Detailed Reviews
We were in NYC for a party and stayed here just for the night. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff was very nice. The room was clean and small but wasn't a big deal. We had our 5 yr. old and we knew the room had a pull-out. When I pulled it out, there was a stain/burn on the mattress. We checked in later in the evening so I didn't want to change rooms. Later that evening, the room cold and we couldn't get the temperature up....again, we were settled in the room and we were only staying for one night so I didn't want to move!
Breakfast was a free for all. They ran out of utensils, food, and juice multiple times throughout the morning. There was no order to navigate in the food area so it was hard to get your food without being bumped into. GET THERE EARLY
The rest of the stay was ok...there was a broken toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Overall, it was a good stay. (sorry I didn't include pictures)

Thank you for your feedback. I was glad to read that you had some enjoyable experiences during your stay, but I do apologize for issue with the pullout mattress and the fact that the room became cold in the evening. Thank you for letting me know about your breakfast experience. I will share your comments with the Food Outlet Supervisor and look into this so we can resolve these issues. Thank you

My family needed a quick getaway to anywhere that’s not too far from the city so we chose this property. The property is not too old and the interior design is in line with the newer Courtyards. We booked a two queen suite and it’s longer than the standard double queen rooms with the sitting area by the glass wall overlooking the parking lot. The room was spacious and we had ample room to move around and have meals.
At the time of arrival there was snow on the ground. Had the area been plowed better there could be more spots for quests because the lot is shared by guests of the adjacent Residence Inn. Many spots were blocked by piles of snow. Also, there was garbage strewn about everywhere. I’m talking about paper cups, straws, cigarettes, plastic bags. I raised the concern to management and their response was the recent storms.
The public areas seem to be not well maintained. The elevators always had trash on the floors and they were candy wrappers and obvious items which should’ve been noticed by staff. There were various stains in my bathroom floor which should have been addressed during cleanup of previous stay. Besides that I was also informed of incorrect breakfast policy and platinum benefits by the front desk.
Overall the double queen suite was comfortable and spacious and I would return if in the area but not sure if I would stay in the property in another room type.

Physically the hotel looks relatively new but we found the walls to be paper thin. You can hear everything in the hallway and the doors slam when they close. They should be adjusted so they close more quietly. Also they charged $6 for a small bottle of water. You can get a 12 pack for $3!!! Also we were getting something from the Starbucks/Bar and the person serving was actually talking to a friend on the phone…while serving us! Outrageous. We don’t think this is a bad hotel but they need some adjustments.

I am here to write about one of your workers theo who has made me feel comfortable always asks me if I need new towels make sure I have new bed sheets I have been here for almost a month and a half with my daughter and my grandkids Theo has always made it his priority to make sure that we have everything in the room that we need. also when we were having door trouble he offered to change our room when the other person told us that they weren't any rooms available. Always says hello when we walk in and asks us if we have had any luck with our apartment search. I will tell all my family and friends about the courtyard and the amazing workers they have thank you for being there in our time of struggles.

Jeremy at the Front Desk was EXTREMELY rude, didn't acknowledge me for 10 min then gave me an attitude because I explained they gave away my confirmed room at the neighboring Residence Inn. Then he overcharged me (even though I had prepaid for my room at the Residence Inn) giving me a crazy high rate as if I had walked in off the street with no reservation and claimed he would reverse the charges but never did. I called him back and he refused to give me the General Managers name, so I am taking it up with Marriott Corporate. Not to mention the room was filthy and had stains all over the bathroom...

Hello. I sincerely apologize for any perception of rudeness or uncaring that was felt. I am currently out of the office, but I have forwarded your comments to my assistant in charge while I am out and asked for this to be looked into immediately. I am sorry for how this appears to have been handled. I'm not sure if TripAdvisor will allow this, but I'm including my business email address so we can work through this via email instead of the TripAdvisor site. Thank you taking the time to make me aware of this. My email is ron.czulada@marrriott.com. Thank you.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 nights in August 2019. It was a very nice, modern, quiet hotel. The only downfall is that it is not really close to anything and the only restaurant in walking distance is an Appleby's. However, it is still very nice and the shuttle which transports you to and from the train that can take you straight into the city is very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your feedback and thank you for choosing the Residence Inn Yonkers Hotel. I am very happy to read that you enjoyed the hotel. You are correct that there are only a few restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The upside to that is that the hotel area is quite which allows for a restful nights sleep. I'm glad that you used the free amenity of the Shuttle service to get around and explore. We look forward to serving you again very soon. Thank you

It’s 2:26 am and I’m up writing a hotel review because for the second night in a row I’ve gotten no sleep or peace in this hotel! The first night was a night filled with kids running and screaming uncontrolled for hours. Now my neighbors apparently think 2:00 am is a great time to have loud conversations and make as much noise as humanly possible. Calls to the front desk do nothing “ yeah we may have to inconvenience you and move you”, nope 👎🏽 not happening control your guests.
There’s also no food on site so it’s not ideal for those of us on business trips because of the location there’s only an Applebee’s near by. There are no provisions in the small market either, looked for Tylenol packets but nope 👎🏽 don’t carry it.
I’m in the area on business almost every other week but won’t be returning here. Unbelievable! One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Not impressed or pleased at all.

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate you taking the time to share with me where we did not perform to your and my expectations. I do sincerely apologize for the shortcomings of your stay and I will ensure that the items you mentioned will be addressed. We do have an outside security service on each night so I am sorry that they did not perform as expected. I will follow up with them. In regards to food and beverage on property, our Bistro is only open on Saturday and Sunday. We attempted to open the Bistro 7 days a week but patronage was very light so we had no choice to limit the hours of operation for financial reasons. I do apologize that we were not at our best during your visit. I do hope you will provide us another opportunity in the future to earn your trust. Thank you

I have stayed at this property for three straight weeks, four weeks total after next week, and it has been just an excellent experience for me. The whole staff here is fantastic especially the Assistant GM Jamie and Sam at the Bistro who go above and beyond for their customers. The customer service here is second to none since I have been staying here and I highly recommend staying here for business or pleasure. This is just another example why Marriott is the best in the business.

This was my 2nd multi-day stay here. Decent enough hotel. Relatively stylish and comfortable rooms. However I will note that ice maker was broken on my floor, and the mattress appeared to have spring damage on one side. Not a problem for me since I was solo and the bed was huge. Just slept on the other side of it. But for a couple it would have been irritating. Also, $20 for a bowl of oatmeal and a black coffee at the downstairs cafe seems a bit ridiculous, though I guess that's just the way of things these days. But if you have a family to feed, I'd look for a place with included breakfast!
