The hotel's rooms earn praise for their cleanliness and comfort, though the amenities are noted to be basic, with limited parking and free Wi-Fi. After a day spent travelling back to the UK we arrived at the Eastleigh Central Travelodge late evening for our one night stay prior to flying back home. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist who checked us nice and quickly. Ten minutes later we were next door (Wetherspoons) ordering our dinner. After a great nights sleep we had a good lie in as we had booked late check out. At around 10am I went to reception and spoke to Mandy who was very pleasant and most helpful in sorting out a taxi for the airport. Our room was comfortable and of a good size with a nice sized , fully functioning bathroom. We use Travelodge a lot for overnight stays when travelling and really don't think they can be beaten for value. The Eastleigh Central hotel is in a great location being a short drive from the airport and literally across the road from the train station. It also has Eastleigh town centre just around the corner and the previously mention Wetherspoons next door , which might not be to everyone's taste but gave us a reasonable and cheap dinner and breakfast whilst we were there.
Altogether we were most happy with our stay here - thanks Mandy.

I stayed here recently while visiting family living in the area. This is always my 'go to' place to stay and as always I wasnt disappointed. Mandy on the front desk was friendly and helpful as was another member of staff who I spoke to when checking out. My room was clean and well furnished with a very comfy bed and pillows 🙂 Location of this hotel is very central to the town with excellent links to rail and motorways as well as Southampton airport so is an ideal choice of a well priced hotel if wanting to visit or explore the local area.

Looked daunting from the outside and could use a lick of paint. Was met at the front desk by Leanne and was immediately put at ease by her lovely warm welcoming nature. Very helpful and knowledgable, exactly how a front desk supervisor should be. Leanne sorted some extra brew kit when I asked with nothing being too much trouble

The room was clean and spacious, I couldn’t fault it. The shower was amazing, hot and powerful, unfortunately it flooded the bathroom and it wasn’t nice to come out of the shower and then have to start mopping up the floor with your hand towel.

I would definitely stay here again, it really felt like the staff from the front desk to the room cleaners cared about their product/business.

I booked a twin room for two nights, despite the staff claiming I booked double room and they were doing me a favour giving me a twin room for a disabled person, but the room in would be more in place in a sanatorium. The twin beds were made for children or those vertically challenged being less than 29inches wide and less 20 inches off the floor. The bathroom smelt awful, having no trap in the shower waste to stop smells coming up from the soil pipe. The room was hot and stuffy, the electric fan was more for show than practicality. To avoid suffocation, the open window let in more noise than fresh air. Although the website might mention the hotel's location was loud, there is no mention that the hotel sits on a train station and in the flight path for Eastleigh airport, perhaps an ideal location for train or plane spotters. But utterly useless for those wanting a good night's sleep. The television the size of a postage stamp offered no relief from the outside noises. The website should advise guests to bring binoculars in order to get satisfactory use of the television. Despite the room being a twin, the beds were places together to hide the skanky carpet adorned with a huge tear!

The room was quite disgusting, noisy and suffocatiing, it was not what I had booked, the advice on parking is adhoc at best boarding even bordering on creativity, I had to drive around the town twice before finding a parking slot in a dodgy street. The staff were unsympathetic, not caring in the slightest and stated that the hotel was doing me a favour by giving me a twin room regardless of the condition!

Another trip to Eastleigh. Mandy gave us a room on the top floor overlooking the station which is exactly what we wanted. Top service as always.
This was the first time I'd used the shower gel in a Travelodge room because silly me, I forgot to bring my own. I was impressed, it was very nice and smelled really good.
The USB ports were handy to charge our phones, the beds were clean and comfy and the room smelled fresh and well aired.
Excellent as always.

My wife and I stay at this Travelodge in an accessible room on a regular basis as it is conveniently located for visiting our daughter and grandson in Netley. I assume also well situated for an overnight stay as close to the airport, although we have never used it for this reason.

There is a Wetherspoon pub immediately next to the hotel, which is convenient if pub grub is what you want. We always go to the Hursley Cafe for breakfast as the food is good and the service friendly. It's a short drive away.

There are two disabled bays to the rear of the hotel on a first come basis. Both bays were taken on our most recent visit, one by a van not displaying a blue badge, so that was frustrating. However, the lady on reception came up with a solution which meant that I was able to park close to rear entrance to the hotel without the risk of getting a parking ticket for unauthorised parking.

If you want budget accommodation in a clean comfortable room then this hotel fits the bill. There is a small amount of traffic noise from early morning in rooms at the front of the hotel but that didn't bother us.

We will be staying here again.

Good stay once again at Eastleigh Travelodge. The room was very warm but there was only a sheet on the bed with the duvet in a bag if needed. This was a good idea because I didn't fancy getting under a warm duvet and it made sleeping more comfortable A fan is also provided to keep the room cooler. The room was clean and tidy as always.
As usual the staff were friendly and very helpful. 10/10.

Me and my daughter were here on a 2 day trip to help my son and his ptnr move into there new flat, which is a stones throw from this hotel, we had room 110 and it was a twin room, it was big enough for our stay and was very clean & tidy. We had everything that we needed for our 2 days and could get more tea & coffee if we wanted. The room has a walk in shower with soap on the walls in containers there were clean towels as well. The receptionist Mandy was interested in my sons new place and told us about the town and places we could go to eat plus about the cinema which was very helpful. Before we left in the morning, I had to go back to my sons flat because I had left my coat there. It was pouring down and Mandy leant me her umbrella without me even asking. I thought that this was very kind and thoughtful of her. Thank you, I wish you well and we will be back again over Christmas if not before (:

I arrived at the hotel early and asked if I could check in early as I had loads of bags with me with moving to Eastleigh. Mandy the manager was so helpful and been someone who struggles with anxiety going to new places she really made me feel welcome. So close to shops and supermarket but also across the road from train station which is ideal with me working across the other side. Thanks mandy really appreciate it 🙂

Although rather soul-less the carpeting and good quality furnishings made this hotel room feel comfortable particularly with the spotlessly clean carpet which absorbs noise and gives a level of warmth and comfort. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great location for train station, car parking, shops and entertainment. I was pleased to be in a rear room of the hotel as the front faces the road and trains so suffers with noise from outside.

Only just saw the question! We travelled by rail so looking for a car park does not occur to us, sorry. The railway is directly opposite the hotel and if you have a front viewing window you can watch the trains from your window. Enjoyed our stay very much.
