My wife and I recently enjoyed a 4-day weekend to celebrate our anniversary at the Pinebrook Manor B&B. Never having stayed overnight in the Hendersonville area before, we were excited. The location of Pinebrook Manor is near downtown Hendersonville, yet a couple of miles southwest of the city in a quiet area.
Melanie and Graham were the most delightful owner/hosts. We truly enjoyed the more than spacious and beautifully decorated downstairs area (especially loved the library and the plethora of books!), as well as the complimentary afternoon wine and snacks. I really must mention that one of the things that we enjoyed most was the delicious curated breakfasts each morning. These were not your typical Southern breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns, grits, etc., but were full of non-typical breakfast delights, such as croissants directly from France and poached eggs in light and fluffy pastry. Each morning was truly a wonderful surprise!
Our room, the Lord Byron Suite (one of the four "British Author" rooms), was more than we had imagined. The suite was truly large, with a sofa and two sitting chairs in front of a fireplace. The bathroom was spacious with a modern shower, which we have found to be pretty rare in many older B&B homes.
If you find yourself traveling to the Hendersonville area for hiking or bicycling the many trails and mountains nearby, trying out the local wineries or just sitting back and relaxing, do yourselves a favor and consider the Pinebrook Manor B&B.

Thank you so much. The celebration of an anniversary needs a special place like Pinebrook to enjoy it to the full. We are very pleased that you chose our home. Pinebrook was created as a Romantic Inn, memorable for the quality and elegance of its spacious yet intimate public areas and luxurious bedroom suites named after English Romantic Poets Byron,Tennyson,Barrett Browning and Wordsworth. The final memory of a Romantic Inn should never be a standard mass produced breakfast, but something more creative to complete the way it started. We hope to see you again soon.

After being fully vaccinated against covid-19, my husband and I finally decided to take a short 2-night trip to Hendersonville in the NC mountains, one of our favorite places to visit for a couple's get-away. Pinebrook Manor was the obvious choice for our stay for several reasons. First, we have stayed there many times before and know that it has always exceeded our expectations in terms of hospitality, beauty, cleanliness, and privacy. Second, during these times of covid, we felt very safe staying at Pinebrook Manor because of its small size, with only 4 bedrooms. Third, and most important for my husband and me on this particular trip, was that the owners of Pinebrook Manor, Melanie and Graham, allowed us to bring takeout dinners back to the bed and breakfast to eat since we are not comfortable eating in restaurants just yet because of covid numbers. Each night, Graham went out of his way to provide us with plates, silverware, and napkins to use with our takeout meal which we enjoyed with the complimentary bottle of wine that is always provided for Pinebrook guests. These are just a few of many reasons that continue to make Pinebrook Manor a superior place to stay and a great place to recommend to others!

Thank you so much Natalie. It was great to see you both again here at Pinebrook. We have also both been fully vaccinated which makes us a lot more comfortable and greatly reduces the risk for us and our guests. The more people who get vaccinated the better it will be. We try to accommodate guest requirements and allowing those who are not comfortable with restaurants just yet, to eat in the bar area is no big deal for us. We look forward to your next trip to the mountains.

What a fantastic 5 days at PineBrook Manor. Our family rented out the entire house (4 rooms) for a wedding in Hendersonville. Graham could not have been more accommodating with our various requests particularly around traveling with a 1-year old child. The house was absolutely beautiful....felt like I was in a fine manor back in the English countryside. The rooms were large, well appointed and extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast each morning set the stage for the day.....it was prepared to perfection, served hot and served on-time. Afternoon tea and snacks was always a welcome treat as was the evening wine. The house is set off the road so there is no road noise at all. The grounds are beautiful and I encourage you to walk the fields and find the rose garden and chickens! There wasn't anything that I did not like about this stay...other than maybe it was too short! Thank-you Graham and look forward to the next visit!

Thank you so much. We greatly appreciate you sharing your experience with others trying to make an informed decision on where to stay and are so pleased that you enjoyed your visit so much and are looking forward to your next visit. Melanie set up Pinebrook as a Romantic Inn with the English Country Manor House as her model. A journey back in time, but with the comforts of home. ***Potential guests please note that Pinebrook is solely a Bed and Breakfast Inn with 4 guest suites. We do not do "whole house rentals "as such, which for the avoidance of doubt, means that guests do not have access to the kitchen, the use of a microwave oven or any other means of cooking or laundry facilities regardless of how many rooms are booked or the length of the stay.

My husband and I stayed at Pinebrook over a long 4 day weekend to look at properties for future purchase. Our time at the inn was very relaxing and we felt very spoiled! The breakfasts were so tasty; filling without being heavy! I tried items I wouldn't normally have eaten and they were delicious! We stayed in the Elizabeth Barrett Browing room and it was very comfortable with everything we needed. I would highly recommend a stay here!

What a charming and elegant getaway! Don and I were gifted an over night stay at the Pinebrook Manor on August 12. It did not disappoint. The aroma of Douglas fir to the beautifully decorated and spacious suites allows the guests the privilege to enjoy an English country house filled with warmth and Southern hospitality. The owners are very attentive to details: afternoon wine, homemade sweets, jars filled with candy, available coffee/tea, beautiful antiques to name a few....
Graham was a host with the most! He was beyond easy to converse with, and very knowledgeable. His breakfast was sooooo YUMMY... We regret to say that we were unable to meet Melanie.
We were very pleased with the location of this B&B; very accessible to both Flat Rock and historic Hendersonville.

We enjoyed our two night stay here. This is just a short drive to the downtown area of Hendersonville but far enough out for privacy. They have a beautiful rose garden. Breakfast was served each morning in this beautiful room that reminds me of the tea rooms I like to visit and eat in. The room was accommodating with fresh flowers, truffles, water and named after poets. We stayed in the Barrett Browning room. The pastries were made by the inn keepers and they were delicious both days. The bananas foster french toast was so good with the mixture of fruits such as blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries and yogurt. In the afternoon cake such as tiramisu was served along with various teas and coffee choices. I would stay here again. Thank you to the inn keepers for such wonderful accommodations.

The Pinebrook Manor B&B is the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The hosts were welcoming, the room was elegant yet cozy and the food was so delicious. The Inn itself is filled with beautiful antiques and there are many rooms to enjoy. There is a large living room with couches and a fireplace. There is an impressive chess set in front of a large window, where my husband attempted to teach me how to play chess. So fun and memorable! There is a library with many books to enjoy and board games to play and a room with a bar with a couple of tables and small refrigerator. The bar is beautiful and a red and white wine are opened at 5 o’clock each day for guests to enjoy. There is also a garden room that looks beautiful but due to cold and rainy weather, we did not spend much time there. We stayed in the Elizabeth Barrett Browning room. The room was spacious, sunny and well appointed with a lot of dresser space and large cedar closet. The bathroom was nice with a jetted tub, fluffy towels and supplied with toiletries. Our bed was very comfortable and warm and we enjoyed the fireplace and flat screen television. Bottles of water and Lindt chocolates awaited guests. The dining room had a beverage station where guests could at any time, prepare a cup of coffee, plain or flavored, or a cup of hot tea or hot chocolate. The dinning room is beautifully set with China and crystal and you sense that breakfast will be something special. Breakfast was indeed very special and the best we have ever had. We had three days of amazing food consisting of bananas foster French toast, scrambled eggs in hash brown baskets, and pumpkin waffles with candied ginger butter. Each breakfast was served with fresh fruit, coffee, fresh orange juice and a wonderful homemade pastry such as a banana bread mini loaf, chocolate croissant, and plain croissant. So fabulous and I wish I could eat there every day! Also, a delicious dessert awaits guests every afternoon in the dining room. The cinnamon streusel Bundt cake, whipped cream filled cake and chocolate walnut cookies were all so delicious. It was a serve yourself dessert which was great because you can slice yourself a big piece of luscious dessert to enjoy. We will definitely stay at the Pinebrook Manor again. Everything is top of the line and when you can’t stop thinking about a place, you know it was memorable and wonderful and you need to go back.

We stayed at Pinebrook in mid March as the weather was starting to warm. We were the only people in the house that weekend, so got to check out all the bedrooms while staying in the Lord Tennyson room. Everything was superb in appearance, comfort, and hospitality. The house is immaculate in its English country style decorating and period furniture, beautiful draperies, and wall coverings--not to mention views to the exterior make you feel like you are in the English countryside. Breakfast both days was wonderful and a real treat. We recommend this place highly as a quiet place and getaway while being close to Asheville to see sights, etc. and a great alternative to the standard hotel room offering. It was better than staying in someone's house, while feeling very much like it was ours for two days.

Our visit here was dreamy. The room and home are immaculately decorated and the food lives up to the hype. We loved the books of each poet/author being in the room to enjoy. Between breakfast, wine, and afternoon dessert you leave feeling spoiled. The garden was beautiful and peaceful. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast and will definitely return.

My husband and I were in the NC Mountains celebrating our honeymoon. After much research we elected on two different locations and inns to stay during our week of travels. Pinebrook Manor B&B Inn was the second part of our week and we could not have been more delighted with our stay! From the entrance onto the property we immediately knew we were in a special place, and little did we know just how special. The home was immaculate in every way from the décor, to the downstairs rooms and what each had to offer for guest usage to the peacefulness of the gardens. The innkeepers, Graham and Melanie know exactly how to make you feel special as their guest! Afternoon sweet treats, late afternoon cocktails to the most well presented and tasteful full service breakfast one could ask for! Melanie certainly has the talent for serving great choices each day from sweet to savory. The bedroom was warm and friendly, providing very comfortable surroundings. Graham was simply a treasure of a host and we were delighted to have him provide personal service. Best treatment we have ever experienced in a B&B!! If you have an appreciation of historical settings rich in history, peaceful, and attention to details, I would highly recommend a visit to the historical Pinebrook Manor B&B Inn.

Thank you so much for this amazing review! We agree that Pinebrook is a special place, ideal for a honeymoon, We are really pleased that we managed to exceed your expectations and could help to make this very special occasion more so . Melanie spent a year looking for the right place, which was semi derelict, when she bought it 18years ago. It took 7 months to restore and open to receive guests. We greatly appreciate you sharing your experience with us and future potential guests. We look forward to welcoming you again at Pinebrook.

I would call around and ask who is open for dinners.. I believe Seasons at Highlands Inn has a buffet, so check there. Had dinner there the other night and it was great. Breakfast at Pinebrook was around 8:30 am to 9:30 am. With only four suites I am sure they would accommodate you. In the evening, wine was available and a dessert type item, such as cookies or a bundt cake was available for you to help yourself. Melanie or Graham can answer all of your questions, give them a call. Hope it works for you.

We are located a short taxi ride from Main Street (about 3 miles). The journey probably wouldn't take any longer than walking to or from any of the inns located closer to the downtown area of Hendersonville. We hope this is helpful, and look forward to welcoming to Pinebrook should you choose our inn for your stay.
