Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bonnie and Steve have a fabulous cabin right on the McKenzie River. You can sit in the screened porch and enjoy the sounds of the river while snuggling up in one of the many blankets they provide. It is very clean, sleeps 4, everything you need is provided from coffee to seasonings for cooking. It is warm and inviting in every possible way. Plenty to go and see in the nearby area! Hiking, water falls, Clear Lake, Belknap Hotsprings...

On September 1, 2012 I rented 5 of the possible 6 cabins at the Log Cabin Inn. I was getting married that day on the Chippewa III on a sunset dinner cruise, which as also catered by the Log Cabin Inn. My family loved staying at the Inn, and myself & my new husband also ended up spending the night there. It was lovely. The beds are so comfortable, the cabins cozy and all the staff wonderful. On September 2nd we had brunch at the Log Cabin for 36 people - delicious and relaxed! It is a relaxing atmosphere, the cabins are clean and I could go on and on about the food! I HIGHLY recommend the Log Cabin Inn to everybody! Also, another feature selling point—dogs are welcome!

This reviewer could find absolutely nothing that wasn't wonderful about this cabin and the surrounds. From the outside it is cute and welcoming. The cabins are staggered so you are not peering into another cabin's bedroom or bathroom. Hubby and I were really very pleasantly surprised at the luxurious "feel" - unexpected at the price point for sure. The cabin feels large, everything looked new - and coming from a germaphobe this is high praise: immaculately clean! The screened porch was a perfect book-reading nook for us - as we loved the sound of the rushing river, and feeling as though we were outside - but not getting wet or super-cold. Though in the winter - it may be a bit too cold to sit out in. The bed in the master bedroom is comfy , the room spacious, and the bathroom very functional and CLEAN! Lots of hot water. The fireplace is lovely, the furniture in the living room is well-thought out (side by side recliners to watch tv, a large cushion-y couch by a window, the dining table suited nicely. And, my and hubby's favorite place - the KITCHEN! Has way more implements, dishes, cookware, small appliances and large appliances than we could possibly use in 4 days. We figured we could actually do gourmet cooking for two for at least 10 days and not miss anything from our home kitchen (except our fancy knives). The gas grill outside is a must for us when cabin-ing...we grilled Bison burgers one night, fresh Halibut the next,,,and oh - the fancy breakfasts! Room enough for two chefs. It was a really great experience, it was a perfect getaway and we hope to go back -

Nice cabin, love the screened in porch over looking the river. Very quiet resort, close to hiking, fishing, and a good restaurant (Takado's). Really easy to book, great response from the property manager.
