Upon arrival we received a warm welcome from the owner who explained how everything worked and took our orders for breakfast the following morning. The room was spacious and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities, internet access, and ensuite with a good shower and fluffy towels. It was spotlessly clean. They allow visitors to have a takeaway meal in the dining room with use of a microwave, cutlery and glasses. You can also help yourself to fresh milk or use the fridge to store food. The breakfast was exceptionally good and apart from cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt there was a selection of cooked breakfasts available and ample servings of hot toast made with good quality bread. In all honesty, the breakfasts were better than we have had in some 5 star hotels. There is plenty of parking space and you are free to come and go as you wish. Nothing is too much trouble. We will certainly use Crestwell House again and would not hesitate recommending it to anyone.

Well, Eastleigh itself might not be the greatest place in the world; but this bed and breakfast is such a pleasant place. Such lovely, welcoming hosts; happy to provide me with breakfast at 645am on a Sunday, as I needed to leave by 7am. Nice clean shower room; couldn't fault the bedroom; they provide chilled water and milk for guests in a fridge downstairs. Recommended.

Visited in June 2012 for one night. Warm welcome from host, could not fault welcome and nothing too much trouble.
The reason I say it's not a 4 star is because of the bedroom facilities. Carpet was threadbare, not much wardrobe space.
Edging strips missing around shower, wooden toilet seat frayed on edge.
Breakfast ok, but have had better.
Don't get me wrong,it's still a great place to stay but not 4 star.

Spotlessly clean accommodation with very friendly hosts. Ideal for a night's stopover walking distance from the centre of Easlegh and the train station. Motorway links close by as well as Southampton airport. Was no en-suite with the room I stayed in but the toilet and bathroom was right next to the room. Excellent cooked breakfast. Key supplied for those staying out late. Overall excellent value.

Ken and Fran are excellent hosts who obviously care about the people who stay with them. They take an interest in their guests and are prepared to do that extra little thing to accommodate individual preferences. For example, I only drink Earl Grey Tea. As many B&Bs don't normally I have this I always have a teabag in my pocket for b'fast. Didn't say anything to them yet next morning there was EGT available - so impressed! This is just one small example of their superb customer focus. M&S food hall, Lidl and Sainsbury's within easy walking distance. Eastleigh rail station is just a couple of 100 metres away. This really is a gem of a find and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Very reasonably priced.

Great value B&B. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, my room was adequate for my needs, definitely clean and tidy. Free WiFi (that actually works!!!!) and parking. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and very tasty. No problems at all but if you have a big (wide) car beware that the driveway leading to the parking area is fairly narrow - not a problem, just a need to be careful.

Hello, I stayed at Crestwell House on my way bcak from Holiday and i really enjoyed my stay. The Owners Fran and Ken made me feel very welcome. The only downside is the traffic on the nearby road through the Night.

Very friendly and the room was large and clean, a huge breakfast to keep you going all day. The hosts cant do enough for you very accommodating. There is a fridge and micro wave for your use in the dining room which is very handy, The Crestwell is very well situated just a very short walk from the local town. I totally recommend this Guest House.

My fiance and I stayed here for an overnight stay en-route to Winchester after visiting friends in Poole for the day. We were going to be later than the check-in time and very kindly the owners told us that it was no problem as long as it was before 10pm, which was extremely generous of them.
The B&B itself was very clean and well presented, our room was a generous size and had all we needed for an overnight stay. The shower/bathroom was spotless, bed a little soft for our tastes but comfortable none-the-less after a long day!
Breakfast was delicious and they made sure there was gluten-free bread for my dietry needs. Fran and Ken were very friendly and gave us some helpful advice on visiting Winchester and also warned us of a local festival that might make our journey tricky.
We will definitely visit Crestwell House again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. Well worth it.
