Friendly, extremely helpful owners and staff. Went out of their way to accommodate us. Will definitely stay here again. Had everything we could ever want in a motel.
Car park right outside door, clean rooms, door on the shower (none of those half door things that we have been seeing all over North Queensland that spill water out all over the bathroom floor). Everything we need to cook our own food, and close to shops if need to buy. Great size room too, with good size kitchen bins, sink and with very efficient air con.
Country relaxed style. Awesome value for money. Simple old style motel like they used to be, with great customer service.

Rating this 3 star motel with 3 star expectations and no more. As a 3 star motel, the accommodation met our expectations. The gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful. Our family room was large, spacious and had a well appointed kitchen. However, I would like to mention that there was hair on the bedsheet under my pillow.
The motel looks a little dated. The garden, driveway and carpark needed some weeding.
If you overlook these things, and just need a bed to tie you over until the morning so you can be on your way to your destination, then this motel will meet your needs.

Jim was really helpful. Room is large and very comfy. Only slight issue is the main road can get a little noisy but not until the morning. I'd stay here again. Jim will give you a microwave, cutlery and crockery if needed.

It's an old motel on the main street/highway in Innisfail. But, the rooms are clean and surprisingly quiet considering the location. Walking distance to local hotels and a small mall. Recommended for location and the service of the manager.

A great motel to stop at on our travels down the east coast. Clean and spacious with milk and water waiting on our arrival, the wonderful host even upgraded our room. Extremely friendly staff, would definitely stay again!

I recently stayed 2 nights at the Moondarra Hotel on a work visit to Innisfail. Having not spent much time in Innisfail previously, this motel was in the perfect location to explore the city. Close to the main street (Edith Street), restaurants and the Esplanade with a McDonald's directly across the road and the Crown Hotel less than 50m away, there are plenty options for dining/recreation. There is also Coles and IGA supermarkets 1 block away. The rooms were very clean with fresh sheets and comfortable beds and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Also provided free of charge is wifi and pay TV (an added bonus!). I'll definately be using this motel the next time i head to innisfail.

I stay here when I head to Innisfail for work and need a nights sleep. Rooms are basic but very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. Situated on the highway, across the road from 24hrs McDonalds other food places and bars. If you need a nights rest when passing thorough or a quick nights stop for work. you can't go wrong with staying here.

Forced to overnight in Innisfail because the police cloed the Bruce Hwy, to Cairns, we stumbled on the Moondarra. The room was clean, the bed was good. The bathroom was also clean. Simple but good value describes the accommodation. It helped at the time that there is an all night macDonalds close by and also a popular pub just around the corner.

Our expectations were not high when we saw the motel. It looks like it is in pretty bad shape from the outside. Once we checked in and saw our room, we were happy with the accommodation. The room was clean. What more could we ask for. The air con wasn’t fantastic but it kept the room comfortable. There isn’t a lot of choices of hotel/motels in Innisfail. We would love to have a 4 star accommodation, but that isn’t an option. This place suited our needs and for that we are grateful.

Moondarra is close to everything in town in Innisfail, in walking distance of two supermarkets and the main street. The staff are welcoming and very thoughtful. When I arrived, I had been upgraded to a family room and they had already turned the air conditioning on for me! The room is spacious, clean, and well-organised. The female staff member who greeted me even gave me a hand with my suitcases. This motel represents great value.
