Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a medium slab site with gravel surrounds. Very clean. Water and power points were quite new and very functional. Large park with little shade. Amenities were older and basic but functional. The swimming pool was welcome (but chilly!) on a warm July day. The laundry was in great demand, with queues of washing baskets waiting their turn. Not a lot of community focus. Overall, safe, clean and functional.

We phoned and booked 2 adjacent ensuite sites in the morning of the day we were going to arrive with no issues. On arrival we extended our stay by 1 extra night, no issue.

The ensuites were spacious and clean. The shower was great with good pressure. There is a sign that states the ensuites are not serviced during your stay and to contact reception if you need anything.

We used the East amenities building laundry, it was clean, machines operated by card. If you want to use coins you need to use the other amenities block.

No lawn area to chill out, just the shade from your awning. Sites would be muddy with a small amount of rain, lucky to have the concrete slab and path to the ensuite.

We booked a site with an ensuite - so pleased we did as it was cold and wet which gave us the comfort of our own bathroom. They had a restaurant on site which we went to for dinner however, the staff were friendly and service quick given it was a busy Saturday night. The food wasn't so good but they had live country music and an old fella was playing the spoons which was fun. There were a few brolgas walking around which I followed over to a billabong behind the park. Staff were friendly and very organised on our arrival - it was a busy park.

We stayed 4 nights at the park. It was extremely full. The huge rains occurred while we were there. The staff were extremely helpful and considerate in assisting us to move to a dryer location in the park. The facilities were kept as clean as they could considering there was red mud everywhere

We all stayed in there family cabins and Wow, there certainly offered more than I thought they might. The park itself is so big; offering cabins, van and camping sites. All amenities were very very clean and there laundry facilities are all smart laundries - so you can pay by card or coins, helpful when you don't carry coins. They also have a steakhouse restaurant on-site that caters for all tastes and not to expensive either. They also make some delicious desserts, which you can takeaway along with other meal items back to your sites. Friendly and helpful staff, who are keen to please. Close to places to visit like Qantas Founders Museum and the Stock man's hall of fame. A definite place to stay for the whole family...

We had a powered ensuite site. This is a big park, very clean with good sized, level sites with cement pads on red crushed gravelly rock. Onsite restaurant (we didn't try it, but looked very nice). Good amount of bins. Clean general amenities and our ensuite was a good size and well appointed. Short drive (or if you are energetic an okay walk) to the Qantas Founders Museum and Stockman's Hall of Fame. Also a pick-up point for the Outback Pioneers Riverboat Cruise (wonderful). Treat was the 3 brolgas that walked though the part in the morning and afternoon and the stunning sunrises and sunsets. Towards the road there is currently a big grassy open area that was visited by emus and kangaroos during our stay. Only very slight distraction was that it is well lit at night, maybe some domes that focus the light on the ground would be great.

Spent two nights at the park. We didn’t have dinner at their restaurant but the butcher had some lovely meat we cooked up ourselves - not at the camp kitchen or bbq’s!
The park itself is the biggest I have ever stayed and the amenities matched! They were clean and adequate but a little TLC wouldn’t go astray! Our site had concrete pad which was great. The laundry was good and credit card operated and although we had no problems early I don’t know if you might have trouble getting a machine. The lines were pretty busy.
Pool looked nice but was having maintenance.
The stockman hall of fame and Qantas were about a 15 minute walk give or take, depending on what end of the park you are!

• Stayed in chalet a few times for work
• Well located on the outer part of town, making it quieter but still a short drive to all amenities of town – loved the early morning sunrise walk along the footpath to the museums
• Woolshed bar & grill: absolutely delicious grilled barramundi with coleslaw – highly recommended
• Ensuite was very tight – good water pressure & temperature – towels could do with replacing (bath towel, bath mat & hand towel provided)
• Comfortable queen size bed with full kitchen & small desk – a bit awkward to work at but manageable

We stayed here a couple of times. Staff were friendly at check-in although there was a bit of a line up. We had pre-booked months prior to be positioned next to our fellow van travellers at particular shady and grassed van sites which didn’t occur and we ended up with no shade and in the dust. No drain for grey water (it simply drains out under the van). Laundry was clean - $4 per washing load – dryer was out of order. Bathroom amenities were spotless. Due to the dust and lack of shade, we’ll try somewhere else next time.

We stayed during April school holidays for 4 nights. ($35/night) We didn't need to book - heaps of sites available. Maybe just check to see if there are any big events in town (campdraft etc) and a phone call doesn't hurt. They don't require a deposit.
Answer from Ken S

Yes they have a disabled shower room in one of the amenities blocks and they also have two disabled en-suite sites and the en-suites are really generous in size. We had one during our stay and I can highly recommend the en-suites. If you just want the disabled shower room make sure you ask at reception to be located near that amenity block. Jenny and Grant (the managers) are very helpful.
