Me and my husband had an amazing experience with this hotel. Friendly staff from the reception to the staff in the buffet area. Breakfast was okay buy lunch and dinner were fresh and always had a different menu to offer. Rooms is pretty basic but who needs a fancy room when you can stay in the sun by the pool the whole day, not to mention the fact that everything is unlimited food and drinks (non-alcoholic or alcoholic).

The staff are also following Covid regulations when it comes to wearing gloves and mask. Which is good for people who are extra careful like me.

This hotel also provide entertainment for all ages which offers different activities from sports to fitness. Though due to Covid the gym is closed (subject to changes if things get better, of course) thats why these outdoor activities was a perfect replacement for gym workout. The entertainment team made our stay even more fun. So big thanks to Veronika (Slovakian), Riccardo (Hungarian), Giovanni (Romanian), Natalie (Czechia), John Luca (Italian), and Georgia (Italian) for always having high energy to entertain us and other guests.

I’m definitely looking forward to coming back to this hotel. Efcharisto to everyone!

- Jill (from the Philippines)

The room was very comfortable and practical; very clean, well air conditioned and good showers. The cleaning lady often provided us with bottles water along with various toiletries. However, I've noticed that many rooms are very far from the pools and restaurants, so it may be a little difficult to navigate at first. The wifi was dodgy, yet surprisingly fast depending where around the resort you were.

The food was a 5/5. They provided lots of different types of dishes, which were very delicious and definitely healthier than any other buffet I've eaten at. For any pickier eaters, there were always chips, spaghetti, burgers, hotdogs and a lot of the time freshly made pizza. The bar usually contained leftovers from breakfast and lunch along with soft drinks and ice cream, but also had someone making toasties all day long and at noon sometimes gyros was served.

The entertainment was great. During the day, there was always aqua fit or yoga for adults and various activities for the kids club and teen club. The entirety of the animation team was friendly and sociable. Mini disco would start at 8:30, and it was a blast for all the kids.

The location was ideal, as it was incredibly close to central Hersonissos (where you could find various outlets and shops). I have to admit that the local beaches weren't great, but that might just be my opinion.

Overall, I would definitely recommend the resort to families with younger children, as I wouldn't see much of a point for couples.

Room was clean and we ended up with 2 bedrooms.(couple). It was great to have a bit extra space for suitcases etc. Room was serviced daily, coffee and water replenished daily, maid was very friendly and accommodating and would return as promised if we weren’t awake on her visit. Lots of pools and snack bar areas but depending on colour of your band determined which restaurant you could use. We managed to use both but same food was on offer anyway. I believe there was an a la carte but we did not use this, preferring to have majority of evening meals in koutalafari, old town or piskopiano where you will find beautiful old tavernas in a traditional setting. There is also a great Irish bar in piskopiano!
Pools were lovely and clean and our favourite was the top pool with its comfy sun beds. One criticism, this pool would be better as an adults only area as pool very deep and near the bar. Tiny tots safer to be in childrens pool area with parents who were not taking advantage of all day bar. Childress pool area bar opens at 6pm.
Food and drink were ok, a good enough choice even for picky eaters and as good as could be expected when catering for the masses.
View from all angles was beautiful.
All in all a great holiday, the hill approaching the hotel may be a problem if you have mobility issues, taxis always available which we made use of after a night out.

The food is really limited selection and very poor quality. It’s everything that gave all inclusive holidays a bad name in the 1990s. Every mealtime is predominantly the same with maybe 1 or 2 of the 10 dishes changed.
We ended up eating out every night after the first 2 nights as even the kids were complaining about the limited selection and lunch and dinner being the same.

Communal areas are generally dirty, often with overflowing bins, ashtrays and stains from spilled drinks and food on the floor.
I have seen the pool areas half heartedly cleaned most mornings with the staff throwing old drinks from the day before on the floor, then hosing them into the pool. Empty ‘glasses’ hosed under the sun beds so staff don’t need to pick them up.

You aren’t meant to reserve sun beds but of course everyone does and to get beds for our family together I have had to come down before 6am - which the staff are happy to hose down when they clean so your towels and anything else left here are soaked.

The pool areas are crammed with sun beds to try and get enough beds for everyone. The hotel feels like it has been extended a couple of times and the communal facilities are now not big enough for the number of rooms / guests.
Consequently you are on top of each other and we saw lots of incidents of people shouting and arguing as they moved beds to try and get in shade / out of shade / spilled other parties drinks.

Very few of the staff seem happy and keen to give you a good holiday. Customer service is downright poor. Most appear grumpy, unhappy and the odd one even downright rude on occasion.

I complained about the selection and quality of the food to the buffet ‘manager’ who told me everyone else was happy with it but several other Brit’s I spoke with were also hugely disappointed with it. This eventually led to a meeting with the hotel manager Mr Pantolonis. He failed to turn up to 2 appointments his team made which I think speaks volumes about the hotels attitude to its guests.

Final icing on the cake was after being told we had a late check out we then got told the room was needed for other guests.

From my experience here, If you are looking at this hotel I’d suggest keep looking and find somewhere else.

We have been out and about and found some great beaches and beautiful areas of Crete near to the hotel and will probably come back to Crete. There is just no chance at all we would come back to this hotel.

They charge for towels€1, safe €2.50and juice€3 in the morning definitely NOT an all inclusive cheapest food and alcohol un drinkable and edible. No vegetarian food even the mash and rice had tiny pieces of ham chopped into it and wasn’t labelled meat in fact the labels were a joke.we had a room that was a lot smaller than the one booked and was told we could change but it was down in a basement with views of a mud wall instead of the sea that we paid for. We started with a sheet and quilt on the bed but never got the sheet again and for 5 adults we had 1 dressing gown and 1 pair of slippers which went on the second day too. The room was not clean well there was marks over the bathroom the whole time never wiped, the bedding never got changed in the 10 days we were there. The wardrobe is a joke for upto 6 people we had to live out of our suitcases.
The public areas were clean and tidy
The reception staff and restaurant manager was very very rude.
The stairs were a joke thousands everywhere very steep and the walk to the beach / shops nearly killed me as I have asthma and had to pay €8 just to get back to the hotel
The pools were all too deep and the only section that you could stand in you was told to get out of 3 times a day 3 hours so they could do water Arobics and water polo
This was not a cheap hotel but they tried to charge more of anything they could I would not recommend it to anyone

On arrival we went to a reception which was closed and we got redirected to another reception. Check in was done fairly quickly and a porter took us by car to our room. We quickly checked out the room and headed down for lunch before service ended. We hadn't realised that the hotel had two restaurants, so we went to one we'd seen when we'd checked in. On arrival we got told we could eat there today but in future to dine in the other restaurant. I'm assuming this is for number control, but we hadn't been told where to dine when checking in.
The room was spacious and clean. It had a fridge with a little freezer. The TV only showed BBC news. It had a little hifi but we didn't have a USB to be able to use it. The air con was good, but only worked when the card was in. However, a useful hack is that any card placed in the slot will work, but as it cooled the room quickly we didn't feel the need to do this and waste energy. The patio was HUGE and the ones beneath even bigger to the point they seem pointless they were that big. Maybe if you had children running around the space would make sense. The rooms and hotel were quiet and peaceful and we had a sea view. There wasn't a "do not disturb" sign, so they housekeepers came in each day. We had a kettle to make tea and coffee and bottled water was provided each day along with clean towels.
The food was good really what you would expect of an AI, but we ate out most nights and day times.
The wine was terrible and I mean terrible. Beer ok.
The pools were very busy and we never had any luck getting a sunbed but if you went down early enough (9am) then you'd be fine. Pools looked great and the one we tried was very warm.
Staff seemed friendly too.
All in all I think this is a nice hotel - it was very busy, so if you don't like busy, then maybe this hotel is for you. If you have children, it was in a good location and the entertainment looked great
The hotel is up a hill and if you have any mobility issues, I'd probably not advise this hotel. However, it did mean we didn't have noise n the room we had.
Towels for the pool require a 20 euro deposit which I thought was quite steep. However, they are only 5 euro to buy from the shop in the hotel.
Would I come back to this hotel? Yes if I had young children. No - as I'd probably prefer a smaller hotel closer to the small villages or had any mobility issues.

I’m going to start off with the good. It’s a beautiful, well presented & clean hotel. The room we stayed in was spacious & cleaned every single day. Food was nice & we never ate the same meal twice. The gyros from the snack bar during the day are lovely although there’s always a long queue for them. Staff were lovely in the restaurant & special mention to guy who greets you at the bottom on the stairs, he was always so welcoming and happy! Other staff members - bar staff can be a little rude & the reception staff are the rudest I’ve ever met, I’ll come back to that. We enjoyed the animation shows especially the magic show & men v women show was hilarious.
Now the not so good… It’s worth me mentioning that prior to arriving we had upgraded from a standard to superior room, which we were informed by the hotel we’d pay the extra on arrival. We arrived late & it wasn’t at all busy. The reception staff seemed okay, not particularly welcoming but I shrugged that off. After we’d checked in and they gave our key I was waiting for them to ask me to pay for this upgrade, but they didn’t, so I mentioned about us booking an upgrade & the guy sternly said “this is room you booked!” His attitude made me feel like I couldn’t question it so I just accepted it. I assumed when I got to the room that it was a standard. However, on checkout the equally moody receptionist informed me I must pay for my upgrade to which I told her I didn’t think I’d gotten an upgrade. She acted as though I was trying to fleece them out of money “you must pay you stayed in superior room” she then spoke in Greek to someone about me whilst eyeballing me. I got the impression they think people are out to scam them. I paid the owed amount and got out of there. Another point I’d like to make is if you’ve got a late return flight there’s a lack of showers, you have to book a time slot, but if the people before you take longer than their slot, well it’s tough, you’ll be travelling home feeling dirty and having to get changed in a toilet cubicle like I did. Lastly, whilst we were there, a little 6 year old girl went missing from her room. The poor mother was beside herself, it was starting to get dark, the animators announced about a little girl going missing before carrying on with the show. Us & lots of other holiday makers got up and began searching for her. The staff knew this was happening, I saw no staff helping to look. The girl was found eventually, no thanks to the hotel.
So as lovely as I found this holiday overall, the vibes at check in/out & the total lack of care for a missing 6 year old left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Just got back from 10 days here, we really did have the best time. however, if you get given a black band you are in the more run down side of the hotel. The cleaner only replaced towels and bedding, I don't think she actually cleaned anything. There is also a ridiculous hill in and out of the hotel. me and my partner are fit and well and we really did struggle with this hill. The animators do really try there best to get everyone included, evening entertainment is ok but nothing special. Also at the bars ask for a 'large' and you will get the bigger cups! Food is very hit and miss. me and my partner both loved the Gyros and the snack bar, we ate here everyday as the restaurants aren't anything special, it is also like animals in a zoo trying to fight your way through everyone. apart from the food and the hill, there isn't really anything to complain about. There was also plenty of sunbeds, we were going to the pool around mid day and they were plenty of sunbeds to choose from. The pools are also salt water (which is ok till you get a mouthful of it!) Fantastic for families or if you aren't one for venturing out the hotel (Unless the hill doesn't faze you!) Would definitely recommend!

We came with mixed feelings due to people unhelpful opinions and unhelpful reviews but we could not of been more pleasantly surprised! we went in the first week of August and expected huge queues and lack of food but this was so far from the truth, there was more than enough space, no queues except for the gorgeous Giros! everything was spotless and cobstantly refilled.
Help yourself wine/beer and ice cream was amazing! (hic) the food was varied but not so much for the children, themed nights were good especially the Asian night.
All the staff were friendly, polite and always happy in theor jobs and worked damn hard to please all of us holiday makers.
The pools were lovely although sunbeds had to be reserved by 6.30am.
The rooms were cleaned daily and lots of toiletries and bottled water supplied even a packed lunch can be reserved at reception for any outings you have booked.

I am 5 weeks on and still in holiday mourning, the best holiday for a family, we are 2 adults and 4 teenagers from 18 down to 13 and they loved it even thought he night time entertainment was awful!!! we left the hotel and went go karting and shopping instead!

The hotel is set approximately 25 minutes away from the airport so perfect for those wanting a short transfer time. The hotel is set in a very good location within walking distance of bars, restaurants and the beach. The complex is very big. The room was spacious for a family of 3 and cleaned daily.

We experienced thunderstorms on our first day and thankfully the hotel has plenty of pool tables dotted around along with an indoor pool, albeit it was freezing.

There are 4 spacious swimming pools but I found them salty, very deep and only 1 pool was suitable for my 5-year old. Sadly most of the sun beds were taken by the early risers who annoyingly felt the need to place towels down at some godly hour. The booking also suggested that beach towels would be provided. What they failed to mention was that you have to hire them each day for 1Euro per towel.

The animation team are friendly and my LO enjoyed the mini-disco.

Regrettably I don’t have anything else positive to say about the hotel. The food choice was very limited, tasteless and repetitive which resulted in us eating out quite a few times to avoid a disappointing holiday. The snack bars are no better with a 50 minute queue time for a gyros. The drink choices were also limited and often felt watered down. We are not big drinkers but this really was disappointing with no option of Prosecco without having to pay for it.

The al La carte restaurant books up fast so I would book this soon after arrival, as you really will appreciate the change. We informed the waitresses of our dietary requirements (we don’t eat beef for religious reasons) and despite this the food arrived with a beef option which was very annoying considering they only book limited tables on the night in any event and the waitress simply responded by shrugging her shoulders. The wine was also watered down.

During the week’s stay, we only ever witnessed one external entertainment night. The animation team really do their best but having a music quiz twice during a week’s visit and a make shift disco night really was disappointing.

Overall I would not recommend this hotel.
