The best part about this hotel is the people working there. I was blown away by the hospitality of the men in the lobby, especially the one who was working with the coffee! He over heard me and boyfriend talking about coffee as we were leaving and they had already put away the co

My wife and I stayed overnight for a concert. The room was just fine and the staff was great. My wife arrived prior to me with our luggage and actually had someone help her to the room. Though there was no continental breakfast there was hot coffee and if you need breakfast Par

This hotel was an ideal choice for me, my spouse, and our pet for an over holiday stay.

The staff was wonderful. In particular, Tyra, who checked us in, and Jordan, who helped us during the stay, both exceeded expectations and deserve special recognition for the service they pro

The hotel is well-located in a nice building with a very attractive exterior. Inside though it feels much more like an Aloft than a Kimpton. Rather cheap and not particularly attractive. Our room was good size, but lighting was terrible--no bedside reading lights for example. The

Dear myview78, Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your feedback. I am so sorry to hear about the water issue. This is not something that has happened before and I really appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Our team is investigating what happened. Thank you for your lovely comments about the employees. Sincerely, Tristan Haas Assistant General Manager - The Kimpton Schofield Hotel

From the stylish touches, the fireplace, blankets, coffee and wine to the most welcoming, attentive and accommodating staff, The Schofield is pleasure. Their "dogs allowed" policy says it all. Although we didn't bring ours on this trip, the friendliness is obvious.

Is there a close spot to walk my dog?
There are minimal places within 50-100 yards. There are a few city tree/plant beds or grass strips nearby (many have signs that say no pets) for emergencies/quick potty trips, but to get to a decent, pet-friendly green space, you have to walk a few blocks away. Nothing is terribly far away, but sometimes in the winter cold, it's farther than you'd like to walk. Can't say enough positive things about the hotel itself and its accommodations for pets. Our dog was pampered during our stay and we never felt like a burden to other guests.

How much is onsite parking? If we valet do we need to inform the hotel before arriving?
Take a look at the Toss Us the Keys special offer. It saves you $16/night for the same wonderful service.

Valet parking was 30 dollars a night...and no you don't need to inform the hotel prior, but they have limited space in front of the hotel, so beware!
