We got a great rate on line, and for a one night stopover, I'm very satisfied we got good value for what we paid. I heard a conversation in the lobby where the clerk had to charge about 35% more than we paid booking on line. At that price, the niggly little stuff like the slightly whiny AC might have bothered me. I don't necessarily believe you "get what you pay for," I've got hundreds of examples where that didn't happen, but the idea "you don't get what you don't pay for." is right on. We didn't pay much here, and we got good value for what we paid.

Staff was very friendly. Very convenient location. Had a great time. Nice town Camp Lejuene. Near great stores & restaurants. Gas prices were unbelievably low. Nice ride to Emerald Isle. Plan to revisit soon.

I only stayed one night. Continental breakfast was very bare bones. Allegedly non-smoking room was smokey smelling and there were holes in the bed sheets from cigarette burns. Parking lot was just re-sealed prior to my arrival and I was told they would be painting the exterior. The location is convenient along main drag, the rate was decent, and the check-in lady was very pleasant. Otherwise, I would probably not come back when I am in town next.

When me and my fiancée first checked in the lady was very rude and she kept saying over and over do you understand checkout is at 11 am I said yes I told her my fiancée don’t understand she is deaf and she said well make sure she understands checkout is at 11 am, and the WiFi sucks when I asked the WiFi don’t work the worker with attitude told me well my son been on it all day I don’t know what to tell you sorry then when I went to my room you could feel and here people banging on the walls and me and my fiancée got bit by bed bugs it was really bad we still have bumps on our arms and legs we saw bed bugs on the bed, they moved us to a 2nd room when we paid again and my fiancée got bit again they will make up lies to throw you out they claimed people were asking for cigs and were gonna kick them out i also got verbally and physically assaulted by one of the workers and it’s not a kid friendly place they allow druggies there and the ground outside is nasty the room smelled horrible there were blood stains on the sheets and all the workers are rude and lazy and WiFi sucks there and there breakfast is awful I saw mold on the muffins in there it was nasty and the don’t have much options for breakfast and the waffle mix was old and clumpy and smelled funny and have the time the workers or on there phones not working or just walks around don’t even stay at front desk and they talk bad about other customers or tell other customers business and call customers name do not stay there it’s a health risk and safety risk and they also made up lies saying people were asking others for money and that was a lie. The room smelled rancid and was meant to be non smoking but had an ash tray! The carpet was stained and dirty. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mould. Best for last I have never seen so many species of cockroaches they were everywhere! Owners are obviously aware of all this but don't seem to care and by the time you figure out how bad everything is it is too late to do anything. Appalling!
