Dear Mike C - Firstly apologies for the very late response... with all that has gone on Trip advisor had dropped right off the agenda i I am afraid to say. After 7 1/2 months of combined lockdowns we all hope we have seen the last of them. Onto your review, many thanks for your kind words and we look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.

Just returned home after our September holiday at Lakeland Village Owners Club. The Management team have done a splendid job making the resort safe and secure for us all. The Club has clearly had to make significant alterations to be covid secure. These arrangements are certainly different to what we have been used to. Nothing can take away the magic of the location and after 6 months self isolating at home, the joy of overlooking the river and fells was truly awesome. Top marks to the whole team for providing us with the usual high standards all of which made our holiday perfect.

Dear Visitover, many thanks for your wonderful "5 star" review posted following your recent visit... In line with our other recent reviews on here, as well as other methods of feedback, we find it very reassuring that you too approve of the procedures put in place. It is quite clear that having been open again now for over 2 months it is evident our owners & guests were itching to return, but of course we have had to do our bit to try and ensure that they are returning to the correct environment. Thanks again for sharing your kind words with the TA community and we hope that you stay safe before it is time for your next visit.

Our 34th consecutive year at Lakeland Village was a wonderful stay with the most glorious weather all week. The preparations for coping with Covid-19 were excellent, with thoughtful touches such as running a complete set of crockery and cutlery in the dishwasher, so that we knew it was clean and safe. The arrangements for arrival and departure were all remote, so that we didn't need to interact with anyone face-to-face, but the behind-the-scenes support and service was as good as ever. Many thanks to the team for ensuring we had a trouble free and most enjoyable week.

Dear Sue_Birch51, we really appreciate your full marks review posted following your recent stay here. Of particular encouragement were your comments on our "new" practices designed to make all guests feel as reassured as possible before arrival and during their stay. Your feedback falls in line with other recent reviews on here as well as via other methods, this hopefully demonstrates that we have found the right balance in dealing with this situation. Your kind words will be shared with all the team here who have worked hard to get us where we are, thanks again.

It was great to be welcomed back to Lakeland Village after being locked down for weeks. Richard and his team ensured that the cottage and the site were all prepared - and, as ever, there was a swift and friendly response to any issue. While there were some small changes and everyone had to follow the national restrictions - we enjoyed local walks in the local fells and further afield. We met up with family and felt confident that we were Covid safe - windows flung open at times!! Wholeheartedly recommend Lakeland Village for a great holiday in these different times. Btw - as this is not a hotel and the ratings below to not accurately reflect the amenities offered in a self-catering cottage.

Dearjoa679, we very much appreciate your 5 star review posted following your recent stay. As with other reviews "post lockdown" we were very pleased to read that you felt we had made the right preparations, and that any issues were dealt with professionally. Being able to get out and about now that restrictions have been eased somewhat must have been a bonus also. Thanks again for your lovely feedback and recommendation.

First time visited Lake District, stayed in 2 bedroom cottage with all the amenities, with sauna and open fire place. Very peaceful and beautiful scenery. View from our cottage was river, weir and steam daily train going thru the mountains.

Dear W8027XUmonikah, thank you so much for awarding us full marks following your recent stay with us. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your first visit to the Lake District and especially as you chose us to stay with ! We are indeed very fortunate to be in a quieter part of The Lakes, but with access to the busier spots if you want them by using such methods as the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Steam Railway that you mention. Thanks again for your review and we hope you get the chance to visit us again in the future.
