The hotel is very dirty , the food is horrible, don’t touch the meet , the breakfast is a joke … the omelettes are not cooked enough… you don’t even know how to make an omelette??? the cups are dirty , the table are sticky, since we arrived there and till we left i did not see a smile from no one on the restaurant , they don’t salute you , the pool area is also dirty and and not clean properly. I never been in a hotel with such a rude staff and bad service.
The only positive thing i have to say is that our room was clean and that the cleaning lady from our floor was cleaning everyday and chance the towels ( i think we got lucky )
The beach is very close but you don’t have sunbeds so you have to stay on the sand or try to pay on the private beach from other hotels, but only if they are not full from their guests. 18 bgn 2 sunbeds and an umbrella.
The beach is nice and the water clean .

To be honest, everything besides the food in the restaurant was great. It was clean, stuff was not bad, our room was really pretty. I loved the sea view. But the food, especially the meat, was terrible. We lost the whole next day because of gastric problems after the dinner. Fruits and vegetables were OK, but almost everything, that was heated, was not of the right quality. I won’t recommend you to eat there anything more than a breakfast.
The outside pool was a little small, but we weren’t using it. Every evening there was a music playing, children also weren’t bored.
About Wi-Fi, it’s so weak. It can be properly used only near the reception. You can forget about a good connection in your room.

Luna is classified as a 4 star hotel and has the potential to be just that. The rooms were very clean and light with heater/ air conditioner, tv with Sky and CNN, and minibar well stocked (at normal bar prices which was a nice surprise!). The pool was fine and other facilities available (internet was being installed as we left). What lets it down are the minor things - unreliable lifts (although there are 4 to choose from), a lack of variety in the restaurant (the food was fine but 14 days of essentially the same salads and hot dishes got monotonous). Service was generally good but somehow the initiative to "go the extra distance" just seemed to be lacking.
With several older folk in our party, the number of steps was a problem to some, 70 steep ones to the beach front and shops, and many more at the back to catch the local bus, although there was a longer sloped route to the beach and shops. Location is at one end of Golden Sands resort but almost everything in this self-contained resort is easily walkable as long as you are reasonably mobile. There is even a mini-train for those who want to ride from one end to the other. Varna is well worth a visit and only a 20 minute bus ride away but if that's too much hassle there's ten pin bowling in the hotel next door! Taxis are also plentiful at the hotel and in the resort. All in all you are likely to have a very comfortable stay here but with the occasional minor frustration. Feel free to email me with any specific questions...

We have been to this hotel, but we will never repeat this mistake. First of all, this is not a 4 star hotel. The food was the same everyday and if you are a vegetarian avoid the place.very few fruits, the cakes very sweet and not tasteful. The room was pretty large and clean, but it was coming an awful smell from the bathroom, the towels were very used and so the sheets. The worst of all was that we were ROBBED in the last day.We went downstairs for breakfast, when we came back we had no money and no cell phones. The personnel from reception were very sour and didn't want to discuss, because they said it never happened. s we were talking to them other two persons came with the same problem. They made us wait the police for 3 hours and when they arrived they told us clearly that there was nothing to be done and if we want to file a complaint we should stay for another 2-3 days.THEY WOULDN'T EVEN ENTER THE ROOM TO TAKE PRINTS OR ANYTHING.OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Me and my wife were at Luna Hotel at the beginning of july. Goog food, spacious room, great sea view from the balcony. The hotel was clean, they change towels and clean the room every day, tha food at the restaurant (we had "all inclusive") was good, local drinks at the restaurant (beer and wine) were very good, instead at the pool bar were untasty. Most of the stuff are friendly, the position of the hotel is great, just a few steps from the beach. The problem was with about 70 stairs from the promenade till the hotel (it wasn't a problem for me, but my wife is pregnant). There was no entertainment at all in the hotel or at the pool. Some noisy german teenagers, who didn't know the limit between drink and being drunk made some problems 2 nights. The hotel is in the north part of the resort in a very quiet area. If you want some fun just go to the center of the resort (about 10-15 min walk). To change money maybe is better to use bank atm, not the exchange offices.
In the north of resort is a small Fish restaurant, "Magdalena". If you want to eat some fresh fish and at resonable price, you must go there. It's just at the final station of the trains. Tasty and good fish!

Very pleasant hotel, nice large rooms, good choice of food, pleasant staff. There are two common terraces with beautiful sea view, one of them probably has the most beautiful view in all Golden Sands (photo included). The hotel is on the perfect location-in quiet part of GS.It is above the ground level-maybe some 10 meters, so the view is fantastic, even from the restaurant. The room with sea view is an obligatory if you want to enjoy completely.

We are booking it for this year, again

See you there:-)

The reception staff try to charge me more than normal. It last 10 minutes to explain me the price. Finaly they make the correct price. However the price is very high for the services.
The reception personnel is not professional, even nasty.
The private car parking is charged with 5 euro/day, very good... : my car was picked up by police... :(.
The restaurant personnel unprofessional, even nasty. The food is not very good. I not recommend "all inclusive" anymore.
The wi-fi internet connection is possible just in lobby, but not very good. To have internet connection in all hotel you have to pay a fee/day.
The bar is very good and the bartenders are very polite.
Hot running water not working properly in all rooms.
I not recommend this hotel.

Not a 4 star hotel for sure but 3 stars. But : the room is large, clean, not so fancy , the price was fair compairing with the quality of service and quality of accomodation ( the bathtub paint was scratched) . The proximity of food, drinks, beach is very good and the sea view from the room is amaizing ! (see photos attached). They have an inside pool & outside pool - but not to many chairs available. Anyway the see is close so is not an issue.
An issue is , if you had small children , if you want to go to the see with a baby buggy and a baby ....you have a problem. You have to go down on ....stairs...a lot of stairs ....
The breakfast was plenty - and with a good food. I was also in Greece were they have an awful breakfast at 3 stars....
The town center is a walking distance but I could not recommend any restaurant . The food is awful and expensive ....
As conclusion, a good balance between price & quality.
