This property is in a great proximity to the Beach, coffee shops, places to dine etc. The rooms are maintained in a very high level of cleanliness and nothing is too much trouble from resident managers.
The site having pool, spa & Tennis court adds to the overall experience but noting can beat the commanding ocean views from your apartment looking from Moloolaba to Maroochydore.

We enjoyed our recent stay. The views were spectacular, and nice and quiet at nite. Plenty of nice coffee and eating places close by. Balcony was a little cramped with 4 adults, but we managed. Beds and linen were nice. I’m quite surprised (with the rate charged per nite) that we were only allocated a tiny soap per bathroom for a 5 nite stay, any extra would be charged. Also there were only enough tea , coffee and dish washing detergent for one nite….any extra would be charged. The office was locked when we arrived around 3.30 , along with the front door…..lucky another guest let us in or we wouldn’t have known what to do as we had no instructions from them.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room had all the amenities we needed however we felt that some updating of the decor would be a big advantage. Other than that we had a marvellous stay. Staff were friendly and the underground car park was easy to negotiate in and out.

The location is great. Literally a one minute walk to the beach and the Cotton Tree shops cafes and the surf club a 5 minute walk, and a few cafes just across the road. The location is ideal (unlike many buildings) in that the main road is behind the building so from your balcony and living room, you can enjoy the view and not be bothered by road noise. This building is run along the same lines as most buildings on the Sunshine and Gold Coast whereby apartments are individually owned. Therefore it is always lucky dip whether you get a well maintained or renovated apartment. I have never liked this arrangement. The building is advertised as 4 star and it may be that some apartments meet that, but the common area does not and the apartment (31) we got did not. I would prefer the apartments were priced according to their current standard. I don’t see how owners are motivated to upgrade their apartment if they all get the same cut. Room 31 seems to be a common sized one bedroom apartment in this building and it is very spacious and with a huge kitchen, dining space and separate laundry. The kitchen has been half renovated, while the bathroom is still back in the 1980’s, right down to the shower head and hair dryer. I would not book the Eloura again, knowing I could get a similar apartment again.

Coldest week on the coast and both reverse cycle heaters in our apartment weren't working. We called reception 3 times over 4 hours before finally someone delivered a Kmart $14 blow heater to our room. I never leave negative feedback as we are also in hospitality but could have been a bit more understanding.

The view is fabulous, but the decor and upkeep of our particular unit wasn't great! No air-conditioning in the bedrooms which are on the WESTERN side of the building and even worse, NO insect screens at all! If you want to cook make sure you take the things you will need as the basic utensils are there but they are old and very basic. The main bedroom door was very, very difficult to open once shut, which raised a safety issue with us, and the other bedroom door wouldn't close due to previous damage/age. Bathrooms have no anti-slip rails and are look to be the same tiles/fittings that were put in when the building was first built. The white towels were clean & fluffy although one was worn/torn and should never have been in the bathroom. Overall, the view saves this place from getting a one-star rating but I'm certain there are much nicer apartments in the same area for the same price if not less.
The saving grace here were the beds. Very comfortable!

Although the room and view were great I was very disappointed to find that a day before check out the staff cleaned out the apartment thinking we had checked out?! Why would all our clothes still be there if we had? When I talked to the manager by phone she actually told me I was lucky the apartment hadn't been rented out and we could stay there again for the night. Hello? That's what I actually paid for!
I was also told all the food had been thrown out then later that evening she rang to tell me the cleaners had put the food in their fridge and she had returned it to the apartment while we were out, along with all the alcohol we had in the apartment! I have never experienced a situation like this and am writing this to warn people. I will never stay at Elouera Tower again.

The website claimed that the property was close to shops and restaurants. The situation was not close to anything except a couple of restaurants and a bakery which was very nice. There were no maps available to local eateries, shops etc.
While the apartment was clean, it was very tired. There was nothing left in it (apart from one small packet of laundry powder and the smallest bottle of milk in the world! ) Had to buy my own dishwashing liquid, laundry powder, and rubbish bags.
The rubbish room was on the ground floor and we were asked to dispose of all rubbish prior to departure or we would be charged $100!
The whole time I was there the swipe card for after hours access at the front entrance did not work so had to walk a few yards down the street (in the dark) to access the back entrance. Not ideal.
There was no information available on local attractions, trips, activities. The receptionists were not helpful when asking for advice as to how to get to places, how to call a taxi (my NZ mobile would not work on the local number). Fortunately I have an Uber app so used Ubers which were great.
The pool was closed for a day (without notice).
Wifi was intermittent and not reliable at all.
I had a wonderful time on my break but that was due to my pre-planning prior to the trip.

I would not recommend this property.
Jane

While location couldnt be better (close to beach & coffee shops) and view was great - the apartment was tired & needed a good paint.
Brown carpets in the bedrooms looked like they were installed in the 80's, the decor must have come from a local op shop & the bathroom looks just like my nans.

On the up side, the BBQ area and swimming pool looked modern and clean.

We had a great stay at Elouera Towers. Location is excellent - close to Cotton Tree Shops and just over the road from the beach. Our unit had everything we needed, including air conditioning in living area and both bedrooms. Looking forward to returning.

We did not have a spa in our bathroom, so not all rooms must have one, you would have to ask when booking. There is a spa room on ground floor level and a private pool.

Is the parking undercover at Elouera Towers? We would preferr that.

Parking is undercover although be aware that some spots are small. You will be ok with most cars but a big 4WD might have a few issues with turning room and getting into the parking bay.
