Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is fantastic! It’s s tucked away in a safe neighborhood with a close walk to the beach. Very quiet, very clean. The cottage is spacious with heaps of amenities. The owners were absolutely lovely. Very friendly, personable, very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was so delicious! The presentation and quality were fabulous! A must stay!

We have spent a very comfortable time at Andrea’s , our hosts were welcoming and helpful. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our apartment and the outdoor area where we ate our meals. We were able to borrow beach towels and a spade for use at Hot Water Beach which is a must do. Whitianga is a delightful town and we would have liked to stay longer.

The couple who own the B&B are so lovely, can’t do enough to help from local recommendations to a spade for hot water beach along with tide times. The place was comfortable and had all we could need, bed great. We would definitely stay again if we were in t the area.

The B&B had absolutely everything we needed. Great attention to detail and spotlessly clean. Information on things to do in the area, an assortment of snacks in the room, it made for a perfect experience. There was even an ironing board in the cupboard

On a quiet residential street, but only a bock away from the seafront and a short distance from the town, Andrea’s B&B is a very peaceful and homely place to stay, with lovely friendly hosts. The Guestroom bedroom and bathroom are both very spacious, giving you plenty of room to relax in. There is a small food preparation area with fridge, microwave, crockery and tea/coffee making facilities. Once prepared there are both an indoor and an outdoor table, on the decked terrace, to choose to eat at. We chose to have the cooked breakfast option and were served a super plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes and potato croquettes, along with a toasted muffin. This is delivered to your room and again, depending on the weather, you can choose to have this indoors or outdoors. Unfortunately, with the planning of our trip, we were only able to stop one night, as it is a place where I could definitely have stopped longer.

Very nice accommodation, handy to lost springs and would definitely stay again. Easy check in and out. Located very close to the beach and a very comfy bed. Will stay two nights next time as wasn't long enough.

We spent two nights at Andrea’s BNB and would definitely stay again in the future! The location is ideal, very close to the beach and all the shops/restaurants etc. Our hosts were very accomodating and helpful. The only con I could mention is that the room (the guesthouse) was very hot over night - keeping in mind we did stay in the peak of summer. A fan was in the room but we felt it didn’t do much to cool us down. A minor negative so doesn’t affect my overall rating.

Andrea's Bed and Breakfast has all of the facilities you would need and more. It is super clean and tidy and close to the beach but very quiet. Warwick and Gillian are very flexible and if you need off street parking, not only for a car but for a trailer, they are only too happy to meet your needs.

This place is a gem. The owners were friendly and attentive. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was more than you could eat. The most distinctive thing was the attention to detail. The room was extremely thoughtfully appointed with all you need.
