Only stayed overnight, catching the Spirit the following morning. Room was comfortable and clean. Convenient access to off-street parking area from accomodation. Would stay here again. Fantastic location with views of the channel.

A very pleasant stay with our room located at the front of the establishment beside the dining room/cafe. Our hosts Danny and Sandy made us feel very welcome and we had lots of chats over the included breakfasts which were delicious a d set us up for our days spent at the rowing national championships at Lake Barrington. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed, but my partner was glad she brought her own hair dryer as one was not provided.

Good location, easy access to everything, close to davenport town. A very clean and comfortable room, good breakfast and very friendly owner/operators. My only small criticism would be that the room was not very sound proof.

What a terrific place to stay! Dannebrog is conveniently located, clean and secure but the real advantage of staying at Dannebrog is the owners. They could not have been more welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful. We booked at Dannebrog for an overnight stay before catching the Spirit of Tasmania ferry to Melbourne. As we would miss the breakfast due to the early departure of the ferry, Danny and Sally offered to provide a help yourself breakfast laid out in the Café. This was unexpected and customer service at its very best. Nothing was too much trouble for them as we discovered when my husband realized he’d left his jacket with mobile in the pocket in the room. We had already boarded the ferry and rang Sally who offered to drive down to the ferry terminal and pass it on to security. Amazingly we got the jacket and phone back before the ferry set sail all thanks to Sally going above and beyond. We can’t thank Sally enough and would highly recommend a stay at Dannebrog if you want the type of honest, down to earth customer service that is hard to find. We will definitely stay there again next time we’re in Devonport.
