Just shocking. Was told our room was one of the upgraded rooms. Mattress probably over 20 years old. Sunk in the middle. Had to kill several small roaches in the bathroom. Loud highway noise. Just terrible. Clerk was very friendly. But that’s it.

Let me start by saying that when I checked in I went up to my room and my keys automatically did not work, and then there was the fact that my door handle was broken, and then when I went back to the front desk to have my keys re-keyed they told me that the door is always like that. Then I went into the bathroom and looked at the disgusting floor and I do believe one bath towel was there available for me. The tub look like it has not been cleaned in several weeks. The walls were discussing paint peeling off you name it. And then when I went to check out because I was not going to stay in a room like that they told me that since it was pre-paid that I could not get my money back. I was not in a position to sit there and hassle with them barter with them I had things to do with family. I will say that it was the worst experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel. And I’ve been staying in hotels for over 20 some years. I think the most disgusting thing was when you go to the sink turn on the light to brush your teeth and get ready there was at least five cockroaches in the sink around the sink so you have to keep all your personal stuff in the Ziploc bag in your personal belongings so that you’ll have roaches on crawling all of your stuff. The bathroom floor look like it had not been cleaned at least a week same as the bathtub. I definitely would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel it needs to be bombed for the bugs at least

Room was not worth the $150, I probably wouldn't pay $55 for the room. Generally aren't disappointed with hotels since I just crash there and keep moving but this hotel was subpar. We only chose this one because it was the only one available. There are great things around the location though.

This is one of the worst hotels in Jacksonville, NC. Rooms are not cleaned before arrival by housekeeping and the floors and walls are covered in hair and dirt. Everything is grimy and smells like smoke. Towels and linens are dirty and the furniture needs to be thrown out. Find somewhere else such as the Hilton Garden Inn.

This place is in very real need of a paint job, or total exterior renovation. When my daughter, who lives near found out we were staying there, she begged us to stay with her, or another motel. Once on the property, I understood why. Wyndham is known for quality establishments. If this had been my first Wyndham experience, I'd be saying. "Well...it is a motel".
