Pub accomodation. Bathroom needs a severe update and if I'm honest we would have booked anywhere else that weekend if we could have. Staff were friendly but at the end of the day, the room smelled like a pub
Free WiFi does not work at the motel. The beds are hard as rocks. The door doesn’t stay shut. You have to put something in front of it or it’s going to bang all night. No air conditioning. The gap below the door is enough you can put your hand through it. It’s noisy. Everyone talking outside sounds like a party. The staff cleaning rooms and yelling across the property at 07:30am. The Bistro is highly overpriced. The only good thing I can say is it’s close to McDonald’s. Never staying here again.
The room is very dated, 60’s or 70’s, but in a prime location. Quiet though it is attached to the bar. Budget hotel and do its job. Easy check in and out. The toilet is noisy, and I had to close the doors, definitely need some work. Nice staff and service.
We stayed in a large room able to sleep 5. This is a budget hotel and we paid a great, low price. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable, particularly the beds. We were able to check in late (Spirit of Tasmania was very late). Only complaint was the water pressure in the shower.
The room was freezing. Middle of winter temperatures and they have a non-closing glass louvered window in the toilet - also you cannot shut the toilet room door. The air conditioner never worked and they supplied a tiny heater which did very little to help. The fact that the wind blew under the front door like a gale never helped. The room was dirty, cracks everywhere and totally disgusting. How they have the cheek to put people into these conspditions is a disgrace. Don’t even think about staying there!!!!
