Detailed Reviews
I was able to secure a room here on New Year's Day, at the very last minute. I was in town for a family funeral, and as I was the only patron at the time, I convinced my brother to stay in residence as well, with his large family. We were able to enjoy breakfast together in the large dining room, and several egg casseroles were made to accommodate everyone. Fresh home baked muffins and fruit were offered along with coffee, tea, and juice.
We had the house to ourselves, which was decorated for Christmas, adding to the Victorian Charm of this old building. We spent the evenings chatting n the living room, next to the beautifully decorated tree.
The upstairs level offers one ensuite bathroom, and three bedrooms with use of a bathroom on either side of the hall. It was perfect for a large family upstairs.
The downstairs rooms consist of a family room which holds a king, twin and a trundle, with a private bath, and a queen sized room with a private bath.
Parking is in a lot behind the house.
The house does have free wi-fi, but I found it to be quite spotty. There are televisions in the rooms, but since I do not watch television, I can not attest to what the rooms offer regarding stations.
We were well taken care of while in residence, and I certainly do plan on looking into staying here on future trips to the area.

I've stayed at The Todd House a few times. It's a beautiful house that originally was the Todd family home, belonging to the owners parents. It is beautifully decorated by Jim and Linda Todd. They are gracious hosts, and the hospitality can't be beat. I highly recommend a visit to The Todd House if you're visiting in the Beaver County, PA area in need of a place to stay

If you are someone that is looking for a truely unique B&B which has been meticulously restored to it's 1890's splendor (and then some), you have found the perfect destination. The inn keeper, Jim, is a great host and will provide you with privacy when you want yet will regale you with stories of the local area and his restoration of the Todd House when you want that. Breakfasts are not simply a bowl of cold cereal and the ambience of eating breakfast while sitting in a stately dining room is second to none.
The downtown area of Beaver is a short walk and makes for a nice evening stroll to get dinner or simply explore some of the local shops. A few blocks further is the overlook above the river and the remains of Fort Mctintosh which is worth the time to explore.
This is a destination that will form memories that last for years . . . . . definitely on my "to come back to" list whenever I am in the Pittsburgh area.

Whenever we visit family in Beaver, PA, we stay at The Todd House B&B. Jim Todd is a wonderful host, and we always have a comfortable bed in this beautifully restored Victorian home. The front porch is perfect for sitting and chatting with family and friends.

This place was probably one of the best places we have enjoyed staying. It is right downtown and if you walk in the morning there isn't a better place. We would walk about 3 miles every day. When we got back Jim had our breakfast ready. He is just a wonderful person to talk with. The room we stayed in was just like being at home and when you went into the other rooms it was like it was your house. We didn't even need a key to the room that is how safe we felt. Beautiful home and grounds. Sit on the front porch, drink coffee or people and car watch. Just so carefree and relaxing. When we return there we will definitely stay there because it is jsut home now to us. Thank you Jim for your hospitality. You are amazing and so is your home and thanks for opening it up to us.

My wife and I stayed for two nights and had a FANTASTIC time! The house is beautiful and the Victorian decorations were fascinating. Host Jim Todd was warm and welcoming, and made us feel like part of the family. We enjoyed learning about the house and the area--and he was happy to let us store our dinner leftovers in the fridge. We visited in July, and the weather was steamy and hot, but the air-conditioning was more than adequate and kept us cool and comfortable. We also loved that it is just block from the downtown area--within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and more. The breakfasts were delicious and the company delightful. We discovered the other guests were returning, and we soon knew why. We'll be staying at Todd House next time we're in Beaver!

The location of the Todd House is ideal!
All of the cute shops and delicious eateries in the quaint town of Beaver are close by. The house is gorgeous and clean while the owner is friendly and makes a delicious quiche! We will be back. I miss the big porch.

Historical Victorian home and decor, friendly, informative host who cooks a great breakfast, comfortable bed and clean private bathroom, what more could you ask for?! It is also conveiniently located with off street parking. This is really a lovely place to stay. The family we have in Beaver were thrilled to come sit and visit with us in the parlor. There is so much interesting memorabilia scattered about too. We spent a delightful evening of playing "what is this"?

We have stayed at hotels many times, but we thought we would try a B and B. This was the right decision in staying at this Victorian mansion. This is a house that has class and atmosphere. We enjoyed staying in the town of Beaver, Pa, which was established way back in 1802, and this house was built in about 1870. In addition, the owner was congenial. We would return if we need to be in Beaver County again.
