I have stayed here 3 times for business and have found it to be perfect. Easy to access coming from Toronto airport and working in Whitby. It is always clean and the staff are lovely. The hot breakfast is perfect to start the day. The rooms are spacious enough to work and relax. Highly recommend.

very clean hotel and room. Elevators were sanitized (witnessed) this as well as common surfaces wiped down. Hot breakfast items were a nice touch as well as having a well equipped kitchenette. Nice to have clean dishes come out of a dish washer. Good access to the 401 and gas station. Also, while it appears to be in an industrial area, it's only a short stroll to calm residential streets and parks, and "nature trail".

The room was lacking a few items such as ice bucket, tea kettle, dish cloth and soap which was brought to our room promptly when requested. We travelled with another couple and had requested adjoining rooms or at least rooms on the same floor which you were not able to accommodate even though the hotel did not appear busy. The continental breakfast (cooked items) were lukewarm at best. The server however was very friendly and tried her best and we realize these are not ideal times with Covid restrictions in place.

So we had initially booked this hotel for 8 nights while our home was being shown and sold. Check in was a breeze and we were given a room on the 2nd floor. King bed suite with user friendly kitchen etc.
Everything was nice and clean and well maintained. Bed was comfy and we had requested extra pillows which were in place when we got to the room.
Our only complaint is the amount of water noise from the pipes that seemed to be running over head of the bedroom or through the walls behind the bed. Our room was the first one in the hallway past the vending machines and maybe there was a mechanical room behind there. But we heard water flushing down the pipes every 15 minutes or so or at least when somebody was in the rooms above. It seriously sounded like a mini waterfall and it was very clear. My wife even thinks she heard someone actually using the toilet! Haven't experienced this in any other hotel and we are pretty much loyal Hilton supporters. Either poor sound proofing or the pipes are in the wrong location. Other hotels I have heard the faint sound of showers running etc..or even hot tubs grumbling. But this made me want to pee every time I heard it. It was especially noticeable early in the morning when whoever was above us got up early to shower and leave etc.
Anyway, I mentioned it to the front desk when we checked out 3 days early (checked out because house sold rather than the noise).
Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful though (not with this water issue unfortunately!). Breakfast provided every morning and it wasn't to bad.
Hotel is nice and clean and following all covid protocols. We booked the swimming pool one night but it was a bit chilly so only lasted 10 minutes.
You can go over the road to the Hilton Garden Inn to use their restaurant if needed and I would recommend asking for a room on the opposite to the 401 Highway as it will be a lot quieter.
Great staff but the Niagara waterfalls room was a bit of a letdown!

In the 8 days I was there, coffee , shampoo, conditioner soap was never replenished, the room was missing dish soap and dish towel. Room was not cleaned, garbage removed or sheets changed during my stay. I ran out of clean towels, soap, shampoo. no pen and paper provided, no glasses in bathroom When they boast of not being fussy hotel, they aren’t kidding!

Room was not clean (Lysol wipes came up dirty, thick layer of dust on fridge and other surfaces, spill in freezer, sauce or something on black out curtains, room door visibly dirty), hand sanitizer stations consistently empty despite pointing it out to desk, staff and customers not wearing masks. There was a plastic bag fastened to one of smoke detectors in room. Not welcomed on arrival nor asked how stay was when leaving. I feel bad for the staff as maybe they are overworked but we all still have to do our jobs. Disappointed given the Hilton brand and previous experiences with Homewood Suites properties.

Extended stay while home was being restored due to water damage.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The housekeeping staff went out of their way to make stay as pleasant as it could be.
The daily accessible bowl of fruit was very much appreciated.
There was lots of variety at the complimentary breakfast.
A small plate complimentary service at dinner time is supplied free of charge from Monday to Thursday evening.
I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

We made plans to ski at Dagmar on Jan 28 2022. We decided to stay in a hotel the night before if we could find a place where the kids could swim in a pool, to make a fun staycation out of it (we live in Toronto). We called Homewood and they assured us that their pool was open, and that we had to book a time slot for covid safety reasons.
We arrived just after three (check-in time is 3pm) and they told us our room wasn’t ready, and the lady at the front desk called housekeeping to make our room up. In the meantime, we asked if we could book a time slot to swim in the pool, and they told us that the pool was not open. So already, this stay was a huge waste of money, since the *only* reason we stayed in the hotel was so the kids could go for a swim. They blamed it on a new employee who didn’t know what the rules were. We spent maybe 5-10 minutes checking in and then we were allowed to go up to our room. I was a bit surprised that they would be able to clean a room in such a short time. When we got to the room, it reeked heavily of chlorine bleach to the point where I was getting a headache.
That night after my kids went to bed they woke up again to inform me that they found candy in their bed under the blankets…a red jube jube or gumdrop or something. It was a little unsettling. I had to wonder if they bothered to change the sheets at all, given the short time they had to make the room up. It was too late and we were way too tired to switch rooms, so my wife and I slept in the jube jube bed.
When we checked out the next morning I gave the front desk their candy back. They apologized and said they’d speak with housekeeping, which was of no consolation to us since we will never stay there ever again anyway. We really felt like we wasted our time and money.

Stay somewhere that cleans their rooms. We are here now and it’s 5pm on the third day and we have yet to have housekeeping come to our room. When I approached the housekeeper in the hall she handed me two towels and two wash cloths that looked like they were used to clean (see picture) the floor. Paid almost $700.00 to stay here!
Should have read the reviews because they all state the same! Plenty of other hotels to choose in the area!

The pullout beds are queen sized.
Hello, I don't believe you will have to pay a security deposit, we did not. We also did not go to the evening social, but think the children would be welcome, as I think it is held in the foyer and open dining area. In other hotels that do this, children are there enjoying a beverage. For us this is the perfect hotel for a family visit to Toronto area. The Go train station is very close, with free parking, to whisk you downtown. The suites are large and the kitchenette makes it feel like home, except theres a swimming pool!
Have fun.
We were not able to attend the social as we had to go out that evening, however as we passed by we noticed people sitting around with beer and wine. Not sure if those were free or you had to pay for them. I would call the hotel and check - also the social is only Monday-Thursday.
