The most famous waterfall in America thunders just minutes away from your peaceful campsite at Niagara Falls North/Lewiston KOA. Your hosts can arrange a van tour, door-to-door, to the jaw-dropping view. Or they can offer you many other suggestions, like the huge jet-boat run through the rapids in Niagara Gorge, musket demonstrations at 300-year-old Fort Niagara and charter fishing on Lake Ontario. A pro golf course is 1 mile away. At KOA, take a quiet swim in the pool. Set up a game of horseshoes or volleyball while the kids enjoy the recreation room, occasional ice cream socials and pancake breakfasts. The campground's facilities include the laundry, recreation room, bathrooms and store/office. Pool: June 1 - September 6. Max pull thru: 75 feet. Your hosts: Leigh Ashley and Fran Prior.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We didn't spend much time on site, except to eat and sleep in our tent, since we were out touring the area most of the time, so we didn't really mind that the rec room and basketball area weren't available when we visited. We enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the location, how close it was to Niagara Falls and other major sites. The bathrooms and dishwashing area were really clean. Grass was trim. Our campsite was great and the staffers were friendly. Free wifi was available but spotty, depending on your location.

Stayed two nights to visit Niagara Falls. Location was good for this and nearby beautiful state parks. Gravel roads and pads with grass. Pretty quiet. We are self contained so did not use bathroom or showers, but looked inside and they were clean. Playground area not that great and pool area did not look welcoming at all even though it was closed due to COVID-19. Pool was empty and an eyesore. I really expected more from a KOA campground and think about half of what we paid would have been more inline with the quality of the campground.

Staff was very friendly. The pool was small, but nice. Bathroom facilities were very nice & clean. My only complaint is that our fire pit was in a rather swampy area. They did bring a portable fire pit for us to use, but I feel as though the ground could somehow be fixed or built up so that it wouldn't be that way. No other site was swampy around the fire pit like that.

First, the pool is badly in need of painting and repair. The big thing is they advertise free WiFi but don’t tell you that you have to drive up to the office for reception. Not good. I am a 74 year old woman traveling alone. To use a bathroom thT has safety rails to getup and Dow, again I have to drive to office. People running the place though are extremely nice.

We booked a cabin for two nights to explore the area and visit the falls. The campground is very conveniently located, cabin was nice and the bathrooms were clean. Park was pretty damp and buggy, maybe due to location?? The worst thing tho, was the cabin next to us (K6) which appears to be a seasonal, possibly camp staff and they smoked pot literally round the clock. We couldn’t cook or eat outside due to the smell and if you’ve been in a camping cabin, you know they’re not set up for cooking or eating inside. I get that it’s legal in NY, but people traveling with kids should be taken into consideration by the thoughtless people who feel the need to be high all day long. It was honestly gross. Probably won’t be returning.

Not a destination. The electric hookup was funky, had to play with the breaker switch to make it stay on. The cover over the hookup was only attached on one side, fell down and cut my arm. Garbage overflowing the broken cans. Beer bottles scattered around. The pool looked horrible. Heavy mosquitos, but that may have something to do with the landfill across the street. I left a day early just to get out of there.

My wife, 8 year old son and I just spent 4 days tent camping here. The facilities were very good and the price was definately on the affordable side. We chose this spot because we were visiting Niagara Falls and wanted to turn it into a camping trip as well. This campground has a pool, store, clean bathrooms, dish washing station and coin operated laundry facitities. Everything was clean and well maintained. We would stay here again.

I took my family tent camping here over Victoria Day/May Long weekend (that's the week before Memorial Day in the US)...the timing was perfect. We arrived on a Sunday and left on Thursday before all the Memorial Day campers came in. Its true that this campground is not the closest one to the falls, but it is in a DELIGHTFUL area. The campground is also a lot smaller than the KOA Niagara which I prefer. Our site was large, the bathrooms/showers were clean and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! We just came back and it was a nightmare. 5 of us went for the long 4th of July weekend. Our 2 children and my sister-in-law was the 'extra adult" First, they said we'll have a wooded tent side, it was a lie. We had other campers right next to us, right across and behind us. It was a "tent trap". People were loud and had party after midnight as well. We couldn sleep, the bathroom looks nice by the office....as you can see on thier website. The one we actually (and most of the campers) used was filty. Pool is discusting. Playground is outdated. The guy in the office tried to cheat not to give my change back after I bought something in their store. First I though he forgot, second time around I knew he was trying to cheat....well when we came home and I went through our receipt (now I know I should of done that there) and noticed that we were charged for an extra child for 10 nights. We were there for only 5 nights. When I called they said they will look into it and call me back. Well, never happened. I called them back a week later, so it turned out that the price online is only for 2 adults anything above that is "extra", so you have to pay $3/night. Oh, and BTW he charged us for Holiday weekens. I can understand these things but would't be nice if it would be on their website???? We camp a lot and I know some of them charge you extra for holiday weekends, but they have it on their website. Also, we've never been in a campgroung were the price is only for 2 adults. It's always 2adults and 2 kids. Anyway, if you want to camp around Niagara Falls, find another campground. Make sure you are charged for the correct amount..... I don't recommend this campground at all!!!!!

I went there for one weekend. It is a quiet place. It's very nice. The bungalow and the restrooms were clean. It's very close to the Niagara Falls,15/20 minutes by car.
If you love nature and relax, that's perfect!
