OK, so I wasn't expecting great things, having read the reviews! So, we had a family room, which was great, shower was great, we had a big veranda which was great, on the 5th floor facing the pool area. We often sat up there in the day, soaking up the sun, and in the evenings, listening to the wonderful night life. The cleaner, lovely sweet old lady, did change my bed every day, gave us new towels every day.
The food, well, pretty dire, but, after what we had paid for the trip, it wasn't surprising that it wasn't great. The worst thing was seeing people pile their plates high, and leaving so much, the food wastage was awful, people were so greedy.
The staff weren't particularly friendly, but they were functioning.
Limited soft and alcohol drinks, but enough choice.
The pool area was clean, ish, and the pool itself was great for a swim.

Would I stay here again? Absolutely, our room was a great base. However, I would 100% go either room only/self-catering/bed & breakfast. I bought a small kettle from Janet Market, as we wanted to have drinks in our room, there was a fridge to put our milk and soft drinks in.

All in all, it depends on what you want from a holiday. We had an awesome time in Sunny Beach, despite this, and, having seen the reviews, we had already geared ourselves up for a disappointing meal selection, BUT, I'd go again in a heartbeat. I think their budget for food is minimal, so they have to be able to produce an enormous amount of food, on a very small budget, hence the quality was not the best, but then again, it might be great for some people.

So, book, be warned, enjoy the wonderful town, with loads of places to eat, and things to do!

We have had the best time ever, the hotel is fantastic, they work very bard to make it a safe place during covid. The entertainment team is absolutely amazing, always keeping us occupied and very very friendly.
Ideal place for families with children, the water park is great fun, and the main pool is really good too.
The only down points I can think of is the snacks are not really snacks, its proper main food, I would prefer more like yogurt, little wraps or sandwiches. Also, internet connection is very bad, even in the lobby keeps shutting off.
Apart from this two points, the hotel is SUPERB!!!

A hotel with a very good central location. The renovated room was a very pleasant surprise - spacious, stylish and modern, with a lovely bathroom. The wide terrace was also furnished and overlooked the pool and the iconic Kuban Hotel. Young staff, cleaning the rooms every day, enough places to eat in the restaurant and in the garden, drinks bar, pancake bar, pizza bar, animators, music. It would be good for the hotel management to pay attention to the purchase of new coffee machines. Let it be known that the hotel is big and in the height of the season there are too many visitors from different nations, some of whom are too noisy and sometimes with rude manners.

The worst hotel in Sunny Beach!!
The service was terrible with one of the receptionists had a very bad attitude throughout my whole stay. Parking is paid (10 BGN per day). Drinks are served in plastic cups, excluding some cocktails eg. Gin and tonic. Throughout dinner one of the members of staff was very drunk. We filed a complaint to the agency about this and they took the measures needed giving us a refund and allowing us to leave the hotel 3 days before we were ment to leave. His eyes blood red and blasted music were going on throughout the whole place. The room only had one plug which was in the most uncomfortable place. The ladies that clean the rooms however do an incredible job to clean the dirty mess. The food is repetitive, daily. We get served the same food every single day. The beach is about 20 minutes away from the actual hotel on foot. At around midnight the music continues. The room has very poor AC but it still does a decent job. The TV only had 22 channels which were all either international or are boring. The TV wasn't working at first, but we managed to fix it. The bathroom was pretty good. However, the pool was ice cold on a sunny 31-degree day. The average temperature I would say the pool is is probably around 18-19 degrees which is shocking for the temperature. The lighting in the room is also very poor. The hotel is also situated about 2 minute away from street ,,Първа,, which is a very loud, busy and crowded street, so sometimes you can hear the noise from here.

Worst hotel in Sunny Beach.

It was the worst experience ever. I would only recommend you to go there for sleeping. The staff was unprepared and highly impolite. They had a bad attitude when we asked them something . We ate the same bad food everyday (oil burnt frech fries, uncooked chicken wings, overcooked pork neck, and a few other awful dishes). The coffee and water machines were very dirty. So was the ice cream fridge. When we first arrived the pool was very dirty. The wifi is paid (10 leva per day, 30 leva per week). The only good things were the size of the room and location. The hotel was very close to the centre.

The hotel is old and worn. The staff overlooks you. There is poor hygiene around food service, extremely poor quality of food and drink. Messy in the dining room and around serving areas. The room was fine, and the location is central.

I visited this hotel in 2021 so I hope now it's different but... This hotel offered us many great activities and I'm satisfied about the hotel. Only problem was the food. Our all-inclusive was same whole week, same breakfast, lunch and dinner offer every day. I'm also not sure about the sources of food but food was just a only problem for me. It's not a little issue but everything other was great - hotel services, pool, interiors and exteriors and the 24/7 busy main street of Sunny Beach. Wild sandy beaches are less than 1 km far away and it's impossible to avoid the busy street. Great for bigger families, group of friends etc. Nice place to enjoy vacation day and wild Bulgarian summer nightlife.

Good value for money as was cheap, but definitely NOT 4* as advertised! Clean but VERY basic, not even a kettle in the room. Rooms seemed to get clean towels daily but not cleaned. Food disappointing and repetitive, often cold , and no snacks as advertised. Nice pool area, and was quiet as end of season. Gym was disappointing and dangerous- one of the machines had paracord tied on instead of proper cable and bike and treadmill broken. Would not stay again.

Awful food, disgusting artificial drinks, a cook smoking and serving oily pizza, worst cleaningness, no wifi anywhere, no electricity socket, very unwulaified staff, badly maintained facility and more worst things. Just stay away. It is not even one star.

The hotel is fine and my room (202) was very modern. You are literally right in the middle of the resort so all the nightlife etc.is on your doorstep. There are many bars and nightclubs some of which are adult based. I hope this helps.... Steve R.
