hotel is beautifully maintained and has a variety of places to congregate - from the large outdoor patio to the picnic tables in the rear and the indoor lounge areas.
In addition, there is a wide variety of restaurants nearby that cater to groups and have outdoor seating.
An overall EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE.

Did not find this Fairfield up to the Marriott standards. Our room was clean but for a party of two we only had 3 bath towels one hand towel and one washcloth. Breakfast was typical cheese omelets, sausage, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt. But no fruit, when I asked about fruit. I was told should have been here earlier
Breakfast ran from 6am to 9am. Our headboard of the bed was against the wall of the kitchen. Around 5:15, 5:30 AM, the kitchen was banging, clanging pots in preparation for breakfast. This continued for over an hour. So don't except room 123 if you want to get any sleep. Also there is no housekeeping. On day 2 when I went to desk to get toilet paper, tissues and towels because our room was not made up, I was informed that I needed to request room service. This was news to us. The hotel is in a good area to resturants .

The cleanliness (or lack thereof) and the discourtesy staff at this particular hotel prompted me to write this review. Not sure if the problem is the current state of the economy, i.e., all business across the board are having a difficult time securing good candidates or an issue with staff turnover. But the staff I encountered at this hotel is HORRIBLE. Particularly the people at the front desk, from Cody to Tierra to the other front desk lady. They were not dressed professionally and were not courtesy at all. As a Marriott rewards member, I was not welcomed upon arrive or did I feel welcomed. At Hilton, you're welcomed as a rewards member and they always give out a simple but thoughtful arrival gift. The hotel seemed fully booked as all the common facilities were bursting at its seams with hotel guests. The ice machine in the lobby malfunctioned and there was slippery floors because of it. It gets worse, the bed linens were dirty with stains. No one at the front desk answered the phone the night I tried to get someone to change them out. So I endured one-night with questionable sheets. They did change the sheets the next day, but eww!!!. And the shower drain was heavily coated with mold. So disgusting. Hotel did send someone to clean, but the damage was done. Unfriendly staff and unclean hotel. Total pass. There's plenty of other hotels in the area. I would have posted this review on Marriott, but apparently you can ONLY posts reviews if you're invited. I suspect I did not get an invitation to post a review because management at the hotel knew I would post a negative review. So much for transparency.

I would like to express the amazing stay we had at this property. My son and his team has a weekend of Baseball Showcase. All the families travelled from NY and stayed here. First of all we received a warm welcome from the two guest service agents working the front desk Quadrina and John, whom with their smile and promptness quickly checked us in. They explained all where all the hotel amenities were. I am in Hospitality and there’s nothing better than when you receive great service. Later on that same evening we met Cory whom was covering the evening shift and was very hospitable as well. As we came back from dinner we met Ron who had such a nice and refreshing energy! As the days went by we met Maria who managed the morning breakfast and was so quick with putting out the coffee and breakfast items. We were able to host a BBQ in their outdoor area, we had a nice fire pit. Thomas the houseman was very helpful in ensuring that everything was nice and clean.
I didn’t get to see the housekeepers as we were out all day. However I did notice the cleanliness of the hotel public areas as well as the room we stayed in. I’m not sure if the hotel has a signature scent, but when you walk out of the elevators I noticed a fresh and clean smell in the air. Overall excellent stay! The staff is friendly and very attentive to their guests.

As a Marriott elite with over a million miles earned over the years, I would rate this location in the bottom of the heap. The staff is not only incompetent but downright unfriendly. And example: Every morning of a 5 day stay we went to the breakfast area which is a big open area shared with the desk, there were three televisions blaring with three different stations. The result was a sonic mess. I asked the desk, presumably the manager to change the stations to the same one to stop all of the cross line, She said it is “policy” to have different stations and could only turn downtown the volume. I tried to explain that that was a worthless option and she basically followed me around saying that the only other person in the room wanted a particular channel and that nothing could be changed. I reiterated just change to the same channel. She walked off in a Huss. Next day same request, same response but nobody else in the room!
This is just one of many examples of problems—asked three times for soap in the dispenser. Asked multiple times for towels since they would not refresh the room in a 5 day stay. Nobody at the desk at night—just a bartender in an empty bar talking on a phone (observed every night as we returned.
Don’t bother to ask for a manager—not there—leave a message.
All of the hand cleaners are empty and Covid signs ignored (should be removed).
Congratulations—of my many hundreds of Marriotts- you achieved the bottom 10!!!

Let me preface this by saying that as a hotel owner, I am “ultra-picky” with my hotel accommodation preferences and I’m even more selective when traveling with larger parties and extended family.
I was drawn to the property because of the great online reviews, especially the high ratings for cleanliness and sanitation practices. (Which is of the utmost importance to us.)
** The hotel does not disappoint!!! **
In dealing with the staff at the hotel, we could not have asked for more polite, warm and accommodating people.
I had read online that they make a guest feel like a “welcomed friend” and I’m happy to say that assessment was correct.
I had the pleasure of speaking with the GM, Nancy, complimenting her on the staff & their property. She said they strive to treat everyone as if they were staying at a 5-star luxury hotel on 5th Ave, NYC.
That hospitality goal and the pride in their property really shows!!
Whether staying for family travels or solo on business, I would highly recommend.

Hotel is only a few years old, but looks like it was just built. Room was spotless, as well as the hotel. Nice thick towels. Very nice outdoor space. Super-friendly associates at check-in and check-out. Janet was working when we checked in. I mentioned that we were looking for a brewery that we thought was nearby. She proceeded to start looking it up and offered suggestions for other places also. That evening we were sitting outside and she came out to ask if we wanted the firepit lit and if we needed anything. Great location. Would definitely stay here again.

it's easy to tell how a stay is going to go as soon as you walk in the front lobby. Well, when we walked in the front lobby we were greeted by Lori, the front desk staff. Lori immediately made us feel welcomed and and engaged in conversation about us. She also share a little about herself which made the conversation personable and not predicable. Lori was a welcomed sight after traveling. The rooms were clean and quite. Breakfast was typical of most continental breakfasts, nothing spectacular.
The morning crew (Sunday) was not as friendly but we were leaving so not a big deal but clearly had not gone to the same training as Lori.
