Sebastians is an award winning 17th Century town centre Restaurant with Rooms. Mark Sebastian & Michelle Fisher have enjoyed welcoming their guests for over 28 years, who invariably return for the exceptional hospitality and comfort that is the "Sebastians Experience". There are six en-suite bedrooms, each with its own delightful character, with oak beams and brass or four-poster beds. All are individually furnished in keeping with the period of this historic building. Sebastians is renowned across Shropshire for its high standard, both in the cuisine it serves and intimate, informal surroundings. Guests can enjoy an aperitif by the log fire in the winter, or during the summer months outside on the terrace. Followed by a wonderful dining experience in the oak-panelled restaurant. The monthly-changing set price menu with choices takes you through five courses of well-crafted, French-inspired dishes.

We had a very warm welcome and lovely stay at Sebastian's. The rooms were well appointed, and coffee and tea facilities were available. The general ambience of the room and the breakfast restaurant was lovely. Breakfast was incredible, as should befit any top class hotel. I would definitely recommend to anyone. The owners went out of their way to help us with travel plans on our return home, and even called to check all was OK. Thank you.

Our family stayed for one night in two of the courtyard rooms on level one. Rooms are lovely, clean and cosy. Temple Spa products in the bathroom, the wife was impressed. The breakfast was fabulous with everything you can ask for. Gluten free options available. Lovely owners who are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when visiting family.

We arrived yesterday and stayed for 1 night, whilst on an e-bike ride around the border of Shropshire. This was a trip planned for August, but cancelled then, due to bad weather. Unfortunately, it rained all through yesterdays ride and we arrived tired, covered in mud, soaking wet and worried about what our hosts would make of us. We need not have worried, as Mark and Michelle are amazing hosts and they went out of their way to provide us with great accommodation, safe storage and charging for our bikes and drying facilities for our clothes and shoes. Mark even supplied me with a pair of new trainers to go out in for the evening! We'll certainly stay again, when next in the town, the room was lovely, as were the facilities, especially the shower. We didn't have time to sample the breakfast as, with more bad weather forecast for the next few days, we cancelled the ride and caught a train home. Thanks very much Mark and Michelle, unfinished business and a future stay beckons!…

Very comfortable room with lovely bed and linens. Good breakfast but the music wasn't to my taste. Owners were very helpful with recommendations for places to eat and knowledgeable regarding the local area. Would stay again. Arrive early (3pm check-in) to get parking space and ring ahead for directions to the carpark (behind hotel and entrance easily missed)

What a lovely place to stay, you can't fault Michelle and Mark for there hospitality, Michelle could not do enough for you, the rooms were spotless and little touches, like and extra flannel to just for makeup removal, what a lovely touch. The whole place is so welcoming. Breakfast was top notch also. Thank you for a lovely weekend stay ☺️

We stayed here as we needed to leave for Snowdonia early next morning. The hotel is very unassuming from the front and we almost missed it. But once you are inside, it is a totally different world altogether. Everything is impeccable, right from the rooms to the service and to the upkeep of the common areas. The rooms are absolutely clean and very well maintained. The garden is pleasant and exudes a calm and serene ambience. Mark and Michelle were just awesome as host. We felt at home immediately after meeting both of them. They really went out of their way to make sure that our stay is comfortable. And the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The choices and quality was really good. Definitely very highly recommended !

Had the absolute pleasure of an overnight visit. The room was spotlessly clean and airy. A cute little courtyard outside the room was lovely too. Breakfast was simply delicious, everything cooked to perfection and served piping hot! Plenty of parking on site. But the stand out part of the stay for me was the welcome I had. It was like returning to long lost family! Nothing was to much trouble and everyone was super helpful. Highly recommend
