Hotel's Favourite
On short notice we spent 2 nights here while visiting Hocking Hills State Park. The hotel is newer, clean and comfortable. King room was satisfactory with a very comfortable bed. Upon arrival we were greeted by Spencer, an extremely friendly and helpful desk clerk. He told us we’d come on the right day—every Wednesday they serve a complimentary dinner for guests. We enjoyed lasagna, salad and breadsticks. He also told us if we’d like to sit by the fire pit later, to let him know. Later when we took him up on that offer he came out and started a fire in the Solo stove/firepit on the back patio. We enjoyed relaxing by a very nice fire for a couple of hours on a beautiful evening after a great afternoon of hiking in the park. The breakfast is very good with plenty of choices. We highly recommend this hotel and commend Spencer for great guest service.

3 female friends stayed for 1 night prior to the annual winter hike at Hocking Hills State Park. The room was clean, comfortable, nice looking, had a small refrigerator. The bathroom was very nice, too. The breakfast bar was good with lots of offerings, and was in a u-shaped arrangement away from the tables so it was a better traffic-flow and less congestion once seated than in many hotels.
By far the most impressive thing was the staff. The gal at the desk was friendly, informative, interested in us, asking what else she could do or help us with, and able to split the charge 3 ways. Later, the next shift desk folks were equally friendly and helpful, as were those the next morning. Later after the hike, we stopped back to change out of our wet hiking clothes, get s hot cup of tea, and have some snacks we brought in their public lounge-breakfast table area. Again, they were so welcoming, remembered us, and didn't even freak out that we might make a mess. In return, we tried hard to clean up the dirt we left in the bathroom, etc. Kindness begets kindness. This staff is outstanding, and the hotel is convenient, new, and nice.

The room was beautiful and clean! Friendly staff! Delicious breakfast in the a.m.. We brought our small dog (a Chihuahua) with us. She is an older dog, so she didn't bother anyone with barking or doing any damage. My only problem was that when you travel with a pet you get put on the first floor. In our case our room was right by a supply room and laundry room. I got two hours of sleep the first night listening to slamming doors which eventually slowed down about 3 A.M.. I slept better the second night as by then I was exhausted. The convenience store is very limited. We hiked and walked around one full day. The pool at the hotel is small. After you find a place to eat and do the trails there isn't much to do in Logan. I highly recommend going horseback riding or renting a boat if you go to Lake Logan because there isn't anything else to do around there. The beach we went to wasn't anything to write home about. We loved Old Man's Cave! Three days was too long!

Nice enough hotel. They are friendly. They don't make guests wear masks even when you point it out to them that they have a sign. Asked them why they didn't make guests wear them or why they didn't take the sign down. Need to pick one and do it. The cleaning people who supposedly disinfect the rooms DO NOT WEAR MASKS. How are they providing a clean room? Between this and the first nite the tv didn't work, of course same price of room, then them trying to charge me 45$ more on my last night. For a unsanitized room? Not sure I would stay in this chain again. They clearly don't believe covid is real.

Very nice hotel. We were visiting the Hocking Hills area for 4 days, so this was a great location. Check-in was a breeze, as was check out. All the employees were polite. The rooms were as described and everything was clean. The breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold and the employees were quick to add more when needed and kept the area clean at all times. The last 2 days we were there, there was a water boil order in place for the city, but they went and purchased bottled water to make coffee, and bottles of juice and water. The pool was small, but we never used it. There wasn't a hot tub, which we would have used. There are restaurants nearby, some within walking distance, and many others within an easy drive. Shopping options are nearby as well. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights and it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and personable, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The room was clean and large enough for my wife and I. The water pressure in the shower was very good, and there was always hot water. The breakfast choices were larger than any other place we've stayed. I cannot think of even one negative thing to say about this place, except that the indoor pool was quite small and might be disappointing to a family with children looking forward to swimming.
All in all, definitely would return for another stay here!

I came down with both family and friends over Memorial Day weekend, and overall had a good experience. The front desk staff were very personable and helpful with giving recommendations for dinner and getting us anything we needed during our stay. The breakfast was good and was kept well stocked despite the constant flow of guests. The room was clean and spacious. My only complaint in regards to my room was that it looked like there was some type of mold or mildew growing on the outside of the window looking out of the room. If you’re staying in Logan or planning to explore the nearby state park, I would definitely recommend staying here as it’s located in a convenient location, has friendly staff and has a welcoming atmosphere.

Room was great BUT the fire alarm that keep going was not (8 times from 10:58 pm till almost 3 am). We were told it was a false alarm at the beginning. at check out it was some one smoking in their room. Credited 30 dollars which I think was not at a good way to handle a customer as we stayed one night and it was our first time at Hocking HIlls. We do not plan on staying at this Sleep inn again as I feel they did not accommodate their guests very well.

Stayed here during our visit to Hocking HIlls. Never sure what you will find when you book hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the hotel was and the surrounding area as well. Check in person was very friendly and prompt. All aspects of the hotel were clean and in order, we usually use steps and I remarked how clean the stair wells were, to me if they take the time to keep them clean everything else is clean as well. They had the softest towels in the room as well as the pool area that I have ever used, some people complain about towels being to rough. The pool was sparkling clean. Breakfast was very good with a plentiful variety of choices. I would recommend this hotel if you want a clean, comfortable place to sleep and would definitely stay here again.

This was top three best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The entire facility was incredibly clean and the staff was the friendliest and most personable that I have ever encountered. The free breakfast had a great selection and the “chef” even walked around, asking if everyone was enjoying their food. The location was perfect - within walking distance to many restaurants and only a few miles away from Hocking Hills State Park. Safety was not a concern whatsoever, just a great location. The free cookies at the front desk were also a nice touch - get the M&M!! I would absolutely stay here time and time again.
