We were very pleased with our room. Nicely decorated and arranged, comfortable, warm and a lovely view . They are taking great care and are not opperating at full capacity, we felt welcome and safe, guests have plenty of space to safely distance. Breakfast was pre ordered and delivered on time to the room, evening food is not yet available, but the owners did make us aware that we could order take away from the local pub, which we did and it was excellent. They arranged plates, cutlery etc in a safe space, which was positive. Theres a nice small Bar and a very generous sitting / lounge area. We were very pleased and will definately be back again

A welcome stop on the Pennine Way. We had read about it in our guide book and it did not disappoint. Very welcoming and fantastic Covid measures in place. Great food and coffee. Would highly recommend.

This was a first time visit to this little Gem of a place with a group of 12 of us. Some had stayed before, hence the return visit. Very clean, warm and cosy place to stay. Food and rooms very good, with lovely views of the countryside around. Log burner in the lounges and comfortable places to sit after a long days walk. Packed lunches available. Very friendly staff and owner. Excellent value for money. Ideal starting place for many walks, without having to use the car. Would really recommend for a quiet and peaceful stay.

My family enjoyed an excellent lunch stop here at the beginning of September. The soup platter was first class and generously provided. The quiche was equally delicious. The hotel serves Asahi beer (shame they stopped Kozel). Service prompt and attentive. An excellent venue.

Four of us went for a motorcycle ride round the dales and discovered this gem of a place. Amazing coffee and great breakfast. Will definitely take my wife there for a lunch or dinner. Staff so friendly and welcoming, great place!
