The Viana Hotel and Spa, part of the Trademark Collection by Wyndham, is often commended for its cleanliness and prime location that offers both accessibility to city attractions and a tranquil retreat. However, guests' experiences are varied: the spa and pool receive accolades from some but criticism regarding upkeep from others.
While the atmosphere garners both praise and disapproval, issues with noise and outdated amenities in rooms are a concern for many. The service quality fluctuates, with reports of both attentive and lacking responsiveness, and additional costs have left some questioning the value.

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is well-kept, has a nice appearance, excellent service. It is centrally located and proximate to 3 major freeways and 2 highways making it easy to get wherever you want to get in the area quickly. There are many dining options around in Jericho, Syosset, Westbury and Hicksville, as well as in Marco Polo's inside the hotel itself. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional.

Conveniently located, this hotel has spacious rooms with a desk, easy chair, microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig. The shower is large with excellent water pressure. Robes are supplied. The hotel should consider offering their good quality toiletries in dispensers rather than individual portions.
Strangely, there was just one thin summer blanket on the bed - in December. We had to turn the heat up on order to be warm enough to sleep. The hotel could save money and the environment by providing adequate bedding.
The hotel advertises a pool, but it is actually one of those tiny pools where one swims in place. There is also a whirlpool. We did not try them out.
The hotel has a restaurant and bar which is convenient since the area around the hotel does not seem to have a lot of options. We did not use the restaurant, so I cannot say whether they are good or not.
Nice and helpful staff on the desk. The hotel has a welcoming vibe with fresh fruit and hot water for tea always available and a little shop for snacks.

Thank you for your feedback of the Viana Hotel and Spa. We are happy to see that you were treated to the excellent customer service we are known for. We are proud to be a full service hotel. Our spa has 5 treatment rooms, saunas, a small pool and whirlpool for our guests to enjoy a bit of r & r. Our other amenities include a game room and gym. There is a delicious Italian-Asian fusion restaurant within our hotel, Marco Polo's, along with a bar/lounge area. There are many restaurants within a ten minute drive in the surrounding area, should our guests be looking for something different. We hope the next time you join us, you will be able to take full advantage of what our beautiful hotel has to offer. My staff and I look to provide a clean, comfortable and courteous experience. We do offer extra blankets, should you need them. We are also changing the duvets to go from summer to winter, with an insert. Our front desk desk is also happy to provide anything missing from your room should you need. We are in the process of changing to dispensers in the bathrooms, as they are greener. We are proud to be a LEEDS certified hotel and are constantly evolving to keep up with standards. Thank you for your kind words for our staff. We look forward to welcoming you back for a five-star experience the next time you may find yourself in the area. Thank You, Takir R. General Manager

I am so impressed with the service excellence of this hotel. First was a wedding shower that was fabulous. Food was great as a buffet and staff was extra helpful. Next was the accommodations for 60+ Guests (they honored the block rate for all guests who called to reserve a room) My sons guests love to party and the staff was always friendly and more than accommodating. We had the after party and a “hair of the dog” brunch which was also smooth and tasty. The bar tenders were friendly and professional both the night before with our nervous bridal party and during the late night after party. This hotel is the best place to create a warm welcome and comfy place for any bridal group, not only because the rooms are spacious and clean but because the staff are truly engaged and want to make your experience fantastic in every way. This place added to our son’s fabulous wedding weekend, even though the actual wedding was at a different venue.

Not worth the money we paid to stay here. But everything in the area seems expensive.
We stayed here with a wedding party. It's what they chose and I am not blaming them at all. It was somewhat close to the wedding venue. Roosevelt Mall is not too far away.
Rooms were nice, but I have had as nice rooms in Hampton Inns for half the cost.
We stayed 2 nights. The first night was just awful. At least 2 families just had to carry on a conversation right outside our door at 2 a.m., with their dumb kid screaming too. Absolutely no respect and no class.
We took a tour of the hotel and saw that the pool was shut down and empty, so much for the spa. Also, there really weren't many places to sit in the common areas of the lobby or reception areas.
Also that night we went to the hotel bar and ordered drinks. We received 2 of the worst Long Island Ice Teas known to man and they were $19.50 a piece.
The next night, we had a restful sleep. Parking can be tight. That 2nd night we were lucky to find street parking just outside the hotel parking lot.
A major plus was that we had an unlimited supply of Poland Spring bottled water. Also the breakfast buffet, paid for by the wedding party, was very enjoyable.
All and all, we were there for a happy occasion. And we were satisfied, just not blown away by anything special here.

My husband and I live in Brooklyn and stay here frequently for quick romantic getaways. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is top-notch. Everyone who works there is friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a cozy feel to it, and the food in the restaurant is great. We're tried the spa, and that was excellent too. We had a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker in our room, all of which are great, helpful touches. My favorite is their showers. They have great water pressure and several shower head options, and it makes me feel both invigorated and relaxed at the same time.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that you enjoyed a less than perfect stay with us. We take cleanliness very seriously, however due to CDC mandates, we had to change our housekeeping protocol. We do this to ensure the safety and health of our staff and guests, and also to follow the regulations that the state has made. We are happy to hear that you were treated with the hospitality that we are known for! We do hope to welcome you back again for a perfect stay.

We decided to stay at this hotel as it was close to our friends' wedding and everything else was already at capacity. We arrived at about 11 pm on Friday evening after a long drive from out of state. The room was already pre-paid as it was booked via Expedia. On check-in, we were given no details on the amenities of the hotel or where things were located. The hotel advertises valet parking however during our two days stay we never saw a valet and had many difficulties finding parking on the hotel grounds leaving us to park on the street. The room that we were placed in did not appear to have had a quality check prior to us being checked in. There were multiple strands of red hair in the bathroom, on the sink and on the toilet bowl. It appears that the guests who stayed in the room before us used the wash cloths and then hang them back up neatly. Housekeeping possibly assumed that the wash cloths were clean since they were hanging and left them there. Imagine my disgust when taking a shower and attempting to use the washcloth when I was greeted by a large brown stain on the washcloth. After returning from the wedding I forgot to remove my watch and it ended up getting lost in the bedding. Being in a rush to make it back home we kindly asked the front desk if they could contact me once they located the watch. They did contact me about an hour later saying that the watch was found in the sheets and I directed a friend who lives in the area to go pick it up. Only problem is the watch that was given to my friend was smashed and broken which would be impossible since my watch was new. You also would think that the person who initially called to say that they had found my watch would've mentioned that the watch was smashed and broken, but instead complimented me on how beautiful the watch was.I called the hotel to see if there were any other watches in lost and found, assuming that it was a simple mistake. I was met with hostility by the front desk attendant who stated that she gave me what she was told to give me and then rushed me off the phone. There is no number for customer service or email for that matter on the hotel website. Every form of contact leads back to the front desk and I am at a loss as to how to speak to someone else besides the very rude front desk attendant. The icing on the cake was that I got double charged for my stay even after confirming prior to check on that everything was all paid for. I regret choosing this hotel for my stay I would've rathered staying at a motel where I am sure I would've received better service and a clean room.

We have since addressed your concerns with management and found that your room was double check by our housekeeping team per our hotel policy and we found no issues. As far as your watch condition, we spoke with our housekeeping team and it was found and handed in prestige condition.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting the area for a family wedding. The hotel lobby was beautiful and clean, as were the rooms. I had requested connecting rooms, and this was accommodated. We were given rooms on the "penthouse" top floor. We weren't there for a view and I knew there wasn't one, based on the reviews, so I wasn't disappointed with overlooking the back of the businesses next door. I was, however, disappointed with the sound coming from presumably a large a/c unit outside. It was quite annoying and we had to put the TV on to drown it out until we were so tired the sound wouldn't matter. We didn't bother complaining to the front desk, because there is nothing they can do about mechanical equipment that may not even be on their property. The beds and pillows were comfortable and linens soft. I read some reviews complaining about the shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion dispensers being on the wall, but we actually liked it that way and it was refreshing that they're working to be more "green."
We did eat dinner at the restaurant on-site, and while the food was really beautiful and delicious, it was extremely overpriced for the amount of food you get. Dinner for 5 with no drinks was over $250, and we were still hungry and ended up going and getting snacks at the 7-11 down the street afterwards. The other odd and uncomfortable thing about the dinner was the fact that the gentleman that served us made some rude remarks to the chef and they had angry words back and forth a couple times loudly in front of us. All in all, we'd probably stay here again but would not eat dinner at Marco Polo's.

We used the Viana for our hotel block for our wedding on 10/4/19. We worked with both Erin and Bella throughout the process. We had two suites the night before the wedding and for getting ready the day of, and our one suite the night of the wedding. The rooms were clean and nice. The staff was very accommodating, sending people to set up and take down our pull out sofas and an extra rollaway cot since we had bridal party members staying with us before the wedding. When we got to our suite after our reception, there was a bottle of champagne on ice and rose petals throughout the room and in the shape of a heart on the bed. It was lovely! We had a 13 passenger shuttle between the Viana and our wedding venue for 2 hours on both ends of the night. I’m not sure of his official title, but Joe was a staff member who seemed to be everywhere and helping us in every facet of our stay. He was amazing. One minor issue that we heard after the fact was that some guests were not given our hotel welcome bags. Overall, I was extremely happy with the Viana for use of a hotel block.
We did our rehearsal dinner and post-wedding breakfast at the Viana as well. It was so convenient before and after the wedding to be in one place. The rehearsal dinner and breakfast were both private, decorated with linens and centerpieces. All food was buffet style and delicious. There were a variety of packages and menu options for both. The waitstaff was excellent and we enjoyed having both the dinner and breakfast here.
We also chose to have our after party at the public hotel bar. Many of our guests hung out at the bar after the wedding until 2am when they closed. They have a game room with a pool table and extra space to hang out. No complaints!

My name is Keith Layton. From August 2, 2020 through August 8, 2020, I stayed at the Viana Hotel and Spa in Westbury, New York. I wanted to send you personally my excellent feedback about the service provided at the hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, and as advertised. It was cleaned on schedule. All services I requested were provided to me without hesitation and with practically no delay. In short, I was very happy with the service and very satisfied with my experience.
I also feel compelled to mention something else that, in my view, deserve special mention. I understand the Viana provided rooms for first responders during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic from March through May 2020. (Let us hope there is not another pandemic height on Long Island or in the New York City region.) Additionally, I stayed there during the time when Tropical Storm Isaias hit New York and Long Island. The Viana provided rooms for out of state crews whose work I am sure proved critical in getting power back on as quickly as possible for residents on Long Island. Both of these situations speak to a "social mission" that I have not seen or heard first hand at any other hotel or resort where I have stayed. The associates who work at the Viana should be proud of this.

There was a hairdryer in my room.
Yes. There is a business center with two computers and a printer
Looks like it is on the map, about a half mile away. I would call the hotel & ask them. Also, you probably ask the hotel if the hotel shuttle could take you over there and pick you up afterwards.
I never had one of those rooms but I think it is a full kitchen as regular rooms have only fridge and microwave
Sorry, we did not purchase any packages, we were there for a wedding.
