Detailed Reviews
This is without a doubt the cleanest place I have ever stayed. The room we were in- room 12 had two queen beds that were very comfortable and tons of pillows. It had a cute retro fridge and microwave. The bathroom was well stocked with large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion and aloe. The towels are very large and so fluffy and thick. There was a coffee maker however no coffee. Just cream, sugar and two packs of hot cocoa. Our stay was fantastic and we got food from a Japanese place up the street that way excellent. Away from the bustle of the city yet very close to it. Very quiet location. However when we were leaving my husband accidentally set off our car alarm at 5:30 am. I apologize to the other guests. I highly recommend this spot and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed in the cottage which was fresh and clean with full amenities. The towels were real bath size, not the typical hotel size(and plenty of them)The grounds had a variety of things to do; a gazebo with a barbeque, shuffleboard, and a large lighted seating area. Contactless check-in was simple and convenient. We were impressed and would stay there again.

We stayed in Room 19 which is a full two-bedroom house! It was much nicer than we expected from the exterior — the interior furnishings are great - comfy beds, full kitchen, and even a washer & dryer! We had a great time hanging out, and the Inn is conveniently located a short drive from the Historic Downtown with lots of cute shops and restaurants to enjoy. My only disappointment was the Keurig needed to be descaled so it was not really functional - which is rough for me in the morning when I needed my coffee. :)

Had good reviews, booked a Saturday night getaway. Left at 11pm to go stay elsewhere. There was a family living in the room next door, could hear every cough, giggle, and voice through the wall. When we went to leave there were two guys wandering the lot near our car. Just weird, not a good vibe at all. I’m not a fan of leaving bad reviews but don’t want anyone else to have our experience.

+1
The hotel is very charming and has a mom and pop feel to it. It reminds me of a restored motel from the 1960's but updated with modern and stylish touches. It is cute and very comfortable. We were so taken by its charm that we found ourselves staying here twice during our summer road trip up and down the East Coast. They have an outdoor gazebo with a grill and games such as horseshoes and shuffleboard. It is located in a safe and picturesque mountain setting with lots of trees and fresh air. We loved it!

So impressed with this out of the ordinary hotel. Small cottages with wood paneled rooms and memory foam mattresses. I will be staying here again. Not far from my Asheville faves and I love Hendersonville too. Very cozy room! I highly recommend this place.

I like to get a feel for what’s ‘real’ about a place and the Cedarwood Inn was a wonderful way to do just that in Hendersonville. The motel was super clean, the owners were friendly, the bed was AMAZING and the property was in walking distance to a good restaurant. SO much more fun than a chain motel on a highway exit. I’d love to come back in the summer and enjoy the shuffle board court, grills, and porch attached to our cabin. Highly recommend!

I decided to get away for some R&R in Hendersonville/Flat Rock, NC.
I chose Cedar Woods Inn because it wasn't the standard motel/hotel.
It is not fancy. No free breakfast.
But good WiFi, clean property. Quiet.
Comfortable bed, soft sheets. Friendly staff. Close to downtown Hendersonville, and Flat Rock.
I stayed in room #18...pics attached.
I would recommend this place for the traveler who is just looking for a clean, quiet, affordable inn.

The individual cabins are really great! Nicely appointed, plenty of amenities, great TV/streaming options. My only wish would be an ice machine/vending machine to be available on the property.
Also, great communication from management.

30 mins/ 25 miles. closest airport is probably Asheville airport
I believe it's mostly handicap accessible, depending on the handicap. From my recollection, most of the rooms are accessed by going up 1 or 2 steps to get to the front door. But the rooms consist of about a dozen individual bungalows, so the best way to know for sure is to call and talk to the owner, Danny, he can tell you for sure if all the rooms require going up a step or not.
The shower was an easily accessible shower stall with a curtain, without a tub. Sorry, I don't recall the height of the commode.
Yes we do have 2 bedroom cottages. Please call me at 828-693-8284 so we can discuss what type of room setup will work best for you.
Thanks,
Danny
We definitely welcome kids. Our main goal at Inn is to provide family atmosphere to our guests.
