Sun Peaks Lodge and the adjoining Sun Peaks Studios offer quaint studio rooms with a small kitchen equipped with stovetop, microwave, mini fridge, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, toaster, kettle, etc.,all the necessities to cook a meal. Rooms are clean, and very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is wicked good with lots of fresh variety to choose from. The food at the Steakhouse is always above par. The lodge is located smack dab in the centre of the Village Way which makes it an excellent choice to stay. There’s underground parking, storage room for ski gear and bikes and underground parking. The Stube Fondue restaurant is a must!!

COVID has made all aspects of travel difficult but the one I didn't expect was the difficulty all the businesses were having in recruiting staff. Yes, we had to make a few compromises (reduced housekeeping etc.) but that's a small price to pay, given that we couldn't travel at all last winter. The Sun Peaks Lodge is highly recommended, and we would definitely stay there again. The room was great, the service from Mario, Sylvia & the staff was excellent (in very trying circumstances for them), the hotel has a hot tub, steam room & sauna & is totally ski in/out. The pre-booked continental breakfast was more than adequate, & we had the option to upgrade to a hot breakfast when we chose to. On top of all that we had arranged to get married at the Mid-mountain Chapel (owned by the hotel) & Sylvia was extremely generous with her help which was much appreciated given that we were arranging it from 5000 miles away! We look forward to returning, hopefully next winter.

This place is awful. They advertise as having parking, but instead tell you to park in a public lot a 10 minute walk away. They advertise as having a sauna and hot tub. What they fail to tell you is that they are only open a few hours a day, starting at 2pm. This is a ski hotel. Hit therapy is a part of skiing. What a joke. The staff is also very rude. The manager is a typical Karen. The rooms are basic and small. This hotel is over priced by 50%. Stay anywhere but here.

The room was big, but didnt smell very good. Our first room had mold on the fridge so we complained and they changed our room. The room had no mold but did not smell very good. We were there for two night and had no housekeeping service. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom pretty good. The hotel is very well located, has a nice spa area with hot tub, sauna and steam room. The free parking lot is very far so we decided to pay the $15 a night and park underground.

Mediocre ski lodge (and resort) in Sun Peaks Resort with typical ski room. Clean, maintained. Continuous truck/road noise. Buffets poor, commercial. High end shops: Starbucks and Patagonia. Room blazing hot - temperature could not be lowered, no air conditioning. No window. Door with glass opens to a balcony(no screen) . Neighbors laundry drying over common balcony’s divider. Would not recommend.

The small lobby is warm and welcoming and the staff is top notch. My room had two queen beds, a small refrigerator and overlooked the ski run that comes right through the middle of the village. Bedding was very comfortable. The property has an indoor hot tub, secure ski storage with a boot drying rack & shelves for your shoes while you are out in the mountain. When you are ready to ski, just step out the lobby door, into your skis and ski through the village to the lift!
The hotel has a two restaurants - a steakhouse with an amazing Brie and a fondue stube perfect for dining with friends or a romantic evening.
I will definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for one night and loved it. The hotel is situated in the centre of the village and therefore has easy access to restaurants and shops. Our room was clean, spacious and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Mario and Sylvia are excellent hosts. Would recommend without hesitation.

This is a very good hotel with a recently remodeled spa area. Rooms were large and well appointed. The only negative was unloading your vehicle if you chose not to pay for or could not get underground parking, space for which is limited. The main entrance from the road was up a series of steep somewhat icy steps so you had to unload your luggage including your skis carry them up these steps and then place the luggage on a luggage cart. I found a better way to depart by using the elevator to the underground garage with the luggage cart and then loading the car just outside the entrance to the garage thus avoiding the icy steps altogether. Unfortunately I had to find this out by myself, I received no help from the front desk. This would also be a good way of unloading the car when you arrive

Excellent location - ski in ski out with a ski locker downstairs. Great steam room, hot tub, and sauna. Good sized room. Problem was very poor housekeeping - we were there a week and nearly every day I had to call the front desk as the cleaners had missed something in their cleaning, had not replenished supplies etc.
