Guests have called out Aloft Columbus Easton for its serene and well-appointed rooms, noting the modern amenities and cleanliness, though some have experienced booking inaccuracies. The hotel's cleanliness and modern facilities receive high marks, as does the range of amenities, with its high-end steakhouse and pool being particular highlights.
The atmosphere is considered modern and energetic, and while some guests mention noise, the service is often described as exceptional. Its location is praised for convenience and pet-friendliness, but there are concerns regarding security and billing that affect its perceived value.

Detailed Reviews
Took my girls for a quick getaway for spring break and the hotel was very nice. It is a brand new hotel and while I know that it is very difficult to find help these days, I feel that the hotel was a little understaffed. There were multiple guests checking in after me who’s rooms hadn’t been cleaned yet. The building is gorgeous and very conveniently located (we literally walked EVERYWHERE) but there were some little things that I think would’ve made our stay that much better. The lobby is very well themed but there were crumbs all over the floor presumably from guests eating at the tables. Having someone available to keep up the cleaning in there would’ve been nice as that was something that caught my eye right away. Also our bedding was VERY wrinkled, I hadn’t planned on writing a review or else I would’ve taken pics of the bed. The one bed had what looked like tire tracks on the fitted sheet, my girls just slept on top of the flat sheet. Also the table had some spots on there like someone may have spilled a drink...we just cleaned it up. As I stated before i think they were understaffed, I’ve worked in housekeeping before so I get it but for what the hotel was going for which is a sleek, minimalist modern boutique hotel it missed the mark by just a little. Just a few touches would’ve made our stay perfect! That being said I will absolutely stay here again as I think all of the “kinks” will be worked out by summer. A bonus for me was that they allowed us to have a late check out which made our getaway feel like an actual vacation. I can’t wait to see the improvements that will be made by summer! I do recommend giving this place a try ☺️. Also the entire staff were very nice and welcoming.

The Aloft brand has taken hotel vacations to a whole new level. Starting from the open plan reception, bar and business space to the on trend room decor. Downstairs the oasis is on guest enjoyment. There is a spacious bar, games area and lounge seating. The reception desk is small and unobtrusive. The rooms are small but classy. They have moved away from the traditional decor, instead having a large screen tv mounted to the wall. There is no wardrobe or chest of draws, just a open plan hanging space and small bar fridge, with a large chest for storage. The decor is trendy, the bed s little soft but the overall look is impressive. Where they lose points is that they are trying to be too trendy. Instead of an iron they have a steamer which is probably the most frustrating snd useless tool I have used. Get rid of them snd go the plain garden variety iron and board snd save your guests and staff the frustration.
It’s worth mentioning that this hotel is located amongst restaurants, shops and the cinema, all in walking distance. They also gave free undercover parking.

My family and I just spent one night while passing through the Columbus area. Overall from start to end, our stay couldn’t of gotten any better!!!!
Let me first start off and say that the staff member here were beyond amazing. Every single person I encountered was so friendly, and made sure our stay was the best it could possibly be.
When we checked in, Romanoff at the front desk gave us unbelievable customer service!! He gave us two stunning king rooms up on the 5th floor overlooking the Easton town center. (Rooms 507 and 509)
The beds in both the rooms were extremely comfortable!! I got the best night’s sleep in the bed.
For a hotel that is only 6 months old, there was no “new car smell” or new construction smell in any part of the hotel. Those smells typically affect my allergies, but I had no issues as far as smells or odors at this hotel.
I without a doubt would stay here again and again on my future stays to Columbus!!!

Traveled to Columbus for a little Spring break getaway with my teen daughters. We were excited to try out the new Aloft hotel near Easton Town Center. We were given our room earlier than check in at 1:30 which was nice. When we arrived in our room we immediately noticed the door handle on the bathroom door was broken, it was hanging on by 1 screw. By the end of our 2 night stay the door handle was completely off of both screws. Our room had 4 windows with automatic blinds that go up and down by the push of a button which is cool. One of our blinds was broke and wouldn't go up or down. There is hardly any storage for clothes. There is a very small 2 drawer dresser and that's it, there's nowhere to put anything away. I stopped by the front desk to ask for more shampoo, conditioner & body wash & the clerk couldn't find any to give me. She wrote a note and said she'd give it to someone else & they would be right up to our room with the items. The items never arrived. I tried to call the front desk but there is no front desk or housekeeping button on the room phone. I had to stop back at the front desk the next day to ask again and was finally given the shampoo, conditioner & body wash. The shower has very low water pressure. Our stay was ok but the broken items in the room, the lack of storage in the room and the lack of customer service will have us looking to stay somewhere else next time we're in Columbus.

I have a mixed review of this hotel. The facilities are just a year old. The location is excellent (near plenty of restaurants and shopping.) The staff is friendly. The bar is excellent and a few nights per week, the small restaurant has excellent pizza.
However, I find a few things lacking. For whatever reason, this hotel tends to be noisy at night, sometimes generate by the staff who forget they run at hotel, not a nightclub. Many guests say they have to put on the room air/heat fan to drown out the noise from the street or the music the staff is cranking on the outside speakers and lobby.
The breakfast menu is "hip" but not tasty. Guests have to go to the front desk to order one of only a few items available. No acceptable.
My last visit in October 2022 included these mishaps: 1) having a room on the top floor with a thermostat but no air/heater installed in the room (what???); 2) two maintenance issues I called in before 8 AM were not handled (nor was a message given to me as to why) when I returned to the room that night.; and 3) not all electric outlets work in all rooms (I experienced this on several of my visits.)
Again, I have mixed feelings on this review. I can see why some people would love to stay at Aloft yet it has been the source of frustration for me far more often than a new hotel should be.
Next week, I have opted NOT to stay at this location but will go to another Marriott property and prevent getting frustrated again.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to give us feedback...That is how we get better! I apologize that we failed to handle your concerns while you were here, that is not usual. We have the capability to put the air on a manual setting, bypassing the "green" initiative. The outside noise that you here is not from this hotel, but from across the street. We can block you in an even numbered room next time. Finally, outlet problems are not usual here. Again, I am sorry we did not do quick fixes for these issues.

Visit this new hotel on its grand opening day. Had no idea but I had booked at the wrong location but Haley at the front desk took care of us and was very happy to help with the cancellation at the other location. Then informed us it was opening day for them.. It was also my boyfriend’s birthday so he was even more excited to stay at a brand new hotel no one else had used the room yet. They had a open bar until 12am that nite so we continued to celebrate. The Bartender J.P was great he gave us great service and was great with other guest that came to the bar after us. We enjoyed this hotel a lot we will return to stay and also just to come visit the bar!!!😃

This hotel is acting like it’s still in the middle of the pandemic. Extremely poor room care—had to ask multiple times to have my room cleaned—and they don’t do it unless you ask. Lobby was very dirty and stains on the concrete floor until I brought it to their attention. Microwave had dried food in it for 3 days—and they only reason they cleaned it was because I complained. Breakfast was a horrible experience—mainly because the guy “cooking” could only do one item at a time so he was really slow and had a very poor attitude. He also stopped serving breakfast if he had to provide refreshments to a conference room. One day they couldn’t do breakfast because the cook didn’t show up for work.
Only bright spot were a couple people at the front desk—especially LeMair—he was very attentive and was really good in the customer facing roll.

The bathroom shower door needs repair. Trash found behind the storage cube. Our room was on the main thoroughfare that experienced cars riding through playing loud music late at night. Staff accomodations better than the room.

No. The elevators were good. There was a problem with the elevator originally but the host took us to the service elevator while it was under repair. Everything breaks at some point. Not holding this against the hotel. It was nice that they were courteous to allow us to use the service elevator instead of making us use the stairs.
