Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We picked this hotel almost at random from the Romantik Hotels guide while driving through Southern Germany and struck lucky. The hotel itself is essentially a simple B&B but it has a wonderful restaurant - one star Michelin - with interesting, innovative international cuisine. The room was simple but a wee bit tired with painted wooden furniture and simple slatted beds with gingham quilt covers and pillow cases - all very alpine. The room was inexpensive - E95 for 2 people including breakfast, and breakfast was excellent.

Dont be put off by the appearance - removal of the climbing shrubs gave it a rather dilapidated external appearance but Im sure this will be put right in time,
You really come here for the food which was excellent and innovative - although the breakfast was disappointing.
Our large Room was much better than we had expected and service was great so it will certainly become a stop over hotel of choice.

Our experience at the Landgasthof Adler has been enjoyable, primarily as far as the restaurant is concerned. The location is close to a couple of important German motorways, and this makes the hotel a strategic stop on the way if you are travelling close to Munich or Stuttgart; the village is a nice snapshot of the rural south Germany. The restaurant is a jewel, with a nice terrace, sophisticated interpretation of the traditional Baden-Württenberg cuisine, and good wine list. The hotel room has a fair comfort, but nothing really special: no minibar, reasonable space. Overall a nice stay, that I would definitely recommend for a short break.

Romantikhotel? Where is the romance? This is a straightforward, very simple business hotel at a ridiculous price. We were not expected, in spite of the reservation, so their system does not work. The kitchen is closed on Mondays, like everything in Rammingen. The amenities in the bathroom are minimal. Breakfast is sufficient, but plain vanilla.
Not all of the windows have insect netting, so mosquitos abound if you want to keep the windows open to let the stuffy air out. The biggest problem is the next door church whiich keeps chiming every quarter!
Internet does not automatically switch on after having logged in.
I would have given 1 dot for the price/quality but for the cleanliness of the hotel.
A pricy pity at € 139 a night.

Ample free parking. Whenever possible we try to stay at a Romantik Hotel and this one was excellent. Nice rooms, clean, good size. Owner helpful. The restaurant is also outstanding for both dinner and breakfast. The aura is more B&B than "hotel"

If you are in the area, then pick this as the place to stay.

Indeed is the perfect place to stay where around Ulm if you are looking for a quite location with excellent food. An old house well maintained. The owner and staff are very nice, room was clean big enough and bed very comfortable. Internet works well, breakfast is normal, well presented but not spectacular. Prices are reasonable, what's make the difference is the excellence of the restaurant.

The hotel is lovely, the staff is professional and knowledgeable. Our standard double room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a wonderful array of delicious food. The coffee was fresh and exactly what was needed to start my day. Next time I'll try the mimosas. There will be a next time as it was a perfect stay!

Made this hotel our stop on our journey back from Italy to the Netherlands.
We had a small Juniorsuite with added bed and the "Gourmet-Arrangement'

Three reasons to do this again:
1-good food
2-good wine
3-good room
