Detailed Reviews
The property is really pretty, situated in a special river location with cool outdoor space and the rooms are nice. I second other reviews however, as far as housekeeping taking away from the experience. My room was a gorgeous corner room but I had to clean my own shower (bought materials at CVS) which had mold and hairs on the floor. Hairs on floor around toilet. I ended up requesting a vacuum be brought up so I could vacuum the carpet because there were crumbs and actual little rubber bands from someone's braces on the carpet. Do they even vacuum at all? I vacuumed outside my main door in the hallway too because there were food crumbs all over that carpet too. (I did these things myself because it's easier and I trust myself more than staff who didn't do these basics the first time.) However the room was pretty and the view nice - the main lobby lounging area was nice. Breakfast was great. Many of the staff warm and helpful. So I guess kind of a mixed bag.

Although a bit on the difficult side to find ( the GPS address input takes you to a spot across the river looking at it) this is a gorgeous overnite stay. Beautifully decorated in an old iron mill, all big and open and very tastefully done. Didn’t use the restaurant as had our Spoo with us. Nice selection of wines in the little market all RI have now enabled us to have nice eat-in dinner in our corner room on fifth floor which was spotless, huge, and comfy. Both the pm and the am desk people were total plus, and the breakfast which gets pretty old after five mornings in a row eating the same stuff in different RI driving north from FL was a pleasant difference. Instead of tasteless scrambled eggs they served some very tasty egg and cheese frittata with turkey sausage. Gorgeous lobby and public room. Easy on and off the always massively crowded interstate.

This is one of the most unique properties I have seen in my many years of domestic travel. Driving to the hotel, you would have no idea how close you are to the city of Philadelphia. It is so off the beaten path yet so close to everything. The hotel is built around an iron structure that looks like a railroad bridge, which is very cool. The outdoor space is great. You need a key to get into the elevator, which makes you feel really safe. The views are also so unique. And the customer service was impeccable.

Fortunately when I checked in, housekeeping was in the Hallway and the young lady was kind enough to clean the stains off the sofa, floor and dishwasher. They were white, milky stains about 3 inches. Bio fluid? Who knows.
After arriving home (I do not live in PA), my card on file was used in the same area in Philly. I only use that card for hotel stays for points and when I travel abroad because there are no fees. I was planning to leave the country the following week. My card was used in Philly then someone used it to check in a hotel in Chicago. I had the card in my hand so they had to have a scamming plan where they take cards and create duplicates.
I never used that card anywhere else. Card canceled. Charges disputed.
This created a fiasco for me because now I had to take another card out of the country and use it at the hotels, so I lost points and gained fees.
There were no restaurants open on a Tuesday night.
At any rate... hard pass.

This is a very new property so the lack of care is astonishing which included a filthy room, public hair lining the bathroom floor, even in the tissue box on the bathroom counter top, the one thing that should be sealed in a bathroom until you open the box. The kitchen area, dirty dishes, including silverware, pots and pans which were disgusting and left in the drawers to be discovered. The staff is indifferent to requests for cleaning as well as unprofessional and belligerent. The hospitality business has gone out of business here, and it's take what you are given and shut up. Who cares that you are paying for it monetarily or emotionally, they don't.

It was impossible to raise the temperature inside the room above 78 degrees farhenheit. When we arrived, the temperature had been set at 56: that is insane as the summer outside is lovely and I love to be warm, summer or winter. We stayed 3 nights and requested no room service came in so as to not disturb our "heat" setting, but the temperature never lifted above 78 degrees, even though I set it to 84. I was cold at night and no blankets were provided in the room. Meanwhile, the vents that conduct both AC air and heating air are very noisy (that would account for why we never had to complain about any neighbor's noise: the heating made so much noise it would have been difficult to hear anything else! We did smell tobacco on our room one night though: from where???) On the second day, we also noticed strange beige flakes gathering on the black TV stand and some on our bed stands as well. Where did these particles came from? It had to be the heat vent. Every morning we cleared the flakes, but they came back by the evening- as the vents kept roaring. I am never coming back to this poorly designed hotel. It is nice to rehabilitate an old building in an interesting location, but the architecture was not stunning, and the decor is all plastic, fake wood and cheap fake tiles. The heating ducts are darn noisy, and we might have been breathing all night bad chemicals in the form of bizarre flakes oozing out of the ducts. I will add: the water quality from the taps was an abomination- smelly and chlorinated to the hilt.

Do not stay here. I was flying from California to Philadelphia for business. While on flight, I received a call from the director neelesh Narayan that the card that was on file was not valid. He gave me until 5 pm to call him. I didn’t land until 5:08; however he called me at 330 to tell me to disregard the email and that he was going to cancel my reservation. As soon as I land… I call them to provide my card and they tell me my reservation is cancelled and they’re sold out. This is his response when I email him:
“We apologize for the inconvenience; in the future we ask that you kindly book with a valid credit card to guarantee the room. “
So when they make a mistake like telling me I have until 5 pm but cancel me at 330 it’s fine. In addition, if they would looked at my history I’ve stayed there numerous times and our company has stayed there for 300+ nights. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not stay here.

This is an amazing hotel in a great location. The hotel is very close to the interstate. In the room that I stayed in, I had 2 T.V.s with live T.V. and many streaming platforms (YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, HBO GO, SHOWTIME, Crackle, and Pandora). This room also has a safe which is simple to operate. The enhanced WiFi is relatively fast and reliable with download speeds of 29.1 Mbps and upload speeds of 29.8 Mbps. Overall, this is an amazing hotel to stay at during a trip to Philadelphia.

I love this hotel. My daughter stayed there for a month and we stayed there three times between late June and early July.
The location is on a underutilized but well maintained river trail. Although it looks like the hotel is on a busy highway-- it is below highway tucked away. You need a car but with a car you have quick access to everything you want.
The hotel is new and well maintained. The rooms are a nice size and well stocked with amenities for living with a kitchen.
Breakfast had options that were tasty.
And the team was so helpful and friendly.
Loved it!

Beautiful hotel. Wish we could have visited the restaurant there but it was closed. The breakfast was great as was the suite. Big problem however-Monday morning at the pool. We had to leave. It seems like there were displaced rowdy families in the pool. Loud, obnoxious, no respect for the serenity of others. It made me wonder how for approximately $250 a night, you can still have this in a hotel. i have seen it in hotels half the price but wasn't expecting it here. Don't know whether these people are residing there or they were snuck in. Either way, it was a big disappointment having to leave the pool after 2 minutes.

Hi Nina, Thank you so much for staying with us and sharing your feedback. I appreciate the kind words regarding our breakfast and your suite, and am sorry the pool area wasn't what you had hoped for. Rest assured we will share this feedback with our staff to ensure only hotel guests are using the pool area, and that they are acting appropriately.
