We have had a fantastic weekend at the Whitewater Hotel. The staff were really first class. Nothing was too much trouble and they worked hard to ensure our stay was as good as it could be. We had dinner bed and breakfast over two nights. We can honestly say the food was excellent. Evening meals left us satisfied and very full. Breakfast was excellent too. A wide choice and we could mix and match any items to our choice. We visited amidst a power outage for the region, but the hotel was one of a small number of properties unaffected, thank goodness… Our weekend was centred around the Dickensian market at Ulverston, which was also really enjoyable. We are already planning for next year… thank you all at Whitewater.

Absolutely loved staying here, we stayed for two nights in an executive room overlooking the river. The staff were all so helpful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The food in restaurant was lovely and so was the service, I have never come across such polite and friendly staff. Beautiful area, very pretty. yes the hotel needs some updating in areas but we actually loved the character and had a cosy vibe. Will definitely be returning.

Had an overnight stay at the hotel on a Groupon for my wife's 50th birthday. I found staff to be very friendly and warm at both the hotel and the leisure centre. Clean tidy rooms and food was in the restaurant was ok too.
