This is a new hotel and its location is awesome if you are going to Davidson. The design is funky and that is fun. Room is small but adequate and well equipped -- it has a nice mini fridge, coffee maker, in room safe. Floors are luxury vinyl with area rug - all very clean and bed is comfortable. Two big complaints: First, there are two Tesla charges and they do not work -- we complained daily and they were never fixed. We were told to use the one at the hotel next door which is fine except these are the slow Tesla charges (think home charger), not the super chargers, so it takes 4-6 hours to charge -- and they were always full. Turns out Teslas are pretty popular and having two home-style chargers for 2 hotels is woefully insufficient. This was hugely disappointing as it is why we chose this hotel. Second, it is noisy. They play very loud music which can be heard in the 2nd floor rooms -- we did go ask them to turn it down and they said they would and did not -- it is both inside and outside and is totally not relaxing. If you stay here, be sure to get a room on an upper level if you dont want to hear the constant thump of the music.

The hotel was new and the room was very clean when I checked in. I learned after a few days you have to ask for maid service or they don’t come. I stayed for 8 nights and called 3 separate times asking for clean towels and the garbage to be emptied. No one ever came the entire time. I am guessing maybe they were short on cleaning staff because there was garbage left by the elevators, in the elevator and outside that was there for days. There was also drink glasses that were left outside on a patio table for 4 days. They may have been short on help but you’d think the front desk or bartender could have taken 2 minutes to pick them up. I love that they allowed dogs for free. I had asked for a room on the first floor (booked months in advance and called a week before I arrived to confirm) but was given the 4th floor. Luckily the elevator was fast so no dog accidents. I may have been lucky I wasn’t on the first floor. The lobby/bar are was so loud. I could hear the music on the 4th floor a couple nights. I know they are trying to be the cool hotel for young people but they should be a hotel and not a nightclub. There were maybe 5 people in the lobby but the hotel looked pretty full. Several other guest made comments about the “ridiculously loud” bar. I very much appreciated the feather free room. The beds/bedding was really comfortable and there was a nice mini-fridge. They also had an awesome variety of TV channel. Usually hotels are limited but they offered cable networks women like to watch! The gym and pool looked great but I didn’t get a chance to use them because I didn’t want to leave the dogs in the room alone and have them disturb other guests. The shower was great. Could have used more drawers so I didn’t live out of a suitcase. The dog potty break area was very much appreciated! Overall, I’d stay here again but I’d love to see them replace the loud bar that no one went to with a free breakfast.

I was hoping there would be some lake restaurants nearby this hotel but there weren't. Instead we found a delightfully modern newer hotel with a nice big bathroom and shower area and two big queen beds in another large room with a small table and sitting area. The shower will not appeal to most though since there is no door or shower curtain to hide the person taking a shower but for us it was fine. And the vanity was nice and large. We had a view of a lake in the distance which was nice. And the new development across the street almost was hopping even midweek with one restaurant too full and another Italian one able to take us for dinner.......and a good one! Everything felt new and fresh!

Great experience at this brand new hotel in Mooresville, NC. Spotless, comfortable with a great bar and lobby. Tony went above and beyond to even get my son ice for his leg which had some muscle strain. Taja was terrific behind the bar. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Pool was nice as well.

I was excited to stay at this hotel but honestly, I was disappointed and will not return 1. Guests with no masks. When we walked in there were guests talking to the front desk agent with no mask. Guests at the bar didn’t have masks on but that was to be expected since they were eating and drinking. 2. Elevator condition. The elevator was gross; definitely not what I would expect from an aloft. It wasn’t cleaned and the carpet was filthy 3. Hallway and windows in hallway were filthy. The hallway windows looked as if someone smeared who knows what on the windows. 4. Toilet in room had urine on it 5. Shower and sink had black strands of hair in it 6. White stains on the couch 7. Mirrors with splatter on it NEVER AGAIN! Shame on you aloft Mooresville
