We highly recommend this hotel for a vacation, alons or with family. The restaurant is very good! Excellent food! The personal is very nice and the rooms are very clean! Many thanks for making our vacation so beautiful! 😊 PS: We are planing to visit the hotel once more.
Sunny Beach as a resort....... it's not for everyone, can be a bit full on in parts, but turn left or carry on to Sveti Vlas, or right on the front and you'll find great places to visit including the ancient town of Nessebar. We walked there from the hotel, its about 8 miles. Its a great walk and the town is just stunning. Please go and see the place, it would be such a waste to go to the area and not see how lovely it can be. The Hotel...Cant recommend enough. The staff are great, very helpful and you're made to feel welcome from the moment you step in. The rooms are super clean and the house keeping is flawless. Great views of the sea and the pool. The pool is immaculate as are the surrounding areas. Towels are provided for the pool and spa, We visited the Spa everyday, its a great place although the pool area could do with a slight bit of TLC, that aside the facilities are brilliant. The food is great, so much choice at breakfast and dining outside was a pleasure in the morning. We ate out most nights but the hotels fish restaurant on the front is outstanding, Simply amazing food and great value. Really cant recommend this place enough. The rooms are large and airy, traditional style but really clean with plenty of toiletries, towels, coffee, tea, etc. The balconies are OK size wise, The Gardens are lovely and well kept and the security round the complex makes you feel safe and secure. The beach opposite is perfect and swimming in the black sea is a great experience, and finishing your day as the sun sets in the hotels beach bar...... a perfect ending to a hot day on the beach. We will go back at some point, and can't wait to visit Nessebar again. Will add pictures when we find them!…
Stayed at the Helena Sands in September for 9 nights, its located at the quieter end of Sunny Beach, which is like Blackpool on steroids, but staying here you could walk into the hectic nightlife for a short time and then escape to tranquillity back at the hotel. The food at the hotel was very good, The pool was good with large dome that became a fountain every night. Lots of people walking past the hotel would stop and take photo's of it. We got a sunbed every day no problem and there is a section on the beach with sunbeds free to hotel guests. The hotel is overlooking the beach, and we had a pool and a sea view. There is a mini train that runs up and down the resort which is used more as transport not just a sight seeing ride, and it turns round outside Helena Sands. We stayed on half board basis and ate out a few times. You could see the old town of Nessebar across the bay, we went over one day by water taxi from the pier near the centre of the resort, water was a bit choppy and the service had stopped when we wanted to return, so got a mini train back to start of Sunny Beach, walked a bit, paddled a bit, then got the mini train back to hotel. Nessebar is really quaint, with old buildings and some ruins, and lots of restaurants Well worth a visit. Sunny Beach is quite to cheap to eat and drink, its Happy Hour all day and night from the cocktail lists.…
We booked a week bed, breakfast & evening meal. The food was fantastic with such variation morning & evening all self service so mix & match as you wish. The hotel was immaculate throughout a large pool area close to the beech & a beech area exclusive for the hotel. The complex is a few minutes walk to the centre of the resort plenty of bars/restaurants close by could not find fault with anything.
NIce Hotel but with a long way to go with educating their staff. Hardly anyone talking english or german and was not really trained for the work of serving customers.. The fish restaurant outside on second floor which I am sure gives a nice wiew was not open for us as guests.. very strange since other people was being served....
