What an amazing BB! The price is excellent, as are the accomodations and the atmosphere.
I would recommend this BB to anyone and look forward to going back!
The breakfast was perfect and our host and hostess were lovely and helpful. What a wonderful couple!

We first stayed at the Beachcomber B&B in August 2015 for our babymoon. Since then, we've been reminiscing on our time there -- so much so that we returned in July 2017 for our second babymoon! We stayed at the Cottage both times; we love that it is detached, private, and close to the beach. The landscaping and grounds are impeccable -- WOW. What a feast for your eyes. The view from this B&B can't be beat. The cottage itself is clean, comfortable, bright, and the perfect size for a couple. Don and Angie are wonderful hosts: friendly, helpful, charming, and oh so accommodating. We enjoyed every breakfast here: fresh fruit salads, omelettes, waffles, and our favourite, the eggs benedict with smoked salmon! Mmmm! Enjoying breakfast outside was the best start to every morning. Seeing the deer pass through the grounds (both times we visited!) was also a special treat! We would recommend this B&B to everyone and would not hesitate to return. Thanks Angie and Don for helping us create such special family memories :)

This review comes a bit late (sorry Don and Angie!) but it had to come. I was referred to Beachcomber by friends of mine who have visited numerous times. Wife and I had never been to a b&b and did not know what to expect. Here is what we found:

1) Immaculately maintained, amazingly clean and stunningly beautiful property.

2) We stayed in the cottage...which has a view that is essentially every postcard you have ever seen on the Sunshine Coast.

3) Comfortably equipped for the homebody yet accessible for the explorer.

4) Hosted by 2 of the sweetest human beings around!

When we met Don and Angie, Don told us he was a chef. I have to admit that in my head I was like "Okkkaaaayyy....I also cook food." But NO! This guy COOKS food! He is no joke! We were given two of the best breakfasts I have ever had and I only wish they turned the 2nd B in "Bed and Breakfast" to an E for "Every Meal."

Angie was exceptionally accommodating and to be honest, endearingly motherly. She always made sure we were taken care of and offered ideas for what we could do during the days.

My onlu complaint is that they have 2 Corvettes (his and hers) and no matter how many times I asked, they would not race eachother. I have a feeling that may come after we visit a few more times... ;-)

In any event, if you are looking to unplug, relax and just enjoy life you will not be disappointed by giving this place a shot. I know we will be coming back.

We have stayed at a few B & B's on the coast, but I have to say the Beachcomber B&B is the best! The property itself is pristine; the attention to detail is everywhere.
On top of the stunning views and peace and quiet, our choice of breakfast was brought to us each morning after a restful sleep in the super comfy bed.
After breakfast, It was only a few steps to the water for some exercise and paddle, and then to the hot tub to relax with a beverage.
Our hosts were wonderful. We were never bothered, but had great conversations with Angie and Don when we ran into them. I would highly recommend the Beachcomber B & B!

Booked the cottage very last minute. Less than a 2 hour trip from downtown Vancouver; one ferry ride.

Very clean, well kept place. Great parking right at the house. Don and Angie are just fantastic, outgoing, loving people. The place is quiet, peaceful with a great energy and you can see how much work the owners put into the place.

Sat in the outdoor hot tub for 3 hours and looked at the stars and shared a bottle of wine the first night. Was just heaven.

Next morning sat out on the patio and Angie brought us coffee then one of the best breakfasts I've had at a B&B. Then we sat out by the water and drank coffee and soaked in the beauty for a few hours before heading out. Had a great chat with Don and Angie for almost an hour before we left.

The Beachcomber has a high rating for a good reason. If you want to go to a B&B run by people that will treat you like family, this is the place to be.

What a great way to spend time. Don and Angie have done a remarkable job creating an environment that is clean, affordable, and luxurious. The views from this very private B&B were absolutely stunning. There are multiple terraces that provide a tranquil place to read, eat or simply relax. This was my first B&B and I must say that I was nervous but they were such great people that I will be back for sure on vacation. Angie and Don have running a bed and breakfast down to a science. The modern bedding is very comfortable and the bathrooms are kept extremely clean. The breakfasts were always on time and were very delicious. I felt as though I had the privacy of my own place but the option to visit (if that was the mood I was in). They are very friendly people and easy to work with. I sincerely look forward to spending more time with Don and Angie at the Beachcomber B&B

My husband and I have visited most of the B&B's on the Sunshine Coast and this one is the best! We were looking for a quiet B&B and found the perfect location in Sechelt at the Beachcomber with Don and Angie. We stayed in the cottage and it was everything we look for in a B&B; private, accessible to the beach, gorgeous water views, quiet, hot tub with a view, comfortable room with all kitchen needs. It also had lots of sitting areas both sunny and shady and it was soooooo relaxing and peaceful. We watched the sunset, deer wander along the beach, geese having their morning bath, eagles soaring by just above our heads. Two days there gave us the total recharge we were looking for and we'll certainly return. Don and Angie are great hosts and seem to be thinking of ways to make their place even more attractive and comfortable for guests, but I'm not sure how they will top the breakfast service directly to your room! It's close to great restaurants, kayaking, hiking, beaches and a short trip from the Lower Mainland with one of the cheapest ferry trips. You have to go, just not when my husband and I plan on visiting again!

What a beautiful spot! Don & Angie are absolutely amazing people & wonderful hosts.
We stayed in the cabin & it was warm & cozy. The in floor heating for the bathroom was great after a nice soak in the corner tub. The smoked salmon egss bennie was amazing & good coffee too. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great place. We'll definately be back. (did I mention they have motorcycle parking too for the summer) Just awesome!!

We wanted a quick get away for a couple of days, and my husband suggested a bed and breakfast. Having never stayed in one I was a bit leary, but Angie & Don were fabulous hosts. The service and breakfasts were out of this world!
