The physical property is run down, dirty, smelly and desperately requires a top to bottom renovation.

Avoid this property at all costs.

Unless the current owners take the necessary steps to redo the facilities stay away from the property.

Ramada Wyndham should visit the property and demand that the owners redo the property

I loved getting a rude awakening at 6:10am on a Sunday morning. If a church pastor, great thing, as a guest, DEFINITELY NOT! Please tell the cleaning staff to inquire at front desk if guest has checked out before entering a room. Or please teach them English so they can read the "Do Not Disturb" tag on the door knob! Or what it's for? And if all that doesn't stop them, then the open luggage on the floor upon entering is a GREAT CLUE that someone is still in the room or has yet to check out? Plus leaving the lights on, upon their quick exit, lets me gaze at the ceiling wondering should I get up to turn it off or roll over to recoup lost snoozing time?

At first, I was a bit concerned about the negative reviews I had read for this hotel in various websites. However, I decided to give it a try because it was the least expensive hotel in the area I needed to stay for reasons of work. NY hotels are very expensive. Unlike Dubai hotels, for example. I never paid more than $60 a night there.
The price here was lower than the others but by no means was that cheap ($135.)
My first impression of the room was not good.Carpet looked uncleaned, dated and had burn marks, window screen was torn, in general unappealing. I looked around for positives instead of dwelling on negatives, examples
The bathroom was impeccably clean, there was a mini fridge and microwave oven. The most redeeming factor was a clean and comfortable bed.
I decided to give them another chance and booked again
In my first stay I asked for a "decent room" . Not very good
Second time I asked for a "nice room"
Front desk gave me a room in a different area and the room was much better than the first one.
I am also glad that instead of writing a totally negative review, I am giving the hotel (for Wyndham and management's sake, as well as my own) another chance to a better experience.
Last, but not least, breakfast is nothing to look forward to, but coffee was ok and that's all I needed to get up and go back to work. In addition, while I was checking out I spotted a vending machine which had some decent edibles .
My advice: ask Management to give you a "nice room" if avalable

I routinely stay at this hotel and I am a Wyndham Platinum member. I spend thousands of dollars at this hotel.
I had booked a room partially paid for with rewards points, and before checking in, I tried to extend the stay by one day, but for whatever reason that was not possible and I had to make a 2nd reservation.
My prior stays at the hotel and Platinum membership was explained by me when the problems occurred.
When I checked in they said they were unable to take the payment for both days.
On day 2, starting at 11am waking me from a sound sleep, Daniel from the front desk called to say that I had to come to the front desk to pay in order to extend my stay. Check out is 12 PM.
At 12 PM Daniel called again demanding I come to the front desk and pay immediately.
I explained that after taking a shower and getting dressed I would come and pay - but that was not good enough for Daniel. He insisted that he was not agreeing to those terms and again said I had to come to the desk immediately.
I always pay in cash, but they have my credit card on file, and when I told him to charge it to my credit card, he demanded I bring the physical card to the desk to have it swiped.

This person is clearly not trained or qualified to provide reasonable service to customers and provide hospitality to guests.

He also didn't seem to care one bit about the customer experience and how he was behaving.

This was obviously annoying enough that I am taking time to advise others - if you don't care how badly the front desk staff treats you, this place is for you.

This hotel was one of the worst I have stayed. All the carpets there are filthy inside and out. Guest be in hallway smoking weed, I got moved to a different room. And it was worse then the first room I had, I couldn’t even get a good night sleep. Thinking about how dirty it looked the bathroom looked like mildew in the shower. The phone looked like it been in water and they didn’t change it, the tv remote was so filthy. Thank God I carry lysol wipes every where I go I took pictures and I still have a hard time just thinking about!

It’s cheap and for a reason. If you’re wanting to stay here expect screaming from other rooms, nasty mattresses, the rooms to smell like weed, the floors to be sticky/soggy. I won’t be staying here again and I will be very cautious around Ramada’s for the rest of my life.

We were reassured by the Ramada name and the photos online prior to booking. We paid over $140 for a family room. The reality was appalling. The photo of the Ramada logo is the only good photo. It resembles a very low standard hostel. The entrance foyet is dark, dingy, unwelcoming and filthy. The room absolutely stunk. There were more stains on the floors, walls, ceiling than a tie dye t-shirt. The bed was not made, it had a clump of someone's hair in the bed. There was a huge brown stain in the bed that had come through the sheet. There was someone's food in the microwave. The hotel also has long term guests which brings its own issues. It is quite a scary hotel and there were people dealing on the balcony, swearing and being really rude. It was an absolutely disgusting septic tank. I cannot believe they rely on the Ramada name to draw people in and have the audacity to charge people. Hotel guests should be paid to visit. The hotel pool had no hotel guests using it, it appears to be the local hook up. Adult action taking place during the day which is just gross. Needless to say we didn't stay. No refund, and very rude. The other reviews are misleading as it is not representative of the reality (see photos). DO NOT STAY. You have been warned.

Our family specifically wanted to visit the downtown Flushing location, and this hotel is just a few blocks away so it fit the bill very well. The room had a view of the Manhattan skyline very far away, and we were also able to see Citifield much closer by,.

We didn't make much use of services, but the interior of the hotel was clean and comfortable. No complaints.

In the morning, we were in the flight path for flights out of LaGuardia, so there was occasional rumbling of the jet engine that sounds like a gang of bikers rumbling through, but it was tolerable. We slept well in any case.

Hotel stinks of cigarette smoke in hallways
Rooms are unclean, old and dingy. Chairs linen and carpet badly stained. The heat was very low and there was a snow storm
I had no choice, otherwise I would have run for the hills. I will never return or recommend to my worst enemy!
