This was our 2nd time staying here. The motel is dated , but clean. Check in was smooth and the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating when we asked for extra pillows . There is no breakfast available. There is no elevator so if you have mobility issues just request a ground floor room. I would recommend the addition of sheer curtains, because the curtains are either open or closed- no in between during the day if you like natural light. Best of all , there is a resident cat which is just the sweetest thing, nothing like getting in some kitty petting when you are on the road. Safe and comfortable choice.

The room was basic, typical motelstyle, but clean.
The breakfast could have been godd, but when we arrived nothing was filled.
When we asked for coffee, the lady behind the desk had to start making some.
Other peole asked for eggs and bacon, which she also had to strat making. It was already 9AM. Top of it all was that the lady took some sausages with here bear hands and put htem in her mouth! Without washing her hands, she filled the eggs and the rest of the sausages. People were looking at eachother as 'is this real?'
Never had that experience!

It is still a safe place and the rooms are for the most part clean but it is really starting to show neglect. They do not seem to be keeping it up and it comes across as really dated and worn. The best part used to be the breakfast and now they do not have breakfast or coffee. I do not have a problem staying here but with really low expectations.

After booking at another hotel in Baker City and realizing I could not stay there (safety, smell and so on, I remembered seeing The Rodeway Inn as I was driving through Bsker City. It looked nice and safe. I called and spoke to Paul who was very kind and gracious and shared he had one last pet friendly room available. I told him I would be right there. Upon arrival, he was welcoming. My room was clean, smelled great and very comfortable. I’m so glad Rodeway was able to accommodate my last minute request- highly recommend! 😊

Was a bit nervous based on reviews. After looking at all options we picked Rodeway Inn. The front desk staff were welcoming, answered questions, and made us feel comfortable. While a bit dated, the room was spacious (you could fit a third queen bed) and bathroom had plenty of room. Bed is firm and worked for us. Shower had amazing pressure and water was hot. Room was clean. We felt safe which is extremely important. While not the Ritz it far exceeded our expectations in the category of affordable hotels we give it 5 stars.

Prices were expensive, as they jacked them up for the weekend by $60 because of a sporting event. Not worth the $$$$ at all. Room was clean ish, but not in very good shape. The carpet and furniture needed a deep clean. Wallpaper falling off of walls and black mold behind it.

Stayed at Rodeway March 22 /2022 & called ahead to book as I am a boat & yacht transporter & they have decent parking for my f450 & 35' boat & trailer ! The night desk clerk ,possibly manager of hotel was very nice & came out to help with parking arrangements! The room was decent & clean no problems with room ,I would rate this hotel 3.5 to 4 .0 however my worse nightmare happened when ,next day I noticed 3 bite marks on back of neck & head which now 4 days later are still there ... I am guessing it had to be a spider ! What I look for is hot water ,comfortable bed & no biting of any kind ! I have to go 2.5 on this ...sorry had to tell the truth Bob W , Edgewater Fl

Don’t expect anything fancy here. Our room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. You could see the holes in the wall where different paintings were once hung. The wallpaper was peeling and and scuffed in places. I had to set the time on the clock because it was unplugged when we arrived, and when it had been plugged in a few minutes it started making staticky sounds even though the radio was off. A bulb went out in the ceiling light just after we came. It just felt like it was falling apart. The staff was friendly and accommodating, though, and the beds were decent. If you need a cheap place to rest your head with a pet in tow and you’re OK with a slightly unkempt look, this place will get the job done well enough.

The clerk at front was as helpful as possible, but facilities lack maintenance. Everything tired out, worn out, in need of paint. The water ran, the tv, toilet and shower worked. So basic necessities were there. My pillow case had stain on it that made me wonder if clean. Very thin blankets, very worn out pillows. All furniture chipped or scratched. No breakfast due to covid, but that is not uncommon these days. But nothing welcoming at all about this place. Safe and quiet does count for something and it was.

We just happened upon the Rodeway Inn at the end of a long road trip. Boz (I hope I spelled his name correctly) checked us in. Such a friendly man who knew just what was needed. We were surprised to learn he'd only been working there 3 days. When we checked out in the morning, the man at the front desk offered us coffee to go. I drained the pot, and he said, "No worries, I'll make more." The room was clean and comfortable.
