this was a very good hotel with great staff and good food rooms very good also parking at the back every thing that you wan,t.easy to get to the town centre.lots to see and do around the area the view from the hotel was great

I stayed in a single room as had a wedding to attend in Westgate and it was fine. A little dated and tired, but clean and had all the amenities I needed.
The breakfast was brilliant and the staff very nice.

Thanks for your review -and apologies that our single rooms are the last to be refurbished! We are getting to them - we're more than 2/3rds complete, but it's a bit like the Forth bridge, and tricky to take rooms out when we're so busy....More
Cannot fault the hotel. Ok maybe tired in places but this is more than made up for by the fantastic staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Check in is 3pm but they had the room ready for 1.30 for us. We stayed in one of...More
Very tired and tatty. Whole hotel needs a revamp. Bathroom had been recently done up but nothing else. Breakfast was very greasy and a bit tasteless. Disappointing.
On the plus side, it was a good location right on the seafront.

There are very few hotels in the whole country that allow smoking in rooms now. Some rooms facing the seafront have French doors instead of windows but no balcony to speak of, so if you did open it for a smoke, the smell... More
There are very few hotels in the whole country that allow smoking in rooms now. Some rooms facing the seafront have French doors instead of windows but no balcony to speak of, so if you did open it for a smoke, the smell would go back in the room and you'd end up with a cleaning charge.
