Had a lovely stay, Drew checked us in and was very helpful. Was sad to see he wasn’t around as much until our last day. Rest of staff didn’t seem as caring, or as committed. Ok experience overall. Ask for Drew

It is at the side of a street train line, so if you are a light sleeper it may be a problem for you. I sleep like a log, so no issues. The staff was very helpful. Very nice, great disposition. The place is a little old, but well maintained.

I was looking for a reasonable priced hotel to work for a few days to beat the heatwave in Portland, OR. The property is conveniently located to public transportation, stores & eateries. The online pics looked decent for the price. From the moment I drove up to get dropped off, I had concerns. Not trying to “profile” people..... but this property is suspect!!! Not to mention the odors wreaking of some type of substance. When I mentioned this to the front desk that my room smelled like smoke. I was told the property was a non smoking place. I would appreciate if they would “keep it real!!” They know their clientele & what goes on in the property. This property may received some type of Government vouchers for their customers. I didn’t feel safe & due to - COVID, the property doesn’t seem clean or sanitary at all!!! Once I got to the floor & my room, I realized this was a huge mistake..... the room looked nothing like the pictures. On a positive note, prior to going out to dinner and thinking about my decision, I told the front desk, my bed wasn’t comfortable & I didn’t think I wanted to stay. They offered to find another room with a better bed. Which I appreciate. However, it just didn’t feel good as I was leaving, watching the traffic/people coming & going. I could only imagine what the night would bring. When I got back, I asked to cancel my reservation. Which was done without question. The front desk was very accommodating with helping me get my refund since I went through a third party. To the owners of this property. You need to do either or... serve customers receiving vouchers or customers actually paying out of pocket. And if you’re going to charge $179 a night. You need to upgrade your property. I checked into a property two blocks away & the online pics represented the property well. Even tho, I’m paying $100 more for my days, it’s totally worth my safety and health. Food for thought. A complement is the best referral.
