This is a lovely place in the Loire, near beautiful villages and castles. Domaine les Fontaines is a fully renovated French farm with 5 gites. It has a walled yard, so no worries where the kids are. The gites are cosy and all have a bath or shower. There is a common kitchen annex living that all guests can use. Breakfast is served there every morning. Almost every night, Engelbert and Marielle (the warm and hosiptable owners) cook for the kids and a terrific 4 course meal for the parents. When the kids eat, the adults gather to enjoy glass of wine. And when the kids are asleep the diner starts for the adults. Participation is optional, but we participated 4 times and every time it was surpisingly good and the company enjoyable. The domaine has a nice pool optimally located for the sun with comfortable chairs and air beds. And they have a big trampoline for the kids. It all was very relaxed and warm. And the price/quality ratio is optimal. We had a very pleasant stay here and will certainly come again.
