Detailed Reviews
Tropical lodge was a great respite from camping in the rain. The manager does a great job. The place is clean, well maintained & the guests are a friendly bunch.
Innisfail is a nice town with great seafood & a great little deli/coffee shop in Oliveri's. The town's hinterland offers lots for nature lovers too.
I'll definitely be back.

Me and my wife stayed here for 1
night on our way back to burradoo from FNQ. The owner was friendly & very helpful, although it is an older style motel, it was clean & comfortable. The TV could get all the national channels, the wi-fi was fast & all the facilities worked. Not being on the Bruce highway made it very guite during the night. It also has a separate laundry & kitchen separate from the rooms if needed. We were completely happy with our stay,we will stay here if we ever pass this way again.

So clean, great facilities and areas to cook and relax. Tammy and her team are warm and welcoming making this a pleasant place to lay your head. If you're travelling and looking for accomodation in Innisfail I recommend you give them your custom, you won't regret it. 👍

having read these reviews, i booked this hotel for the night attending a party in Innisfail. We had travelled from Cairns. The hostess, charming and polite could not see that i had already paid via bokings.com. they showed us the most ghastly of rooms, not. resembling ANY of the photos shown. THere was a snoker table and tv outside the room, tv was blaring, so no chance of any peace. More bag packers than a hotel. I said we couldnt accept this room, no other was offered, I will now try to get my money returned. Not hopeful.

After having travelled a lot around Australia, the Innisfail Accomodation Center is definitively the better hotel-backpacker hostel we've ever slept. The price is just nothing in front of all this completely rebuild place can offer you : very clean rooms with television and fridge, shared spaces as a functional and highly equipped kitchen, and clean showers. We have to add that we were welcomed so kindly by the owner.
We arrived here for one night, we finally stayed 3.

I recently stayed here for two weeks and can only speak highly of the the management and their attentiveness to their guests.
it appears the whole place has recently been completely refurnished. I stayed in one of the self contained rooms which was well equiped and spotlessly clean.
There is nothing luxurious about about the centre but it ticks all the boxes. Clean, welcoming, friendly and well located. It does provide a good alternative to other accommodation available.
If I had to compare it to anything its very much like a Youth Hostel, in that it has all the facilities a traveller could want. including cooking and laundry facilities and the opportunity to meet fellow travellers.
The cafe / shop is an absolute bonus.

We recently found Innisfail Accomodation centre online and organized our accomodation for a visit to Innisfail for a netball carnival weekend. With first impressions counting I was very impressed with how helpful and friendly the manager was when he took my booking over the phone.. I had to make a couple of changes also and this was no trouble. When we arrived we were equally pleased with how clean and family friendly the accomodation centre was. Even though it is only just slightly off the main route through town it is quiet, comfortable and very close to the town centre. The owners and staff were just lovely, i have nothing but praise for this newly refurbished accomodation centre. It is good basic accomodation but run by friendly, caring and efficient people.....

Just outside the CBD we found this motel a great haven. The staff/managers could not do enough to help, always telling you where to go, in the right direction.
They have since opened a restaurant/take away and judging by their work commitment ill be a great success offered to buy shares.
Need a great little stopover visit them.
I enjoyed Innisfail, was not on the radar for a stop over but will be in future..Tour the area, cassowaries, crocs. snakes, the ;ot.
