This is an older hotel...room was adequate except for a very loud air conditioner...Heidi at the front desk was very responsive to our needs which we greatly appreciated. The cleaning staff does a good job. The hotel is at the end of a road which means no drive by traffic.

Two women out of three at the front desk can make or break this hotel! There's no reason to be mean.
I have been coming here for many years but this trip to the Red roof inn wasn't up to par. I would have given it a one star due to two girls at the front desk, Heidi and the other girl refused to give me her name. Upon check-in, Tanya did an amazing job as she was multitasking and everybody had a smile on their face while waiting to get checked in behind me. The girl that refused to give me her name was upset because I went down at 4:30 in the morning asking for some decaf coffee. She put two on the counter and went back in a room and shut the door. The next morning was even worse when Heidi was working as she yelled at me and said this hotel has no decaf! I told her it was a white packet with green that said Italy on it and she went into the dining area and started opening all the drawers pulling out blue packets of Maxwell's coffee well yelling at me and slamming the drawers shut. It doesn't take much to put a smile on your face and if it wasn't for Tanya and her amazing ability to do this job, I would have left for another hotel. I will come back but only when Tanya is working! She went above and beyond for every client that was at this hotel when I was.

The first thing I noticed was the rooms were much bigger than other red roofs we have stayed. Room was clean. There was doggie poopie bags. We walked our dog. There is a wonderful steak house next to it. Proximity to the interstate is good. The not so good, nothing on the breakfast bar. There weren't enough people there to have one. The front desk person was nice but didn't know anything abt the area. The housekeeper got our towels. It took some doing to get towels replaced as we were left with 1 bath, 1 hand, and 1 washcloth. Basically this is a really good motel. The price is awesome for the room size. There should be more business here.

I had to switch from room 120 to 124 due to bugs/beatles. The clerk checked room 120 and stated that "they had bugs due to being in the mountains." At 2:30 am, I took my dog out and noticed more bugs in 124. I went to the front desk again and this person told me that he couldn't do anything only the manager had "the code" to adjust off the rate. After a few hours of sleep, I left. There is not way I could stay there. The next morning, exhausted, I called the hotel and spoke with a woman named Christy (not sure of the spelling). I guess the manager didn't want to talk with me, so Christy talked with her and called me back. My bug nightmare was only worth $30 to them, which I declined. I will be calling AMES. Christy, by far was one of the rudest people I talked with and shouldn't be working in the hospitality industry. I checked in to get a good night's sleep. I had my dog with me and didn't need a bunch of bugs joining us. Christy had the nerve to ask if I took pictures. Maybe if it would have been day time and maybe if I wasn't half a sleep I would have thought of this. I don't work there, so it's not my job to inspect the rooms. After all; the guy working 2nd shift told me the hotel had a bug problem. If you check into this hotel, look behind the TV and under the stand. I noticed other posts mentioning bugs on the 1st floor, so it's not just me. The worst part is a few of the bugs decided to join us on our trip. When I stopped for gas, one was in my hair which almost made me throw up. Gross! Avoid this place.

I absolutely recommend staying hear especially if you have fur babies with you. They have the nicest team here. Paula is the best. The room is spacious and the view from our room was woodsy and beautiful, especially after the 10 inch snow. We enjoyed watching it fall from our room with a view. We played outside and enjoyed mingling and chatting with many other nice guests. Each room has a small fridge, microwave and a personal coffee maker. The water was hot and the bed was comfy. They have all day coffee, tea and juices which were yummy and blueberry muffins for breakfast. The heating and air system worked great. Also so affordable with no extra charges for fur babies. We will be staying here again with our fur babies.

This hotel was way overpriced for what we got. Walls were stained, had holes, and had roughly patched holes. Shower was tiny, a 99 cent shower head, and shower rod was staring to falling off the wall. The room had cracked floors and had a very weird smell. Just not what a $140+ a night room should look like. Staff was friendly but not professionally dressed. There is no way I can recommend someone stay here.

This was our first stay in a Red Roof, motel occupancy in the fall in Hendersonville is apparently high. We stayed one night in room 207 and enjoyed it. The room was clean with modern furniture that looked new. I will attached a photo of the view out the window, very nice. The young man at the front desk on the evening of Friday October 8, 2021 was helpful, pleasant, and efficient. There were many good dining options a short seeming 10 minutes away in downtown Hendersonville and an Out Back Steakhouse across the street from the Red Roof. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

Horrible! The debit card machine wouldn't work, first checked me into a room that hadn't been made up then moved me to one with a broken TV. The clerk came to fix the TV and said my room smelled like smoke. I don't smoke and called the front desk upon entering the room. The clerk said I must check out or lose my deposit. Infuriating!

My husband and I stayed here because the rates seemed reasonable. I guess you get what you pay for. It was a lower level room, and the people upstairs could be heard upstairs because the floors are older vinyl. The bed were hard, which was ok. The Direct TV went out in the evening. Coffee was served in the lobby from 7-11 am only. We had to be sure we wore something on our feet as the floors were dusty. Found a few roaches. The in room coffee was like brown water. Horrible.

If you're going to be staying in this area, choose the hotel! I promise you, you wont regret it. I travel for work and stay in hotels about 40 weeks out of the year. I've been at this hotel for a month now. This is the nicest budget hotel I have ever stayed at. It's all the nicest Red Roof Inn I've ever stayed at. It's hands down the cleanest hotel I've stayed at as well. The housekeeping staff does a great job at tidying up my room daily. Every day they make my bed and bring fresh towels. That's a rarity in a Covid world. The front desk staff is also excellent and top notch. They always greet me by name when they see me coming and going. They also go out of their way to make sure my needs are met. They keep my deliveries behind the desk safe for me as well. There's also an Outback Steakhouse next door and a Starbucks around the corner, so that's a bonus! If you're searching for the best hotel in town, look no further than this Red Roof Inn, you wont regret it.

Due to hotel policy we can not rent to local's within a 50mil radius. This hotel has had some policies changes due to the Corona Virus.
Only the first floor was handicap accessible and there was no breakfast when I stayed there but that was a few years ago. There is a Denny's just below the hotel.
