We had the pleasure of staying at this Fairfield for 1 week over Easter Break & cannot say enough about how we love this hotel & the amazing staff. This is a new hotel with up-to-date furnishing & amenities. The rooms are clean, spacious & boast with quality furnishings. Cemal, the general manager goes above & beyond & is a positive role model for all staff. Lori, Krystal & Drew are top notch & ensure that guests are well taken care of. The breakfasts offer a good variety & Jeanny & Stephanie did a fantastic job of keeping food items stocked even during some of the busy mornings. The housekeeping staff do an amazing job of cleaning rooms to be sure they are spotless & sparkle. Thanks to Jenny, Kassidy, Jackie, Chrys, Cassandra, & Angie. The front desk staff were also impressive in keeping things under control in the evening & we thank Tiffany & Annie. The location is excellent with adequate parking and a well-lit parking lot. We have stayed in numerous Asheville hotels & the Fairfield Inn is at the top of our list with an A+!…
We’d like to thank Cemal Azimli & his excellent staff for making our 9-day stay at Fairfield-Marriott-Weaverville (FM-WVL) so pleasant & relaxing. We’re telling our friends & family how much we enjoyed staying at this magnificent, new, & conveniently located hotel. This was our first visit to the FM-WVL. We’re “seasoned” Asheville visitors since we have family living in the area. During the last 10 years we’ve visited quarterly & stayed in most every Asheville hotel. This Fairfield-Marriott has now become our favorite hotel in that area. The kind, caring, considerate, polite & efficient staff amazed us with their thoughtfulness & passion to provide excellent guest services 24/7. Regardless of their job titles/duties, it was noticeable that each employee loved his/her job & worked together as a team. Even on days they were filled, employees always wore smiles & had positive professional attitudes. Everyone followed strict CDC Covid precautions. The wide variety of breakfasts included delicious options of hot & continental choices. Staff members kept the buffet area stocked, clean & added just the right amount of Southern charm. Also, we felt right at home in the lobby working on a project that required a large, clean table. The lobby was inviting with fresh coffee & hot water always available. The swimming pool & fitness areas were a bonus. SPECIAL THANKS TO: * Cemal Azimli, General Manager, serves as positive role model to staff with his professionalism & dedication to guest services. He ensured our room choice was just right & made it a point to greet all who entered. Last July, we casually stopped in to “check out” the hotel & first met Cemal. When we returned 3 months later for this stay, he remembered our names & our room preferences. We were impressed! * MaKenzie & Krystal helped us with reservations & made sure our needs were met regardless of how busy they were. Both ladies always remained calm & attentive even during peak times. * Lori was always visible & ensured efficient hotel operations. She seemed to be “everywhere” from front desk, breakfast buffet, to folding laundry. She clearly loves her job & treats all with respect. She was always smiling, friendly & we enjoyed our daily conversations with her. * Jonas & Sandra efficiently managed the front desk & greeted us in the evening & made sure we had everything we needed to have a comfortable evening. Jonas went out of his way to bring us hot water when the cannister was empty. Always friendly, you could see their smiles in their eyes despite wearing a mask. *The Breakfast Staff were consistently friendly, efficient & cheerful. Several of the mornings were extra busy & staff kept up with the challenging pace, Jeannie & Lori took special care to be sure food items were stocked, tidy & kept warm/cold. This is challenging during these “covid-times”, and they always had such positive attitudes so early in the morning. *The Housekeeping Staff were amazing and always smiling. They diligently ensured rooms were clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. Hats off & thank you to: Lori, Venna, Jordan, Toccoa, Cassandra, Lisa, Rebecca, Daisy, Jack, Angie, Amanda, Julie, Alicia, Jessica, Jessica Tipton & Tim (the Houseman). We sincerely hope we haven’t omitted any staff as it was not our intention. Thank you again to everyone & we are looking forward to our next visit, Nancy & Marilee Kuhrik…
The hotel staff are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. The area is very quiet and the rooms and common areas are clean and maintained. My negatives are the rooms are very small, the complimentary breakfast is subpar, the room furnishings are very cheaply made, and all the rear parking lot lights were not working. We will consider another stay but will look at other hotels in Asheville first.
This was our first trip out of Canada since COVID. Everything about this hotel was beautiful. From the decor, the cleanliness, the comfort, to the staff. This was by far, the friendliest service I've experienced at my many Hotel stays. Cemal, the general manager; and Jessica at the front desk ensured our stay was top notch. For anyone looking for a great cup of coffee during breakfast, you'll find it here. Everything was impressive! Will definitely recommend to anyone traveling through Weaverville, NC.
This is a very nice hotel with great staff and clean, comfortable rooms. It was quiet and very restful. Breakfast was average, but that was expected for free! There are several retail stores nearby, so it’s conveniently located. It’s also close to downtown.
