Not a hotel but a Motel with all doors exit outdoors. . The web site states that there is a pool, breakfast & coffee there. When I checked in I was told the pool was closed & there was no food or drink available in the lobby though they did have a bowl full of candy...yummy. Everyone had to provide an ID in order to check in - totally unusual process maybe they do it to avoid homeless from living there. The room was OK, and it was clean and comfortable. The AC worked great as the air quality was harzardous. There is a great restaurant Nancy's next door. It was mostly quiet. We were4 surpirsed that the maid came in during our stay but it was nice to get clean towels.

The Choice hotels web site says that this is an award winning hotel. As a Choice Hotels Platinum member I say that the award is for false advertising. The web site states that there is a pool, breakfast & coffee there. When I checked in I was told the pool was closed & there was no food or drink available in the lobby. I also had to provide an ID for my wife in order to check in. I have never had to do that in any hotel I have ever stayed at. However, I asked for a room on the first floor because my wife had hurt her knee & I got one. BTW, all rooms open from the outside. The room was small, but it was clean & comfortable. Both the AC & wi-fi worked great & it was surprisingly quiet considering we were staying in downtown Bend. Even though there was no food or drink here there is a fantastic restaurant next door. If you stay in Bend, there are may hotels to stay in. Just don't stay at this one.

DON'T STAY HERE!! My husband and I booked this hotel for two nights. On the first night, I stepped outside our room to have a cigarette at 9:30 p.m. After returning to my room, the office called and said that they had me on camera smoking outside my room which was not allowed. I was informed that I could either pay a $250 fine and continue to stay in the hotel or leave immediately with a refund for the second night only. I tried to reason with the very rude hotel staff and told them it wouldn't happen again. Needless to say, we left and arrived at our home at 2 a.m. There also was a huge homeless camp behind the hotel which I guess necessitated the need for three locks on your door. There was a large gap between the floor and the bottom of the outside door and light constantly reflected into the room from the traffic and individuals walking by.

I frequently visit Bend and have found this to be the best value. The mattresses are somewhat hard, but the rooms are clean, well equipped, and the showers work well. I don't spend much time in the room except to clean up and sleep, so a reasonable price is high on my list and the Econo Lodge fits the bill. The solid surface floors are likely cleaner than carpet and work better with pets. The homeless have taken over the area west of the motel, but I've not been bothered by them and the motel has no control over that sad set of circumstances.

Dog friendly, which is why we stayed here. Super helpful staff, great price, secure, convenient location, very clean, and entrance from the outside which was a pandemic must- have for us. Our four night stay here was as good as it got on our endless cross country drive.
